Can I in any way give negative stars? I had to go to the post office recently to mail a few things that my local postal employee would not pick up: some recycled ink jet cartridges being returned in a manufacturer-stamped and labeled envelope along with some Christmas cards (yes, I still do those). This place is a pig sty. --The outdoor mailboxes have been removed due to theft. --There are missing handles on doors for entrance/exit. Push on the door's glass to get in or out. --Filthy. Absolutely filthy. I felt like I needed to take a bath in sanitizer after I Ieft. --Big sign 2 weeks prior to Christmas: OUT OF CHRISTMAS STAMPS. Weird, since last year, my Christmas stamps were printed from the kiosk. Is it not able to do that any more?? --Heard one of the employees, in my brief period of time inside this rat hole, berating one of the customers for some unspecified reason. This is one place that reminds me of a quote that Charles Grodin said in the movie "Dave": "If I ran MY business like THIS business, I'd be OUT of business." Yeah, the USPS needs to be out of business. It's horrible and getting worse progressively every day. Read recent news reports of the sorting facilities in this area that have lost or not delivered packages or envelopes from over 2 months ago. No wonder so many people pay their bills online. The african american lady working today on 1/17/25 at about 11-12pm was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude!! I overheard her being rude to a customer in line as I waited at the self service kiosk. After the man left, she took the blue bin that contained packages as the self service kiosks package drop offs were locked. No one could drop off their packages because she took the bin we were using!!! There were CLEARLY still customers waiting in line before they were supposed to close. Passport Services: I was extremely nervous for my passport appointment here because of the reviews but I'm happy to say that I had a better appointment than I thought I would. My appointment was for 12:30 which is lunch time so they were 10-15 behind but once I got to the counter ms. Naomi was so sweet and understanding. I had all of my paperwork and everything ready but I was nervous because of all These horrible reviews but she made it just a painless experience and was so kind to me. Many of our USPS mails misplaced or lost in this neighborhood. I have received several wrong mail and others got mine as well. Recently, I have lost / did not receive my Harris Co Mud. 530 mail in December which MUD Co customer service claim sent in the mail. Received the first mail from the MUD Co last Friday and requesting for additional penalty fee. This is really unacceptable. When I called the Klien Post Office and report the complaint, the post office Manager was rude and didn't want to accept the complaint. Seven days ago, June 1st at around 10:45a my son n law drove me to this location so that I could pick up my mail that was put on vacation due to medical emergency. Was told there was NO bin with my mail that the carrier must be delivering it that day. Ask why would they be delivering it when it was to be on hold till June 21st? Said they would call the carrier and make sure they knew to drop the bin off at the ft door. A week later still no mail. I call several times a day and the phone just rings till it cuts you off. Currently on a walker and can't drive. Also when we arrived the line to the "blue door" was around 10 deep & not one person at the counter where there were 4 workers and when I ask if they could help me I was told "NO" that I'd have to wait in the line at the "blue door" (I really don't recall if it really said "blue door" just trying to paint the picture) the attached picture shows that there was no one person at the counter where 4 workers were standing around chatting with one another & when I ask my question two of these workers answered no very rudely. This place is an absolute joke. Every single time I come it always says due to technical difficulties we cannot ship. What's the point of having the automated kiosk that never work. This place is a complete joke and it should just be shut down. The new machines they put in never work. The old machine just to actually work. from time to time the old machines would go down just like these. However she is due machines are always down about 75% of the time they do not work. So what is the point to replace an old machines the word about 80% of the time to put a new bushings it hardly ever work. I don't get it. Truly terrible! The guy serving at the counter (not wearing a name-tag - I wonder why) was like something out of an SNL sketch of a federal employee who just doesn't give a care, and feels there are no consequences for acting unprofessionally and discourteously. Hopelessly unhelpful, and recommended I go to UPS!! The only piece of good advice he off Update July 2020 - these people have not got any better, I'm sorry to say. Rude and uncaring. Few if any deserve to have roles in a service industry. My advice to customers - find another post office. Further update July 2020 - Chantelle is very pleasant and efficient, a remarkable exception. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS POST OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. 1. I drove several miles to report that an envelope I was expecting (with a check inside) was never delivered to me. According to the USPS Informed Delivery (Daily Digest) email that I received on January 3, 2023 with a screenshot of the check from FL State Chief Financial Officer, the envelope was to arrive that week. Coincidentally it never did, even though it was scanned by your company. 