This United States Postal Service location was efficient, and I was helped promptly. I was able to ship my package quickly with no issues.

The blonde lady with bangs did not help me today I had everything with me the money order my birth my I. D and said that because the money order was to the U.S postal that She couldn't do and told me to come before 3oclock with cash . I came at two , she yelled and said she told me to come at One which she didn't told me to leave or come back tomorrow because her current appointment was going to take an hour . It was just very unprofessional the way she handled and yelled saying I came to late even thought I came an hour before she told me to. Some people are just miserable and don't know how to handle situations correctly like an adult . read more

The counter employee overcharged me by $5 to mail a large envelope because she made up their own rules instead of using the First Class Mail Large Envelope dimensions criteria stated clearly on the website. Do they work on commission or pocket the excess? I didn't argue for fear that it might go missing. Also why did they get rid of the outside drop boxes & force us to walk inside? The outside door handles are sometimes falling off and months will go by before someone screws them back on, just shows how much they care. read more

Most of the time when you come return a package you don't get charged but this time while waiting in line I was looking around for the free mailers that I always use when returning something couldn't find them, when I asked the the lady she said she had some and charged me for one, like wtf? I'm returning something why would I be charged for returning something back to seller?!?! read more

Can I in any way give negative stars? I had to go to the post office recently to mail a few things that my local postal employee would not pick up: some recycled ink jet cartridges being returned in a manufacturer-stamped and labeled envelope along with some Christmas cards (yes, I still do those). This place is a pig sty. --The outdoor mailboxes have been removed due to theft. --There are missing handles on doors for entrance/exit. Push on the door's glass to get in or out. --Filthy. Absolutely filthy. I felt like I needed to take a bath in sanitizer after I Ieft. --Big sign 2 weeks prior to Christmas: OUT OF CHRISTMAS STAMPS. Weird, since last year, my Christmas stamps were printed from the kiosk. Is it not able to do that any more?? --Heard one of the employees, in my brief period of time inside this rat hole, berating one of the customers for some unspecified reason. This is one place that reminds me of a quote that Charles Grodin said in the movie "Dave": "If I ran MY business like THIS business, I'd be OUT of business." Yeah, the USPS needs to be out of business. It's horrible and getting worse progressively every day. Read recent news reports of the sorting facilities in this area that have lost or not delivered packages or envelopes from over 2 months ago. No wonder so many people pay their bills online. Why would you, in your right mind, really trust the USPS for to deliver anything of importance? Go ahead, nod your head up and down because you know precisely what I'm talking about. read more

The difference it makes being greeted with a smile and helpful demeanor is real. I'm sure folks come in here with bad attitudes sometimes & so the postal staff feel like they have to be on guard. Doesn't excuse the lack of customer service at this location and very clear "what do you want?" look I encountered here today. Tried to submit for a new key and the staff at the counter was not the least bit helpful. read more

They very obviously have thieves working there. I had two valuable items stolen out of my post office box. They did not take responsibility. They do not care. Filing a claim was futile. read more

Great customer service. Very helpful. Lobby is clean and nice atmosphere. On the other hand, never go to the Walters road location unless you want to be disappointed with bad attitude. read more

My only complaint is the line. However; in their defense: the staff is friendly and geared toward individualized customer service. They want to be the best part of your day! Their lobby reflects this, it is well stocked and organized. They take pride in providing the best postal Xperience possible. If you want a highlight to your day, come here to send off your letters, packages, getting a passport or simply checking your P.O. Box. read more

Literally the worst post office ever. All of the employees are EXTREMELY RUDE. They talk to you like you're a child that can't comprehend. Wish I had a different one closer to my home. Passport Services: I was extremely nervous for my passport appointment here because of the reviews but I'm happy to say that I had a better appointment than I thought I would. My appointment was for 12:30 which is lunch time so they were 10-15 behind but once I got to the counter ms. Naomi was so sweet and understanding. I had all of my paperwork and everything ready but I was nervous because of all These horrible reviews but she made it just a painless experience and was so kind to me. Rude. Rude. Rude If there was a rating for the lowest and most awful US Post Office in Houston... THIS WOULD BE IT. Rude staff for no reason. If you hate your job, LEAVE! I came across this employee and she was so mean and very uneducated on having proper BASIC manners, I wasn't gonna lower my self to the low level that she is, so I decided to go to another post office. read more

