Truly the laziest and rudest postal workers at this location. I have been coming to this location for years purely because of proximity to home, but each time I leave with a worse and worse taste in my mouth. Each postal worker that I have dealt with at this location truly treats everyone like trash and has zero desire to help answer questions or offer guidance. The self service machine is constantly broken and the lady refuses to print the QR code for you. Infuriating experience each time I come here. Others in line with me have similar grievances with which prompted me to finally write this review after years of horrible service. read more

I came here in the afternoon just as many people come here to mail a package using the lunch break, but for some reason they only had one person working at the counter. So the line was long and slow. But since I am here already, I just wait it out for my turn to mail my package. But surely they know they would have more customer during noon time. So they should have more people working at the counter. read more

Consistently loses packages that you mail. The only way to not be completely screwed is to pay them to ship your package and then pay them again for insurance because you know they are going to lose it. Constant let down. read more

I had ordered a curling iron and hair spray. They placed my package in my box and I could not get it out. I rang the bell for someone to assist me. The mail guy came to the door and said he will walk around to the back and get it. I told him, no walk out here and get it like you'd like for me to get it. Another man was there waiting for service and laughed at what I asked. The young man came out and wrestled with the package but eventually got it out. We all laughed about the situation and my package tore on the end. It was a very funny time had by all. read more

USPS - Post Offices Near Me - Houston, Texas

If you are lucky enough to have Tina as your representative you will love this place and her! So sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable! Sending a package overseas to a soldier in Korea. She was amazing - and calmed all my fears and anxieties read more

Employees are super slow, rude, don't take time to explain things, and are distracted on their phones.

Even though it can get pretty packed sometimes, this U.S. Post Office is one of the best locations I have visited. The ladies at the counter have always been courteous and helpful, but there is also a self-service machine if you are not so keen on human interaction. Parking has been abundant even during busier times, but your mileage may vary. read more

Worst customer service ever, are you even going to open on some days or not? No line and the lady told me togo scan at self serve lol!! Then why was she there! Most times I go there is a closed door in normal none holidays! read more

Man over the past 6 months I've had 5 packages showing on informed delivery and marked as delivered and nothing was delivered. It's so not okay that the post office read more

I tried calling the phone number that they give out, 713-528-7671 and it rings and rings, then cuts off. It's very frustrating dealing with these postal employees. We have a problem of business checks not being received, multiple times. Yesterday, a stack of mail (over 200 PIECES!!!) was delivered. ALL were post-marked in July, and it is SIX months afterwards. And, we check out mail on a very regular basis. I don't know what can be done with the USPS. I left a recorded message with the main post office "Customer Care Center" asking for a call back, but it hasn't been returned. read more

If I can get this place zero stars I would. The customer service here, no matter the time of year is beyond sub par. It almost feels like they don't even realize the goal of being at work is to actually, wait for it, work. I went in, and typically the self operating machine either 1. Isn't in working order 2. Doesn't have paper to print a receipt so, I decided I'd wait in the insanely- also typical- long line. I wait, and wait, and wait and get up to the counter. Let's get some background: my package is already packaged, taped, labeled, everything is DONE. Literally. The ONLY thing the "worker" (who's getting a pay check) needs to do is scan the label print the receipt I'm seeking. N O P E. Refuses. REFUSES to print the receipt. Naturally after waiting in line and- there's no sign on the front door stating if you'd like a package receipt you can only use the self service kiosk- she refuses to help. Says, " I can't print a receipt." Let's recap again, so, all the people in line BEFORE me who did NOT have their SH$*T together for wait for it... A RECEIPT, but I who- just needed you to pick up the scan gun, do a quick click, and few clicks of the computer mouse cannot get a receipt. Truly. Amazing. THIS LOCATION SUCKS. so, if you're like me and typically are a prepared person don't go to this location. If you are one of those people that walk into the post office the hold up the line and have no clue what's going on you will not only get a receipt, but this location is 100% for you. read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before dropping my package off here. The workers at the counter are rude. I think they threw my package in the trash after she felt annoyed with me. Tracking has been showing scanned at post office for several days now with no movement. read more

I love this location -- the ladies here are always nice, informative and they aren't rude when you ask them for tape! I always drive to this location no matter where I am because I know I'm going to be treated respectfully. read more

Dreadful. One person working and 30 people waiting in line. I was there to buy a money order. After waiting 10 minutes the postal clerk announced that they were only accepting debit cards - no cash - and that he didn't have any money orders. Complete fail. read more

Only one person working and 15 people in line. This is ridiculous 3:30 pm on a Friday. Won't be back to this location.

What a horrible place. Absolutely no customer service. I've tried to get my box rekeyed. They keep telling me to come back later. This morning I was told that another employee could do it after 10am. Came back and was told no one could do it . Staff are absolutely useless. It's no wonder the are having so many financial issues. UPS Store offers the same services plus a lot more. Totally disgusting. read more

Every time I come to this location it's super busy. This past time I went the line was out into the lobby. However, they had 3 staff members and the line flowed quickly- only waited about 5 min total. The clerks are quick but a bit curt. If it gets me through the line quick, then I really shouldn't be complaining about their impoliteness. The negatives- since the line was so long I wanted to do the self service machine but that was unavailable the day I went. Also, they were out of a ton of priority envelopes and boxes. I wanted to ship my package in a small priority box but they didn't have any! Even worse, there was a lady there picking up mail and she was ringing the bell a good 10 minutes before anyone came to the pickup window to tend to her. So rude. Would I still frequent this location? Yes, because it definitely beats the sluggish and even ruder employees at the Richmond location in Montrose. read more

Staff member was very rude when I asked her for help. Did not provide any customer service at all. Honestly very shocked by how they act towards customers. read more

Could not have more horrible customer service!! They have a problem with everyone and are lazy and don't want to help people. They want you to use the kiosk for everything! Do not waste your time with these ladies who work here, extremely rude and will argue with you about everything so they don't have to do their job! read more

This branch is awful. The staff are some of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered at a post office.

