Very pleasant experience and although this page has not been claimed by USPS I will still take the time to acknowledge the energy at this location! I scheduled an appointment for passports a couple years ago at this location blindly even though I have closer locations but horrible experiences at those. 9/24/2025: I made an appointment online to get my passport application filed/renewed. The online appointment scheduling was easy. One thing to note, I tried 4 times to get the authorization code to be sent to my phone via text, but it would not work. I had to have it emailed instead. No worries, just letting others know the issue. I was helped almost immediately for my appointment time. The guy was very nice and helpful. I wish I would have gotten his name. Receipt notes: Clerk #5 on 9/24/2025 at 10:40 AM (my appointment was at 10:30 AM). I was there for maybe 15 minutes total. I was truly expecting at least 45 minutes. Everything was easy, fast, professional, and convenient. There is so much surrounding a passport, so it's hard to know where to go and what to do. I already has my photos done at Walgreens a week prior and I completed my paperwork prior to my post office appointment. Doing this will shorten your appointment time. Don't come here for passport services. The website and sign that says "walk ins available" is not true. They do not take walk ins at all. Period. Also, the lady was very mean about it. She could have been more helpful and just directed me to make a reservation. Also, one person was helpful when I asked for clarification on why they don't take walk ins when it is listed on the website and hanging from a huge banner on the post office. read more

Best in customer service. This location has been my go to for years. They can have a line out the door and still offer amazing customer service. They are quick, friendly and courteous, even when extremely busy during the holidays. If you go during early am they are usually less busy however Saturday during their limited hours you may experience a short wait. Easy parking and close to City Centre. I still like to write and mail cards for birthdays and holidays so I will continue to use this location. Appreciate the great customer service and convenience. read more

Located just east of City Center. Came in to renew my passport and the process went relatively quick. The lines here were pretty short, the USPS staff were pretty snappy but all in all, this is probably as good as bureaucracy gets. read more

The US post office supplies wonderful service to the US community whenever we need to send information to family or to businesses US post office delivers this information. Whenever we need overnight service, we do choose to use a commercial service. In the future we expect they will be big changes in the way that Information is exchanged and those at the US post office will be important to solving that problem. It's nice to have a post office that has a extended hours on Saturdays, nice staff, busy day specially during the Christmas times and got in and out in fair amount of time. Now if people whom visit the place as clients would do their home work before hand that would be a kind just here for the rest of the clients specially during the holidays. Okay I had trouble in Europe while traveling with my soon to be expire passport, but I really do not have the time to go and take pictures and to try to find an existing post office in NYC. I thought I'll just wait and do everything in Texas. First time I went, I waited about 20 minutes only to realize they don't accept passports after 2 pm. The second time, I walked in and I saw someone standing in a different line, but there were no signs indicating whether or not it was a passport line. I believe all the Post Offices I have been to in the city has signs, but here...I guess they don't do enough passports to afford a sign. I asked the woman and she said yes, she was standing in the passport line and the way she said it made me believe she has been standing there for awhile now. I signed in and noted the fact the sign in sheet indicates the limit of 20 PASSPORTS per day. I thought I was the 20th person, but the family in front of me wrote two names on slot #18, but only to find out they were actually a family of four, so I technically was 22. Anyways, I stood there and stood there for over an hour and 30 minutes. I seriously, felt my mood change and change. Is this what I missed my trip to Austin for...standing here in this slow moving Post Office? I became so irritated, because I find lack of efficiently...very annoying. Two people on staff during prime time hours...LUNCH TIME: 12-2pm. One person, who I found was named Ms. Kim - she disappeared to go on her scheduled lunch break. But before she did, she did manage to take care of the passport lady....but only one passport she did. Now only the Black gentleman was helping the ridiculous line. He seems very nice and all of them do, but seriously...PICK UP THE PACE. It doesn't take that much mental energy to freaking fill an order of stamps or to ship something out. Finally, someone name Singh comes out to help, but now it's the Black guy's turn for lunch and still no sign of Ms. Kim. WTF. Again, we're back to only one staff again. Singh...I don't know if he gets commission off of sales since he was using these pushy sales tactics - he must since he kept insisting these people needed more than they what they came there for. Like keep it moving... Now Sheryl comes out and now we have two staffers (I was here long enough, I don't know why I never got the Black gentleman's name!) Ms. Kim now comes out, but the postal line never seems to end. It becomes short, but then the staff becomes short and by the time staff becomes FOUR...the postal line keeps growing. Finally the family of four, the husband said something to Sheryl and so she advised Singh would take care of the passports. Sigh....family of four was not allowed the MAIL IN passport option and Singh was seriously a very slow worker. He took an extremely long time and yes, it was FOUR passports, but he made them swear in twice even though I only saw Ms. Kim swear in the lady once. I was saying to myself, please do not let me get Singh...let me get Ms. Kim or the Black gentleman. Doh! I get Singh. I gave him my Mail In form, but he advised I wasn't eligible for MAIL IN form. He was like didn't you read the directions? I was like yes and he disappeared to grab the directions. He said see these four questions. He's like what year were you born. I told him and he was like see...you're not eligible. I read the first question out loud..I answered yes and then when I was going to read the second question - Singh stop me and said check yes off in the box. Okay, couldn't I just mentally check off yes, rather than killing another damn tree because Singh couldn't process my answers without visually seeing them in front of him? Singh seriously made me check off two Yes before he realized I was right and he made a mistake. There...a tree was killed for his lack of attention and mental capabilities. He advised he couldn't take my photos and Ms. Kim would be taking my photos. I waited for another good 10 minutes before Ms. Kim came and took my photo. She was nice...asking me if I liked the picture or not. She was also very helpful and more knowledgable than Singh. I finally got out of this place after 2 hours and 40 minutes! People here should employ more staff during lunch hours and move more quickly and be efficient. Oh I forgot to mention how irritating the customers were...some lady held up the line, because she was asking for a refund for priority mail. She didn't even send the mail - someone sent her priority mail and she didn't get it until 12 days later and she had the nerve to ask for a refund. Well since USPS could not provide the refund, she started having a hissy fit and that took up more valuable time. And if you want to buy stamps or ship small packages - HELLOS USE the Automatic Postal Service machines. Gees people...Don't wait in line for a LIVE staff to help you! read more

