Appointment was for 1:00, they request you arrive 30 minutes early, I was walking out at 1:30. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A nice staffer was on the floor assisting and directing people to where they needed to go. The staffer behind the desk that processed my renewal was very friendly and showed me my photo and asked if I liked it or wanted another take... that has never happened. I hope all offices have adopted this process. Kudos to this one!!

Their cameras and toll tags seem to do all the work. As long as things go well, they seem to go very well, but when they go bad, they go horrid. I was driving at the speed limit, and getting passed like I was standing still. Speed limits seem to be a mere suggestion along most of the toll road. Houston drivers know better than that. If you're paying to use the roads, I guess you can drive it like you stole it. Some of them probably did. My favorite thing about the Harris County Toll Roads is the cars - when you see the dropped lowrider with the spoke rims that stick way out and the fur on the inside of the car jammin' some DJ Screw while sippin' on some syzzurp, you know you rollin' Clutch City.

So the process is that you walk in take a pull number and wait to see your number flash and they text you on your phone also. Thought Zi had all my paperwork but I was wrong left went home and got what I needed and came but and did it again. Both times the wait was about 30-45 minutes...not bad. The different people that helped me were kind and patient with me. Overall the process was not bad and the people are kind. No checking in till you get there.

I felt that I was treated unfairly and without basic courtesy. Instead of helping, they spoke in a rude manner and made the process unnecessarily difficult. No one seemed interested in answering questions or providing proper assistance. A government office should treat people with respect regardless of their background, but unfortunately that was not my experience here. I hope management reviews the behavior of the staff and improves the service for the public.
