There's a parking lot, which makes it easy to get in and out. It wasn't very busy when I went, although I've definitely seen this place with a pretty long line before. There was a line, but instead of one employee manning the front counter that can handle 4 attendants, they had 3 employees working, with 4th person doing clean up of the people that queued up. She asked customers certain questions to ascertain what they needed and speed up the process. She was a little gruff and to the point in her way of dealing with things, but she did have a soft spot of asking people how their day was going. With Covid, the line may seem long with social distancing, but I like the fact they understand people shouldn't be waiting in line for any longer than they need to be. When it was my turn, the guy was really nice (which I was already observing that with other customers) and got me done quickly. He seemed very experienced because he could anticipate what I needed to do from my initial approach to the counter to using the credit card system. Well done USPS. During our most recent visit, the individual who identified herself as the manager, Vanessa Miller became extremely confrontational and grabbed a box out of my hands. We were also told our packages wouldn't be accepted without a manifest and that they could be sent to "dead mail." In previous interactions, we've even been threatened with having the police called and had our legitimate business shipments questioned as fraudulent even tho they were prepaid and we get pickups and drop offs everyday. We have no problem following USPS requirements, we just need consistent information and professional treatment. After repeated issues, I have now filed a formal complaint with USPS and requested escalation above this location's management. This has gone far beyond one bad experience and is actively interfering with our business.

Like all post offices you may have to wait in line but my waits have never been more than 5 minutes and like I said they have been friendly and professional. They also have a self service machine in the lobby. The only complaint is that they have had problems over the past several years with thieves stealing the large outdoor mail box with its own drive thru lane. That's sad and it's too bad that the bad guys get away with that. It amazes me that people would steal a mail box especially the extra large ones that have been outside here. Currently there is no box so you have to walk inside to mail something.

He is 'less talk, more action' and has ensured my business pickups occur daily for over a month--a new record for this area. On the rare occasion of a scheduling hiccup, his responsiveness and commitment to actually solving the problem is unlike anything I've seen in the postal service. If you are a local business owner or frequent shipper at the T W House station, know that there is finally someone in management who genuinely cares about service standards.