Pathetic service...canceled son's passport renewal appointment this afternoon, no prior notice! Had taken off from work and pulled son from school early for the purpose. Asked for a Supervisor so I could get an explanation as to why no notice was sent, but none appeared! A don't-care attitude pervades this location! No recognition whatsoever that they have jobs because of customers. There is a reason why I avoid this place and it just got reaffirmed! read more

Many of our USPS mails misplaced or lost in this neighborhood. I have received several wrong mail and others got mine as well. Recently, I have lost / did not receive my Harris Co Mud. 530 mail in December which MUD Co customer service claim sent in the mail. Received the first mail from the MUD Co last Friday and requesting for additional penalty fee. This is really unacceptable. When I called the Klien Post Office and report the complaint, the post office Manager was rude and didn't want to accept the complaint. I would ask the neigbors who are affected like me to take a minute and call the Post Office to file a complaint. read more

This place is an absolute joke. Every single time I come it always says due to technical difficulties we cannot ship. What's the point of having the automated kiosk that never work. This place is a complete joke and it should just be shut down. The new machines they put in never work. The old machine just to actually work. from time to time the old machines would go down just like these. However she is due machines are always down about 75% of the time they do not work. So what is the point to replace an old machines the word about 80% of the time to put a new bushings it hardly ever work. I don't get it. I am sure this will go on deaf years that's us as it's the post office and they could care less if people are able to ship stuff. I've been to several post offices all around Houston. And they all had that same government job attitude. It's like going to the DMV. This place is a joke. read more

Leanne is always insightful and happy to help. She gets through the paperwork very quickly, and has customer service with a smile.

Seven days ago, June 1st at around 10:45a my son n law drove me to this location so that I could pick up my mail that was put on vacation due to medical emergency. Was told there was NO bin with my mail that the carrier must be delivering it that day. Ask why would they be delivering it when it was to be on hold till June 21st? Said they would call the carrier and make sure they knew to drop the bin off at the ft door. A week later still no mail. I call several times a day and the phone just rings till it cuts you off. Currently on a walker and can't drive. Also when we arrived the line to the "blue door" was around 10 deep & not one person at the counter where there were 4 workers and when I ask if they could help me I was told "NO" that I'd have to wait in the line at the "blue door" (I really don't recall if it really said "blue door" just trying to paint the picture) the attached picture shows that there was no one person at the counter where 4 workers were standing around chatting with one another & when I ask my question two of these workers answered no very rudely. Please forgive me I thought their JOB was customer service! read more

Appears as though thieves work here. Money orders that get "washed" and rewritten (my husband didn't know to use a special pen). Packages marked as delivered before the mail person makes it on my street, and when mail person confronted, package has disappeared. People take all precautions, everywhere you go. read more

Truly terrible! The guy serving at the counter (not wearing a name-tag - I wonder why) was like something out of an SNL sketch of a federal employee who just doesn't give a care, and feels there are no consequences for acting unprofessionally and discourteously. Hopelessly unhelpful, and recommended I go to UPS!! The only piece of good advice he off Update July 2020 - these people have not got any better, I'm sorry to say. Rude and uncaring. Few if any deserve to have roles in a service industry. My advice to customers - find another post office. Further update July 2020 - Chantelle is very pleasant and efficient, a remarkable exception. The other person serving today barked instructions like someone dealing with intake at a prison. Awful. read more