I came here on January 11 2021, it was the worse service I ever had visiting a post office! The worker there was very rude towards me and giving me attitude for no reason! I needed to get my packages out the priority drop box and I needed some assistance and he just gave me attitude throughout the entire ordeal. Disgusting excuse for a post office. I've lived all across the each coast and this is by far THE WORST Post Office I've ever dealt with. Not one employee I've seen deserves to be working there soaking up federal pay and benefits. I've received at least a dozen "no secure location available" notifications when the post office is too lazy to deliver my packages on time. The service desk workers are rude and bossy and there is absolutely never anyone available in the package pickup window even with over 6 people waiting to pick up packages. The only way to get service is to hold the ring bell down until someone reluctantly comes to service the accumulation of customers. I've spoke to the manager about all of this and even brought up the horrible reviews on both google and yelp and she couldn't have cared less. WOW! Just left this post office. The experience was absolutely amazing! Although the lady behind the counter did not assist me with my transactions, she made EVERYONE welcome. She acknowledged people as they entered and let them know that she and her team would be with them as soon as possible. I wish I got her name because she needs a raise! Been coming here since it was remodeled in the mid 1990s and I might actually enjoy mailing stuff because of this location. Just like any other USPS place, go when it's not busy and you will be satisfied. The staff is pleasant and trained to handle just about anything. Store was packed to the door and yet, I managed to be in and out in less than 10 minutes, the workers there were all nice and made announcements explaining things every 2 minutes or so to make sure we all had what we needed. When I got to Debria, my cashier, she was helpful, hard working, well trained, and sweet. She moved quick but not rushed, she made sure I understood everything that was going on, she walked me through each step like she was doing it herself, she had a smile on her face the entire time and treated me with the utmost respect. Enjoy waiting in line forever trying to pick up held mail at the blue door. "Ring for service." I rang probably 10 Times waiting several minutes in between each time. They have no problem with making you wait forever and honestly don't have an intention to help you until you annoy them. I finally just laid onto the buzzer and let it ring out for over a minute several times. Guess that finally got their attention. Honestly horrid, horrid customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone who came in was greeted nicely and even offered hand sanitizer with a smile! Came in today with a customer pickup slip. Made sure to get here early so I was among the first in line. I was told if I had a pickup slip I needed to get out of line, and go to another window where I could ring a bell for service. The person working at the counter who told me to go to the window then proceeded to help everyone else in the building, before coming to open the door HIMSELF to help me at the pickup window. Are you serious? If you can walk from the counter to the pickup window, it can't be that hard to just help me from the counter! Why did you punish me for having a slip? I was forced to wait until everyone else had left the post office, instead of being helped when I anticipated being helped. I had no choice but to come here, this is where they were holding my package hostage. If you can avoid this post office, do so! read more

This is one of the worst post offices I have ever been to. They never have more than two people checking people out and thats on a good day. The checkout process is extremely slow so if you have an hour to kill why not go wait in line at the post office. The self-service stamp machine is never working so you have no choice to wait online if you need stamps or to mail a simple package with you can do yourself on the self-service machine . I was told almost every day for a week that the machine would be working "tomorrow". I know go to a different post office. read more
