They already have limited hours on Saturdays and now you're telling me I have to scurry to find another post office. My package has been "being delivered for three days" one time it even said that they couldn't get to the destination, which is crazy because I've had no issues with Amazon or anything else there's no gate there's nothing stopping them from dropping it off at my door like any other package. Came for my passport. Went fast and smooth process. Lady at the front desk helped me and was more than happy to help with all my question.

I have constantly had package delivery issues. Again on 10-30-2024, there was supposed to be a delivery of a package, but the package was not delivered. Almost every package locker still has the keys in it and is empty within minutes of receiving the delivery notification. I went directly to the office the following day and gave my information to the acting supervisor and was supposed to receive a callback, and it's two days later, and still no callback. It is getting to the point where during holidays I can not order anything online that comes through the UPSP because they do not take photos to verify delivery. read more

This Post Office is useless. If you try giving them a call, they will put you on hold for eternity. I called from within the Post Office and saw the employees pick up the phone, put it on hold and put it back down. They were not even busy. The employees are very unprofessional, responding with attitude and threats. While i understand that USPS employees are underpaid, undervalued and overworked, treating your customers this way does not help your cause. Packages are often missed, not delivered on time or damaged during transit. In multiple instances, the USPS driver did not even make an attempt to deliver a package. Instead using the excuse "Delivery Exception, Animal Interference." I do not own any animals, and there are no strays on my street. I've reviewed security footage showing how the drivers will just keep driving past my residence, no animal(s) in sight yet they "couldn't deliver" my package. When I asked about why they said there was animal interference, they looked like a deer in headlights and couldn't provide an answer. Excuse after excuse at this location. Management needs a big rehaul. They obviously don't care about their customers and see their job as a way to goof off during the day. read more

I visited the USPS postal office in Eastwood, located at 5415 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023-9998. During this visit, I deposited 85 wedding invitations in black envelopes along with an additional white thank-you card envelope into the USPS blue collection box and left the postal office. The next day, our guests confirmed receipt of the white thank-you card envelopes, but the black envelopes were not received. Considering both items were mailed at the same time, this seemed highly unusual. A week has passed, and our guests still have not received the black envelopes. I went back to get an update, and they couldn't locate it and figure out the reason. We're less than 2 months away from my wedding and my guests will not get their invitations thanks to USPS losing our mail. I lost a lot of money and my time was wasted!! read more

This could be the worst post office in the state. A complete and utter shit hole. The bad hours and unavailability of online services are problematic as it is but the dog ass customer service and culture with the majority of the employees is what kills the place. They do what they want to do there. I placed a mail hold because I was expecting a package and some important mail but they delivered it anyway and it was stolen. I went there to ask what happened and was told that I need to go find it after confirming that a hold was indeed placed there in the first place, which means that any and all mail would be held that the post office. I showed the lady at the desk my tracking number, and immediately, she cut me off and told me there was nothing she could do because it was an international package. My go to USPS when I need to drop off a package - especially for Mercari. Hardly ever crowded = not a long wait time (if any) and lots of parking. The workers are nice and attentive and never gave me a hard time. read more