It's about what you'd expect from a US Post Office. When I went today they were cash only, due to their internet system being down, and were rude to anyone who didn't happen to notice their sign saying "cash only". Which wasn't exactly obvious until you had waiting in line and saw it at the register. Oh well, it's still the less expensive option compared to other shipping services. read more

The most dehumanizing experience of my life. Nothing is clear, being a 22 year old no one teaches you how to do this. The workers look at you like you're dumb as rocks. This is why you're gonna run out of buisness. Not because of technology, because of the awful employees treating customers like less than human. I wish i could give zero stars. read more

Parking here is BiZARE but I keep a PO box because it's convenient. Excellent people watching and the lines aren't as bad as most post offices. read more

Came in twice today to attempt to mail a package. Both times the line was out the door into the self service lobby. The second time I waited for about 30 minutes and only two people were serviced that whole time and I still had about 12 people waiting in front of me. I left and drove 20 min to the Unity Drive location and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. There was a line there too but the workers are more efficient. read more

If I could give this post office ZERO stars, I would. I don't have enough characters to describe the heartache I go through on a weekly basis. I would not trust them with a thirty cent post card. My mail DOES NOT get where it needs to go...even after several attempts. It gets returned to me destroyed. Just received a check from a company that was dated April 2021...it was postmarked in April of 2021. Today is August 16th 2021!!! Do whatever you can to not send your mail through this circus!! read more

long line, due holidays but very clean facility and helpful staff. A lot of parking spots

These people NEVER answer the phone. I've had requested package pickups several times, and they never get picked up. Reached out to customer service, and they got a hold of them... received an email from Keshawn Kitchen stating they received my inquiry, however, my packages have still yet to be picked up. read more

Sickeningly rude employees who aren't helpful whatsoever. Typical government employees, but these are beyond bad. Go to another post office to avoid a headache. read more

The worst USPS location bar none. Talking to other people while you inevitably wait in line will confirm this. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to avoid this one. 1 person working when there's a line out the door, somehow each worker only knows how to do 1 thing so there's always just 1 person sitting there doing nothing while the other worker is swamped. Or you need to ship something but the only person who knows how to do it is on lunch break. It's been like this for years, at this point there's no saving this branch read more

i just don't understand how there's one worker at the counter for 7 people in line. nice staff but cmon

The people of the USPS are great. Every post office I visit I'm impressed with how helpful and friendly the workers are. And I always appreciate the work of the letter carriers read more

Paralyzed snail slow, with extraordinary attitude all day every day, any day, any year....ridiculous. Lazy selective treatment from these entitled protected government employees. Not only INSIDE the post office but delivery as well. My "registered letter" was delivered WITH the registration still attached. My home has the numbers on the front door. They are 6 inch numbers, so they are clearly visible, however, my mail and packages go to any one of my neighbors, DAILY. if I receive notification a package has been delivered, I know to put on my walking shoes because I will have to walk my neighborhood to find my package even though my address on my home and the address on all my mail and packages is legible, visible and matching. These employees are set up like a boss with government benefits and protection. There are no words. No hay palabras. read more

I recently had the extreme displeasure of watching a Youtube video where the station manager and staff acted like complete ignorant fools. The station manager isn't aware of what the policy is regarding public photography and apparently can't read her poster 7 or hasn't read the recent memos distributed regarding the topic. This is a 1st amendment protected activity under freedom of the press. To add to the horrible experience the photographers go up buy a stamp and the clerk, THERESA , at the window when asked how she is doing then tells the customer "FINE, until you got here!" What kind of disrespectful and unwarranted response is that? How dare you treat customers that pay your wages and benefits treated so disrespect. I recommend Theresa get some respect, manners, and decency considering she is dealing with the public. HORRIBLE leadership and staff exhibited at this post office. read more

I just had the absolute best experience at this post office on west gray. Bruce Howard went above and beyond to assist me. He assisted me in retrieving an envelope I dropped in the OUTSIDE box yesterday. I realised that I had not included the house number on the address because I had wanted to verify it before I wrote it. I inadvertently dropped it in without adding it. The Mail inside was not scheduled to be picked up until today at 5pm. He finished what he was doing and got another employee to cover for him while he went with me to the box and found my envelope and let me write the address on it and add it back to the box. I had to describe the envelope to him ahead of time (color of envelop, stamp type and what I had already written on the outside) to make sure I wasn't a con. I really appreciate this experience and it gives me a more positive view of the USPS!!!! read more

This office has some serious issues very likely related to employee theft. I took a package there 2 weeks ago, was told to take a picture of the tracking number, which I did , but was not provided a receipt. I won't make that mistake ever again. The package never reached its destination and the tracking number was never scanned, thus no proof the post office ever received it. I caution everyone who uses this facility to demand a receipt from staff and not rely on their suggestion to just take a picture of the tracking number. read more

Honestly, just the worst post office in a busy location. I don't get why it's always understaffed and so crowded and filled with the worst kind of people from River Oaks. I always avoid this location and was reluctant to go today but figured I would just try since I was nearby. The line was out into the lobby, understandably with covid 6 feet apart rules, but this lady was near the back and straight up cut everyone. It was so rude and no one from the post office reprimanded her. I was so angry I ended up leaving even though I was already close to the front. Wish they would open another one around here or hire more people. Never setting foot into this post office ever again. read more
