Every single time I come here and ask for help, it turns into an issue. The package drop-off has been broken for most of 2025, and despite multiple complaints, repair requests, and attempts to speak with management, absolutely nothing has been done. It's excuse after excuse with zero accountability. Today was no different. I came in to drop off a package and, unsurprisingly, there is STILL a sign saying the drop-off is not fixed. Not only that, I couldn't even get a receipt to prove I was there. When I asked if the counter could accept my packages, they said yes--but refused to provide a receipt because they were "too busy." That alone is unacceptable. When I asked when they planned to submit a request to fix the drop-off, the employee was, as always, dismissive and uninterested. He repeatedly said, "I don't know," as if the issue has nothing to do with him. When I pointed out that letting this problem drag on for an entire year defeats the purpose of efficiency and actually makes their jobs harder, his response was, "I don't give a damn." That statement says everything about this location. The employees don't care, management doesn't care, and customers are treated like an inconvenience instead of the reason this place exists. This post office can't even handle basic operations, yet somehow finds a way to take its incompetence out on the public. If they have a problem with consistency, they need to talk to each other instead of making the effort, agitation, and aggravation go toward the customer. I have lived in Lexington Grove now a little over a month and almost every other day I have trouble getting the key into the lock in my mailbox at the front of my neighborhood. The mailboxes look like trash as it is. They are all beat up and broken and the locks desperately need to be serviced or greased. Some of the doors are even pulled off and sitting inside the mailbox. I have had to grease up my own lock multiple times just to get the key into it to get my own mail. Given how the city of Missouri city seems to take so much pride in itself, I find it strange that the mailboxes look like utter trash. Then I have to walk out in front of a collision shop with God knows how many cars lining my street just to get my mail and grease my own lock. Not even the city of Houston is this bad. I've tried calling the post office to report this, but no one has ever answered the phone.

This is impossible because the post office closes at 5pm central and I was at home at the time I allegedly picked it up. This is unacceptable and illegal behavior to fraudulently mark a package as delivered. This should be investigated by the inspector general, and if the package doesn't arrive tomorrow that's exactly who I will be contacting. Marking a package delivered to "stop the clock" when it was not delivered is unacceptable behavior and should be punished, but is instead encouraged. Upon arrival, the employee, Darrel Mitchell ( his picture is all over places on this page), immediately displayed hostility, making unprofessional assumptions before even processing our application. After taking our original ID and citizenship documents to copy in the back, he claimed we were missing paperwork and required us to wait in the corner while walk-in customers were prioritized ahead of us. -When I politely inquired about our appointment status, a second clerk ordered us back down to wait in the corner. We ultimately left due to verbal hostility and safety concerns regarding our original federal documents and for not knowing when they will work with us. -To make matters worse, local station management actively covers up staff behavior.
