I strongly recommend avoiding"Do NOT use StoreLOCAL". I paid monthly for their insurance, trusting that my belongings would be protected. After a year of storing items in their facility, my entire storage unit was completely overtaken by mold--everything inside was ruined and had to be thrown away. When I filed an insurance claim, they declined it and paid nothing, despite the fact that I had consistently paid for coverage on top of paying my monthly storage fee. This was a devastating loss, and the lack of accountability from the StoreLOCAL was unacceptable. Their insurance is essentially worthless, and their customer service provided no help at all. I was very surprised to find the hidden gem and use it for my work. Their customer service and the way they go above and beyond is so heartwarming. I wish I lived closer this location. Wonder full service! I went online and reserved a unit then received a call from Julia the manager. She was great. She provided information about the unit and told me what promotions were available. She was patient with me while I had tons of questions. The next day at move in my mover cancelled on me at the last minute and Julia waited after hours to make sure I was able to get and rent the unit as well as get our belongings into the unit. This business has gotten increasingly worse since it has switched over to the new management. They now have predatory practices where they increase the storage fees every six months to nine months and you may or may not receive an advance notice and the management only has an I'm sorry for you and it is always your fault. Never their fault for not notifying you, I am highly disappointed by the fact that while there are general increases that occur with all storage facilities, but with this one now the increases are between 30 and $40 each time so by the time they finish getting their fill of increases this will be the cost of a small mortgage if the company is going broke , they need to sell, but this is a terrible way to do business. read more

Don't be standing in the way when the employees decide to leave this place - they will run you down in their haste to leave. And don't dare rely on the after hours service number. There must be one person managing the entire 1-800 #publicstorage system for the country. I went to my storage unit to get some things I am donating to a church rummage sale. Although they close at 5 pm, I did not realize at 5:03 pm that the doors would lock me out just outside a glass door from where my belongings are sitting behind glass. My code will not work to get inside the sliding door and I have been on hold now with the after hours system for OVER 25 MINUTES!! employees cannot page that they are closing? They are not required to do a quick walk around or check the cameras for people still inside? Truly unbelievable! But I will be sleeping here tonight in my car before I will just abandon my belongings inside for tomorrows first arrival to steal or someone to throw away. read more
