Despite my extremely hectic schedule, I wanted to take the time to leave a review for Jacquelyn. To start, her work ethics are phenomenal, and this isn't just centered around the solution-based mindset she implemented while working with us. I'm in an industry where client relationships are everything; she possesses something that very few people do, consideration and engagement. She genuinely wants to see the wellbeing of her clients, I got a glimpse of that by hearing her on the phone with another client, and anyone speaking with her for just a few minutes would see that as well. She helped us out at the El Segundo location. Initially speaking, let's just say that our introduction to US Storage was shaky, at best. The day we got to meet her, we could feel our relationship with US Storage center reaffirming. Everything was resolved through Jacquelyn, and I can say that currently we're happy tenants. Kind, friendly and has great customer service skills that most companies lack! This is the worst storage center in Los Angeles and Inglewood. The manager at this location is terrible and nasty. They tried to raise the price on the unit after having you sign up for the first three months on introductory cost. The manager could not process the monthly cost correctly and charged me twice for the same month. I had to call my bank to have them reverse the charge. If your thinking about using this facility there is a new storage center down the street and the staff is slot nicer. read more

I hate this company!!! I chose to store my items here because of the positive yelp reviews. However, that was a HUGE MISTAKE. I'm supposed to have access at 7:00 am, I arrived at 7:05, but the main entrance to the elevator to get to my unit was locked. The movers and I were looking for a way to get into the building. Eventually, we find a stairway further down from the main entrance, but we have heavy items to carry upstairs. BTW I'm getting charged by the hour when I finally get to my storage unit, and I opened it up. I see a ton of roaches scattering around, and the storage is empty and was never used by me, so now I'm in a state of panic. I couldn't put my items in the storage unit because I didn't want my belongings to be infested with roaches. GROSS!!!! I had to send all my belongings back to my old storage unit, and I had to give the movers $100 for nothing. I called the US storage call center at 7:05, and they said someone from their corporate office would call me. This call was regarding not having access to the elevator and staircase! I didn't receive a call from ANYONE!!!! Then, I called again to inform them about the roaches. I have yet received a callback. I call the front desk when they open, and the agent is EXTREMELY RUDE and insensitive. He tells me they locked the door because of an incident that occurred the night prior. I explained to him I paid movers to move my stuff into storage, and the service isn't cheap. If you have hours posted why would deny other access to the building, someone from your management office should be there to open the door. I told him about the roaches, and he didn't seem surprised about the insect problem at all. I told him I wanted my money back because I wasted my time and spent extra money. He says, "I'll have to contact my corporate office and give you a callback." I'm DISGUSTED and EXTREMELY UPSET! SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY!!! DON'T LEASE WITH THEM!!! read more

There aren't enough appropriate words I can say to express my gratitude and appreciation for the customer service at this location. But I'll try: I looked around for storage when I needed to stage my home for sale. The pricing was fair and competitive so I stored my non-essential items at this space while I prepared the home. Over the course of going to market and selling my place I came to interact with Freddy and Danielle quite a bit. I have to say, I've seldom experienced better customer service, professionalism and generosity of spirit. Freddy is the Manager and whenever I had a question or concern about the property or my unit, I found Freddy to be attentive and conscientious about advising me or solving the problem. If Freddy was off, Danielle, who works at a couple of locations, was just as thoughtful and detail oriented. When I did sell and needed ideas and options for combining my storage with home furnishings as I looked for another home, again, Freddy and Danielle were VERY helpful with suggestions and advice to make the process easier. Another thing I loved about working with Freddy is, he's very upfront and honest. There are not hidden fees or bait and switch scenarios to navigate. That is very rare in the Storage business. Moving is stressful enough as it is, but having people who are more concerned about easing your concerns and making the process less stressful while still being honest, compassionate, professional and funny will keep business coming to them. I travel a good amount and it was a convenience to have access to my unit later in the evening at times verses places that stop access at 5 or 6pm. My final thought is whenever you do business with someone for an extended period of time, you're bound to have concerns occasionally. Whether it's competitive pricing that may occasionally change (with plenty of notice) or something as simple as observing something on the property that needs to be addressed. The true test is having someone you can count on to resolve or explain the issue expeditiously, putting the customer first. That's what Freddy always did. Even when I wanted to change my location...downside or needed more room Freddy and Danielle made it seamless. Believe me, I'm a big supporter of reviews and sharing experiences that will save others money and headaches. Likewise, if someone does a good job I think they deserve praise. If you want someone you can communicate well with that doesn't BS you, Freddy's the Man. I'm going to miss knowing my things are secure and I could count on them. I'm not sure who actually owns this location but I will say he/she is VERY LUCKY to have Freddy managing it and Danielle working there. They have retained me as a customer for US Storage as I move my things to another part of the city. They even made sure I was set up at the new location by calling ahead. I will be recommending more business to them and this location. And I just hope that the staff at my new location is as sharp as these two cool people were. Thanks Freddy and Danielle! I am fairly new to this facility and so far it has been a great experience. The sign up process was very fast. Freddy was very helpful and made sure I was in and out in no time in order to get my cranky baby home for nap time. The facility is clean, albeit very warm upstairs. I have been slowly moving stuff into our storage and each time I go it is a good experience. The only MINOR inconvenience is the hand cart is kept locked, so every time I need to move things in I need to stop by the office to get a key in order to unlock the hand cart. And of course return the key after. But that could also be a good thing, because that means they keep a close eye on who is coming in and out. Storage is like an extension of my home...so when it comes to feeling like my belongings are safe and the surrounding property maintained well, US Storage Inglewood is just that...you will never feel like you have to worry...moreover I have had inside units, as well as outside units...and while the inside units stay more dust-free...the outside units are great...because you get easy access and while the price difference is more for the convenience...i find the natural light makes it easier to manage my storage...Oh and I love the gate access hours...the gates open at 7am and 9pm is the closing of the access gates...that is a full two more hours of access time in the evening...as I have been to others that close at 7pm....and feel rushed to get in the early evening ...I also took advantage of their 2 months half off deal...and made a one year commitment to be able to get a 15% discount for the remaining year....love saving...also the staff here are very friendly and go the extra mile to help you...you will not be disappointed...plus their website makes it easy to pay your monthly with your checking or credit card account...very convenient...happy storage days! read more
