After an absolutely horrendous experience with the AT&T-branded store on Hopyard Road in Pleasanton, where Dan was rude and hung up on me twice simply for asking whether that location was a corporate AT&T store, I decided to go to the AT&T store at Stoneridge Mall instead. I'm extremely glad I did. Ryann at the Stoneridge Mall AT&T store was fantastic! Ryann was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The experience was exactly what I would expect from AT&T, especially after being a loyal customer for more than 20 years. Most importantly, the Stoneridge location is a true AT&T corporate store, and the difference in customer service was night and day. There was no defensiveness, no attitude, and no hesitation in answering my questions. Ryann simply focused on helping me and making sure I was taken care of. After the way I was treated at the Hopyard location, I was seriously considering taking my business to Verizon. Ryann and the Stoneridge team helped restore my confidence in AT&T. Neither were interested in the newest iPhone 17, but they wanted to find-out about some of the other models that matched their interests. The Apple Team Member who was assisting them was very patient and provided his input. He even mentioned that the new iPhone 18 will be released in a few months. This is a popular and busy store. There were people constantly coming-in and out while we were there. The patience the staff have is admirable. By the time we left, over 3 hours had passed. I decided to grab a seat on the couches outside the store, which I'm happy I did. The Apple Team Member helped my wife and son set-up their new iPhones. The Team Member did a nice job of informing my wife and son about their new phones. They also traded-in their old iPhones and applied the credit to their new iPhones.

Whenever I have questions of any kind, they are quite helpful. They are very patient with me, and hardly ever make fun of me. They did not laugh too hard when when I brought in my five year old phone to upgrade. Today, I had some technical questions on the use of my new A21 Samsung Galaxy phone. For example, I did not know how to stop the phone from dimming whenever I made a call. The answer was so simple, I felt silly. There is a sensor on the phone, and when you hold it near your head, the dimming stops. It's a pleasure to patronize this store. Honestly, I don't know how you could do any better. When I went in, five separate employees jumped up to help me. This is absolutely true--I am not making this up. They were not trying to pressure me to buy anything--they just wanted to help. That's what I call great service The nice people answered my questions quite readily. Next time, I will come up with tougher questions to try to stump them.

The female worker here has been rude on two occasions. I really need to get her name. T-mobile CS sent me to this store to pick up my youngest daughter's phone that is on warranty. The female agent refused to do the exchange. After one hour here I am now in the parking lot with T-mobile CS and most likely nothing will be resolved. We have paid $9/month for insurance on her basic phone for 2+ years that I was told I can buy it for $50; but, they won't assist me further. Basically, you'll get screwed over and over; given the run around between CS and the store; and still no resolution. So now; on hold with CS and waiting to speak to someone in CS to most likely give us the run around as always.

I spent over $200 to get my iPhone X Max screen repaired at this place. After getting my phone…read moreback, the new screen was significantly brighter compared to the original screen (something I was going to overlook) and the new screen would not "wake up" or respond if I tapped it. 5 weeks after getting the phone repaired, I noticed a discoloration in the screen in the top right corner, and now, 6 weeks later, the screen has a long crack down the middle even though I never dropped it. After reading reviews, it looks like going back to have them fix these issues is pointless, despite the 90 day guarantee, and I certainly don't want to be accused of doing this damage myself when that isn't the case at all. Save yourself the hassle and pay the extra $100 at Apple.

Tajar plugged my phone into the charger to see if the issue was as I described, which he did not need to do. I noticed he was holding the phone in an odd way and walked off to discover that my phone was booting in maintenance mode. I panicked and went back asking why my phone saying it is erasing all data, knowing it was performing a factory reset and there was nothing that could be done to reverse it. He claimed no responsibility, was extremely rude and unhelpful, claiming that a phone cannot be reset without unlocking. Unfortunately Galaxy S7 can easily and quickly be factory reset by holding down the up volume and home button keys for about 10 seconds. It is just about impossible to do this by accident, as you have to hold them down hard. Lost 2 years of data. Ended up bringing mall security into things, filing a complaint with the mall about the shop, and will be forwarding the report to Cellairis HQ. The associate there is an absolute clown with no concern for customers or value for their property.