2. When I asked the young lady at the counter if I could report it lost or stolen, she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to contact the originator to send me another check. 3. I proceeded to then give her my prepaid AncestryDNA box that I was sending. She offered me a receipt to track the package. I have logged on today 1/31/23 to check the status and a) the receipt was printed on faded ink; b) one of the digits is almost illegible; c) with every tracking number combination I've tried by replacing that one digit, no results are found for the tracking number or it says "label created, not yet in system." What is the point of going to the counter for assistance if the package is not going to be scanned or tracked? What is the purpose of providing a tracking slip if I can't even track the package? 4. At the bottom of the receipt there is a QR code as a shortcut to the survey and even that didn't work. We tried scanning the QR code on two different iPhones. Neither camera could scan it because of the faded ink from your printer that day. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS POST OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. Not only are valuable items going missing, I now potentially have a sentimental item lost to God knows where and it's my DNA to research my ancestry and long lost family. How disappointing!!!!!! I would never have shipped that package from this location, but did so because I was already there asking about a lost envelope, which I thought was a one-time thing. Also, see the screenshot. It's saying "when the shipper provides an update." In this scenario I am the shipper. So did she just toss my small box into the trash can when I walked away? This place is a madhouse. From the zoo-like chaos in the lobby, to the staff who really have zero clue and care in the world - be prepared for a headache before you even walk in. It's the post office for Pete's sake. A government backed system that's clearly in need of a major overhaul. I pay for a box for one of my companies and elected for their highly advertised "street-addressing service," which allows me to receive packages delivered to my box - so long as they're not a prohibited parcel (batteries, alcohol, over 70lbs). Instead of picking up the packages with ease (the yellow slip was in my box), the clerk proceeds to advise me I owe postage for something I'd already paid for. I dispute her claim and ask for verification to which three - yes 3 - other staff corroborate and proceed to inform me they'll be refusing my already delivered packages even though my paperwork clearly showed my ability to receive the packages I'd already incurred a $379 fee for via UPS. They swore my paperwork was correct. *eyes roll* Fast forward to the complaint process - the OIG/Consumer Affairs office confirmed that the local office was wrong in returning/refusing the packages and they'd make it right. A month later and here we are.... I've yet to receive my money & they apparently closed the case as being resolved. Lucky for them I'm quite persistent and keep on them regularly. ;-) This case is most definitely not closed. read more

I found this location to be non-compliant with USPS. They operate as though though they are an independent entity by creating restrictions that aren't USPS enforced such as requiring applicants of PO office boxes to live within the state of Texas; invalidating out of state 'valid' drivers licenses, registrations, and/or leases. I gave the desk workers the benefit of the doubt assuming they were simply ignorant of the error when informed of this, but then there supervisor Susan said the same; "A physical LOCAL address is required to get a PO office box at this location". USPS forms do not require that that a valid proof of address be local. read more

The clerk lady processing the paperwork and taking the picture has zero customer service skills - she behaves like if she hates her job and takes it on the customers. In addition to that, the way she took my picture for the passport was very amateur - she put the camera lens just a couple of inches in front of my face and now my picture looks like a fish eye. This is by far the worst Post Office I've ever experienced. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We come here, it's a negative experience, from the wait times, to the rude attitude of the employees.... But I thought okay, it's a government operated agency, they can't really control (or care about) personal service and how their customers are treated. However this last experience was the straw on the camels back... The carrier that tried to drop off my package knocked on the door. I was trapped under a sleeping infant, so I was slowly getting up as not to wake her. But the time I got to the door, he had already left I initially received a "sorry we missed you slip..." with directions on how to reschedule delivery. I thought "wow, that's convenient!" Yea right.... so on the date that I scheduled the delivery, I made sure that my daughter did not fall asleep on me all day. I waited and waited and finally while I was talking to a neighbor (standing in MY doorway), I saw the mail truck stop at my mailbox at 6:18pm and put in some items. One of which was ANOTHER FREAKING "SORRY WE MISSED YOU SLIP"! Except this one wasn't even a real one! It was a photo copy! And he didn't even get out of the damn truck to attempt to deliver the package!!!!! Lazy a$$ mailman in a rush to get home. Saw him speeding down Champion forest 20 min after. Absolutely unacceptable. Update: As I waited in the 45 minute long line at the post office to pick up said package, I was writing this... once I finally got to the front of the line, they STILL COULDNT FIND THE PACKAGE! They sent me home because they were "sure it was out for delivery today"... surprise, surprise... it wasn't. read more
