They are super friendly, very hospitable, and so helpful when it comes to any questions about shipping. They are super efficient, organized, and quick to get in and out I don't know if it is the management at this location or these women are all just amazingly friendly people, but I only go here even if it's out of my way to ship things

I told her I have sent postcards from this office and recipients tell me there is no postmark. She said that those postal workers were not doing their job. I showed her the usps website through my phone that a hand-stamped postmark can be requested at the post office. She told me that this is only at the discretion of the postal worker. It was not even a busy time as there was no one waiting behind me.

It's not perfect, but I can't think of too many post offices that are. The best things? Parking is abundant, the crowds aren't really here in full force (even during closing time), and it seems low-key most of the time. I am able to send most packages without much stress and the self service machine is usually working quite well. I haven't owned a PO Box here, but I don't intend to either. The not-so-fun things? The staff is painfully slow sometimes. Even though there's no line, the wait can be a little bit of a deterrent when the counter ladies are taking their time with each customer. It's likely the customers, but they always seem to run out of pens for filling out forms, so bring your own. The place also smells a bit like mildew, but I've noticed this is common with most post offices throughout the city. If I can get here, send a package / certified letter, and leave in 5 minutes or less, I consider that a thumbs up. It hasn't always been the case, but for the most part, this is a likely scenario for most of my visits.

It was convenient, not crowded, and stocked with Flat Rate boxes that my niece needed. My niece already had three boxes filled with her dorm items. However, the sharp worker noticed that the boxes she had gotten were "Priority Mail" which had a higher shipping cost. We quickly opened all boxes and repacked items into "Flat Rate" boxes. Thanks for letting us use the free packing tape and ballpoint pens! While my niece packed her belongings, I wrote her Hawaii address on the boxes. The sharp clerk again noticed that some of the addresses were incorrect! My niece asked me if I knew her Hawaii address... Uh... no... LOL! Luckily, the address was corrected before it was shipped to the wrong place! Haha! Whew! Mission accomplished! Boxes were mailed home!

She has packing tape, but no boxes. I told her that the US Post Office provides a great service... FREE flat rate boxes which can hold any weight! I went to another post office before coming to this University Station, but that location had nothing. This post office was quiet, empty, and didn't have air conditioning... Because it was a Sunday morning. However, there still is a self-service station where you can mail your packages, weigh them, label them, and place them in the secured Dropbox... Packages will be ready to go on Monday morning! Thank goodness this post office had four sizes of Flat Rate Boxes so my niece can have a better idea of how many she needs and what sizes! The small box ships for $8.45 and the large box is $21.10. There are two styles of medium boxes and they get sent for $15.50. Thank you to our postal workers... You're reliable and loyal!

I put a hold on my mail and selected the option to pickup my mail that was held. I would rather pick it up because the mailbox is small. I actually resumed the regular delivery for before I returned home. The worker I spoke to told me the day the hold ends is the same day it starts delivery... which I agree. But my request said "Customer will pick up accumulated mail at Post Office". On the FAQ is says, "Note: There is a 10 day period in which to pick up mail at the end of a USPS Hold Mail® service request. If not picked up by this deadline, it will be returned to sender. If your delivery does not resume as requested please Contact Us." I went to pickup my mail before returning home today and the mail was already delivered to the house.
