Agreed on $150 for two services, after the fact, charged junk "Affidavit Fee", "Mileage" fees, despite having the full scope of the ask before hand. Also charged a certified mail fee that I don't agree with either, but a bit more understandable if there was confusion on whether that that should have been included. I asked Mike to serve court documents to someone who works at home remotely, and therefore doesn't have a predictable out-of-the-house schedule. Apparently they didn't respond to his phone calls, and their name wasn't listed on the buzzer box of the apartment, so he felt there was nothing more he could do. I expected that there would be more in his arsenal to complete a service than that. He communicated the situation when I checked in with him, but he wasn't very proactive in his communications otherwise. read more

I was extremely disappointed in the service I received from KKWT Process Services. I explained to Mike I needed the party served at least 10 days prior to a hearing date. I forwarded him the paperwork one month prior to the hearing. He did not attempt to serve the party until the week prior of my hearing. He had several excuses as to why he had not served the person. He lied and stated he went out twice but the party did not answer the door. When I questioned him about it and told him he was serving a business, he changed his story. I used Mike numerous times to serve my ex-wife contempt court documents because she consistently failed to follow the court ordered parenting plan to allow me to see my son. Plus, I always paid Mike immediately after his service. However, when my ex-wife decided she wanted to change the parenting plan because she refused to follow it, she decided to use Mike to try to serve me her court documents. What makes matters worse is that I was a loyal paying customer of Mike's for a very long time. I was actually still one of Mike's clients during that time. I had no idea what to do when I learned that the Snohomish county sheriff's office had stopped serving small claims notices (I live in Seattle but the defendant did not). I'm glad I listened to the other Yelp reviewers and gave Mike a call. It's stressful filing a claim and preparing for trial and Mike makes this part part of the process so much easier. Service was exceptionally fast. He was even kind enough to remind me of my court date. I would recommend using a process server rather than going it alone or relying on the post office. I was skeptical of this business since it had only 15 reviews, but when i saw that they were all positive i decided to just call and go for it. Upon calling Mike the first time i asked about his service and if i could have someone served a specific day within a certain time frame because i needed this person served asap. Mike let me know that this is possible and it will be $85 since it was a date that was coming up soon, a couple days after i called him to be exact. He told me to send him an email with all my papers needing to be served, the address of where he needs to go, the name of the person being served, and a picture of the person being served. I emailed all that information the same day i called him, as well as the specific day and time frame i needed the papers to be served. He sent an email back asking for a little more information about me but did not mention anything about him not being able to serve the papers the date i asked. The day and time frame arrives which is Thursday the 26th between 6-7:30pm and after 7:30pm had past i was expecting a call or email to let me know if he had been able to serve the papers and i got nothing. I then sent an email and left a voicemail and didn't hear back until the next morning Friday the 27th around 9am, he sent an email saying that he assumes the person i am serving works other days and didn't ever plan on doing it that specific day......what??? If he did not plan on doing it that specific day that i needed and asked for, or could not do it that day then i would have politely took my business else where. This is a very important matter and i needed it done on that day and now serving these papers is having to be further postponed and its beyond stressful. I am NOT pleased with how Mike did business and think that he needs to work on WAY better communication. Just wanted people to be aware of this situation so that they know this could happen and if you need speedy service this may not be the place to look to. read more

Really needed to find a reliable efficient company or person that had reasonable rates and most importantly have time to put the work i needed done as priority and to have it completed by Monday. And it was already Friday night around 7pm. I sent out 8 request here on yelp to Servers in the Seattle area. KKWT Yelp page says that they will respond in something like 20 mins or something. What ever the add said he respond way faster. He was the first to respond. And his response had what the cost would be for each service that i needed done. So efficient. He had me scan the papers to be served and then email pdf copies to him. One of the defendants being served was a company and knowing what he does from years of owning this company and doing this work, he double checked to make sure we were serving the right company, and lucky for us he did that because the papers actually needed to be served to a different LLC. And had we delivered the papers to who we had listed as the defendant they can get out of having to show up. So you tell me if you think this was money well spent for me! read more
