I put a hold on my mail and selected the option to pickup my mail that was held. I would rather pick it up because the mailbox is small. I actually resumed the regular delivery for before I returned home. The worker I spoke to told me the day the hold ends is the same day it starts delivery... which I agree. But my request said "Customer will pick up accumulated mail at Post Office". On the FAQ is says, "Note: There is a 10 day period in which to pick up mail at the end of a USPS Hold Mail® service request. If not picked up by this deadline, it will be returned to sender. If your delivery does not resume as requested please Contact Us." I went to pickup my mail before returning home today and the mail was already delivered to the house.

Every single time I come here and ask for help, it turns into an issue. The package drop-off has been broken for most of 2025, and despite multiple complaints, repair requests, and attempts to speak with management, absolutely nothing has been done. It's excuse after excuse with zero accountability. Today was no different. I came in to drop off a package and, unsurprisingly, there is STILL a sign saying the drop-off is not fixed. Not only that, I couldn't even get a receipt to prove I was there. When I asked if the counter could accept my packages, they said yes--but refused to provide a receipt because they were "too busy." That alone is unacceptable. When I asked when they planned to submit a request to fix the drop-off, the employee was, as always, dismissive and uninterested. He repeatedly said, "I don't know," as if the issue has nothing to do with him. When I pointed out that letting this problem drag on for an entire year defeats the purpose of efficiency and actually makes their jobs harder, his response was, "I don't give a damn." That statement says everything about this location. The employees don't care, management doesn't care, and customers are treated like an inconvenience instead of the reason this place exists. This post office can't even handle basic operations, yet somehow finds a way to take its incompetence out on the public. I despise coming here, and it's infuriating that this is the only post office serving the area

I have lived in Lexington Grove now a little over a month and almost every other day I have trouble getting the key into the lock in my mailbox at the front of my neighborhood. The mailboxes look like trash as it is. They are all beat up and broken and the locks desperately need to be serviced or greased. Some of the doors are even pulled off and sitting inside the mailbox. I have had to grease up my own lock multiple times just to get the key into it to get my own mail. Given how the city of Missouri city seems to take so much pride in itself, I find it strange that the mailboxes look like utter trash. Then I have to walk out in front of a collision shop with God knows how many cars lining my street just to get my mail and grease my own lock. Not even the city of Houston is this bad. I've tried calling the post office to report this, but no one has ever answered the phone.

Customers were using the post office entrance to load and unload. Today, there was a man sleeping at the entrance. Not sure if he was waiting for his mail or he was just a transient.