I don't find any usps pleasant anymore, unfortunately I had to come here to mail an item per AT&T. This location is the only location open on Saturdays in the area. This place is a madhouse. From the zoo-like chaos in the lobby, to the staff who really have zero clue and care in the world - be prepared for a headache before you even walk in. It's the post office for Pete's sake. A government backed system that's clearly in need of a major overhaul. I pay for a box for one of my companies and elected for their highly advertised "street-addressing service," which allows me to receive packages delivered to my box - so long as they're not a prohibited parcel (batteries, alcohol, over 70lbs). Instead of picking up the packages with ease (the yellow slip was in my box), the clerk proceeds to advise me I owe postage for something I'd already paid for. I dispute her claim and ask for verification to which three - yes 3 - other staff corroborate and proceed to inform me they'll be refusing my already delivered packages even though my paperwork clearly showed my ability to receive the packages I'd already incurred a $379 fee for via UPS. They swore my paperwork was correct. *eyes roll* Fast forward to the complaint process - the OIG/Consumer Affairs office confirmed that the local office was wrong in returning/refusing the packages and they'd make it right. A month later and here we are.... I've yet to receive my money & they apparently closed the case as being resolved. Lucky for them I'm quite persistent and keep on them regularly. ;-) This case is most definitely not closed. read more

PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS POST OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. 1. I drove several miles to report that an envelope I was expecting (with a check inside) was never delivered to me. According to the USPS Informed Delivery (Daily Digest) email that I received on January 3, 2023 with a screenshot of the check from FL State Chief Financial Officer, the envelope was to arrive that week. Coincidentally it never did, even though it was scanned by your company. 2. When I asked the young lady at the counter if I could report it lost or stolen, she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to contact the originator to send me another check. 3. I proceeded to then give her my prepaid AncestryDNA box that I was sending. She offered me a receipt to track the package. I have logged on today 1/31/23 to check the status and a) the receipt was printed on faded ink; b) one of the digits is almost illegible; c) with every tracking number combination I've tried by replacing that one digit, no results are found for the tracking number or it says "label created, not yet in system." What is the point of going to the counter for assistance if the package is not going to be scanned or tracked? What is the purpose of providing a tracking slip if I can't even track the package? 4. At the bottom of the receipt there is a QR code as a shortcut to the survey and even that didn't work. We tried scanning the QR code on two different iPhones. Neither camera could scan it because of the faded ink from your printer that day. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS POST OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. Not only are valuable items going missing, I now potentially have a sentimental item lost to God knows where and it's my DNA to research my ancestry and long lost family. How disappointing!!!!!! I would never have shipped that package from this location, but did so because I was already there asking about a lost envelope, which I thought was a one-time thing. Also, see the screenshot. It's saying "when the shipper provides an update." In this scenario I am the shipper. So did she just toss my small box into the trash can when I walked away? Because it's not in their system! read more

One of the worst passport services! The clerk lady processing the paperwork and taking the picture has zero customer service skills - she behaves like if she hates her job and takes it on the customers. In addition to that, the way she took my picture for the passport was very amateur - she put the camera lens just a couple of inches in front of my face and now my picture looks like a fish eye. It doesn't even look like me! Of course, this is a government job, thus, no repercussions. read more

Once again, another package lost or stolen from this postal office. I honestly can't believe it. This post office really needs to investigated. Had an expensive package being delivered to my house. If I could give them less than 1 Star, I absolutely would. They've cancelled my kids passport appointments 2x in a row and keep telling me I can go to another one that's quite a ways a way. They are completely worthless and a waste of government funds. read more

I found this location to be non-compliant with USPS. They operate as though though they are an independent entity by creating restrictions that aren't USPS enforced such as requiring applicants of PO office boxes to live within the state of Texas; invalidating out of state 'valid' drivers licenses, registrations, and/or leases. I gave the desk workers the benefit of the doubt assuming they were simply ignorant of the error when informed of this, but then there supervisor Susan said the same; "A physical LOCAL address is required to get a PO office box at this location". USPS forms do not require that that a valid proof of address be local. read more
