Away with the stigma of corrections nursing being unsafe. There are officers present with all patient interactions for safety and security, unlike my time in the ED where I was subject and witness to multiple staff assaults. Low patient ratios, excellent teamwork, opportunities for education and upward mobility, compensation ~20% higher than hospitals in the area, comprehensive benefits (pension, and regence PPO Health insurance) Nursings best kept secret.

She will lie in your face. Right now she is being investigated by the ethics board. That should tell you what kind of manager she is. Please run away. Working for WCC has great benefits for retirement but that does not hold good nurses there. Horrific treatment!!! Front desk person was so unfriendly. I…read morewalked in with food and drinks in a bag, went to the rest room and when I walked out she was right there "Do not go into the gym with food or drinks". I wasn't even near the gym but okay she was just letting me know the rules....I guess. Then the same person told my 7 year old "Do not play near the vending machines" . Well ,okay I mean, what kids aren't fascinated with this amazing machines! Someone stood guard at the gym door checking for food and drinks. I just saw the parents turn back saying "oh, I'm so sorry about that" with their coffee contraband in the hands. The ref that day yelled at the players constantly throughout the game. Absolutely terrible, aggressive and abusive of power. The kids looked shocked. Then they told my son who was PLAYING IN THE GAME that he couldn't drink sparkling water ( I guess regular water was fine?). Wow. I get that we are not from High Point. We have an all white team on both sides from the other side of Seattle. I worked in High Point for years with this community and loved it. I was talking up High Point for days before we got there. It was so sad, c'mon guys we are all humans! Seeing this made my heart hurt. But don't worry, I remained composed and polite.

The man that works there was loading the daily mail run into his very nice looking Jeep and looked like he was about to hit the trails. I give him props since he's probably the one mail carrier for the entire island. This office is situated at the far right end of the AI General Store. Get it all done in the only shopping area (one store) on the island. I will have to go back to get a picture since I felt kind of odd trying to get a pic will the postman was hustling to get the big huge bags of mail into his Jeep and probably didn't need some nosey tourist prodding for answers or photo ops. HAHA.

I am able to watch virtually and it is very convienient for me. I feel the spirit move just the same... Not only do I feel they don't need to showcase a "production" like I feel in other churches (they simply meet at the high school). They don't seem to force any political agenda which I appreciate so much, and the come as you are mindset.. I also respected Gino and Rick and am especially thankful for the new pastor, after hearing his sermon today, 1/4/26. He spoke about the loss of his daughter, and I was tearing up because you can tell he has stood fast by God through it all, and this trial has moved him to not reject God but pull Him closer. Honestly it really resonated with me, and I felt that because Jake was so vulnerable it made him feel more grounded. And I really like how he preached about the Arc and the theories science has about it, made it have more sense to me. I pray for this church. That more people will want to go here and feel welcomed, especially in today's world with all this confusion.... I have also received prayers from Gino when he was the pastor, for my eye and it was healed. I reached out the the church staff about getting baptized, and I am very excited about this coming up. I am thankful for this church, even if now it is remote because don't live in the Harbor. But I can sense God is using Jake in His words.