Mail was seen in the drop off chute area as appear box is full or mail is clog on something at drop off chute area . When call to leave message. Worst post office in the city. Rudest attendants in the city. These people are just shy of open hostility to anyone who dares to enter this post office. I missed the delivery of a package so I signed the form and left it attached to my door for two weeks without success. I go to the post office this morning and the woman who is passing out packages says "hello", just barely audible. I'm not sure who she is talking to but I look at her and she again says "hello". She is chewing gum, appears mad and uninterested. I'm assuming it's me that she's talking to so I walk up to her area and she turns away while rolling her eyes. On purpose, I say nothing to her and just hand her my slip, she says absolutely nothing, turns away and goes to retrieve my package. When she gets back, I made a point to ask her everything that I think a good customer service attendant is supposed to ask. She becomes increasingly annoyed. Then I thank her and wish her a happy day. She says nothing. All the while, she continues to chew gum. She is not the only one with an attitude at this station. EVERY time I've had to come here it's the same thing. Rude, unprofessional, hostile behavior. Really, if they are that miserable, they need to go find another job. Literally garbage. These are all people who don't give an eff about their jobs. First of all, six months ago, I let them know that my mail carrier put the whole blocks mail in my mailbox and that mail included checks, personal information and wasn't my business. Made me wonder, who has gotten my mail? But I digress, let's talk about how I get my mail. I don't! It comes MAYBE every three weeks and all of my mail is LATE. Ever since I moved back to Houston, I have been disappointed with the service industry in my fair city. That was until I met the two best Postal employees of all time. When I was sold my house, I was given a key to my mailbox in the cluster at the front of my little neighborhood. The key, however, didn't open my mailbox. I know, disaster! So I called the kind folks at the Eastwood Post Office, and not only did they re-key it for me, but they also stayed open a bit after closing-time so that I could get there from across town after work. They have the worse customer service on earth... the place doesn't understand the concept of customer service. If you call to ask about a package or something they just put you on hold and leave you there until you decide to hang up... So one day I decided to see how long they would take to answer it had been 30 minutes and no one would pick up, so I drove over there without hanging up and walked in and showed them how I was still on hold for 40 minutes. When I talked to my post man he just said "yes I left it at your door it was a brown package" (as if packages are usually pink or something) which wasn't true cause they package had actually been sent to the wrong address... If you ask questions they don't answer they just tell you to get in line and its not like you are trying to get ahead in line; questions regarding if you are at the right place or something simple. I've had to call looking for another package in one hour I was put on hold 3 times for over 10 minutes and they just leave the phone and no one ever picks up. I have never had problems with packages or anything, until I moved here... it seems like every other package is a problem and going over there and asking nicely does nothing... One lady at the front desk is nice and tries to be helpful but every one else who works there doesn't seem to care or know anything. read more

Although the website states passports applications are accepted from 9:00am to 2:00pm, I was informed in person today that it is actually 9:00am to 11:00am. Welcome to my local Post Office, which for better or worse tends to be a small outpost of the far larger downtown location. The advantage is that service tends to be brisk, but If you simply must have a particular type of stamp, this is not the place for you. Apparently this can be a major issue for some of the patrons (which have walked out mid order), as supplies can be limited. Carrier doesn't deliver mail for 3-4 days and when he does stuffs box. I assure you I should be getting enough mail on a daily basis. I received flyer for Fathers Day specials, 2 days AFTER sales ended, voiding coupons. Neighbors have voiced their concerns and have received same response, NO IMPROVEMENTS, CUSTOMERS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO SALARIES ARE BEING IGNORED. On some days see carrier drive by and later return after 5:30 pm. To deliver mail sounds like OVERTIME to me. This is worst post office, they act like their doing us a favor. Seems they forget whose serving who. Without us they would have NO JOBS!! Often close early don't have self serve stamp machine, don't have ability to weigh packages to send on our own. read more

Hit or miss service. When the employees are in a good mood, they treat you in a professional manner. When they are having a long day, well let's just say there is an attitude. Once again, this US Post Office strikes again! After being asked to move our mailbox to the fence, or face non-delivery of our mail, our illustrious mail carrier withheld our mail. Once we complied and moved the mailbox to the fence, the mail carrier insisted on leaving the cover wide open so that our mail often flew out of the box or was soaking wet in the rain. read more

I am adding a couple of stars due to a good experience I had there today when I had to pick up a package. The line was a bit intense (10+ at right around noon) and I was a little frustrated when I saw it. There were two employees working but one quickly put up a "Next Register Please" sign and walked away. I just knew this would be a 30-minute ordeal. To my surprise, the second employee asked if anyone was just picking up a package with one of the slips left in the mailbox. "Yay, that's me" I thought. 60 seconds later I'm on my way out the door. This location is the worst of the worse! I was supposed to receive a package from etsy and the seller shipped it via priority shipping. I was tracking the package the whole time and per the tracking it was delivered on 04/24/15 but this is a LIE! Because we've never gotten mails on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th! I've called 4 to 5 times and spoke with a gentleman but I don't think they understand that I needed this package for my wedding! Slow, slow, slow. I've lived in the east end over 30 years and this post office has always been slow. The counter clerks seem to be in competition with each other to see who can be the slowest. I know that the PO has downsized but come on.......1 clerk on duty at peak time?? What gives with that? And ALL the clerks have one speed.....slow. The route carriers are all super nice. Yet again I've had a bad experience. The post office delivered two of my packages to my neighbors house. They weren't home so there was no way of getting my packages. They were left out in the cold overnight. Not only that but they have a bad habit of updating tracking services of packages before they are actually delivered.
