Not sure why these reviews are so negative of this post office. The multiple times over the past years up to now this post office on Long Point has consistently been exceptional with their service and hours of operation. It's so vital to have a functional and friendly Post Office. Much like the libraries, we need Post Offices, too. Hoping this Post Office location sticks around because I am very grateful for its existence. I remember when the Post Office on Heights closed, and it's been replaced with shops and restaurants. This is the best post office I've been to here in Houston. They were efficient in getting to and helping each person in line; even accommodating a lady who seemed to be somewhat dramatic and sitting down in a chair waiting for them to finish helping her. Post Office anxiety is a thing, y'all! I have to visit a post office maybe once a year and it gets me every time. I arrived 10 min before closing and was worried they'd turn me away. Kinda tried to lay low and creep in like a ninja but there was no need! The way the clerks worked together was efficient, the line moved so quickly, and get this...THEY WERE NICE! So glad I took a chance on this post office. The clerk even patiently asked if she could help me get anything else. Still carrying my anxiety-donthitme-vibes, I told her I'd get postage stamps at a machine. She insisted on getting them for me, even whipped out a stamp book so I can pick any ones I liked! One new staff member ruined what was possibly the last civilized USPS left on Earth. I hadn't been in awhile but apparently this postal "service" worker made herself right at home, dismissing customers like vermin and bellowing "God Bless You" with an evil smile as a way to dismiss a response, conversation, or person she didn't want to hear. This hateful, sarcastic, and rude person must have suffered some serious trauma to be continually taking it out on strangers who need her help. i feel especially sorry for her lovely colleague who was kind and patient, but forced to do damage control by apologizing and helping who she could. What a toxic environment for the coworkers. I will avoid the Long Point location until I get brave enough to check and see if she remains at that location. read more

My opinion still remains the same for this USPS office. The main area is kept in order and they keep the supplies as organized as possible. I mean there's only so much you can do when you're helping customers while some little brat uses labels like confetti...and the adult doesn't feel the need to clean it up *major side eye* My transactions are always processed efficiently & correctly. I've never had a problem with things not arriving on time or tracking errors. The few times I've had a wait the staff was trying to explain a process to somebody who didn't know what they were doing. I come to this post office about once a month because it's close to my job. The employees seem disgruntled. A few months ago, the lady at the cash register tossed my receipt at me and bitterly told me to have a good day. Most of my encounters here have been similar. Today, there was ONE person working at the register. I waited over 35 minutes in line to mail a letter. When I left, there was an extremely long line of customers waiting. I've been coming here for years simply because it is close to my job and I have to mail certified letters as part of my job. Sometimes I have to mail out 10 to 15 letters, it is not something I like to do or want to but it must be done. The last year though I noticed the attitude of the workers have declined sharply. They act like I'm a bother every time I come. I came with about 15 letters recently and the lady behind the counter muttered crazy, which I heard. They always try to do what they can to move the line. Sometimes there is a worker in there shouting orders at customers. I don't like that. Sometimes they also have someone to help you with packing supplies. The clerks are always nice and I never have to wait long. read more

I've visited many USPS locations all over Texas and have never seen associates as rude as the employees at this location on repeated visits. The employees at this location give the most attitude I have experienced as a paying customer for the simplest requests or clarifications on order details. In the event you do request a quote or are delayed for more than 2-3 seconds pulling up the address for you order you will be rudely told to step out of line and complete on the side without clarifying in detail what is needed. read more

I am a newbie at shipping things and the staff here was very helpful in letting me know what forms I needed to fill out and what I was paying for. Definitely going back and shipping all the things here! They also have several sizes of boxes at one rate shipping, so whatever fits they'll ship at one set price, pretty awesome! read more

Since my work is around this area I usually stop at this one and I must say that the staff here is quite a bit better than the staff at most other post offices. Went to get my sons passport last week, clerk who took our photos was patient with my 15 month old and pleasant. Pam was a different story, she was rude and was trying to refuse our form of identification even when the US PASSPORT website said otherwise. It seemed to me like she was purposely trying to refuse our right to obtain a passport for my son. read more

Avoid using this location if you order online. I live 0.8 miles, fifteen minutes walking distance from this location, and they manage to not deliver my packages almost every time. Absolutely inexcusable that the carrier does not deliver the package to the door, the property office, or even leave at the post office. Too often have i checked a status of the package, showing delivered and it not be at my door, my box, my office or the post office and with no explanation as to the whereabouts of the parcels. I have to have my online orders delivered twenty three miles away to my father's house to ensure I receive my online bought goods. Inexcusable. Please, if you order online, you would find peace in coordinating with your online vendor using UPS or FedEX, or something which requires a signature to ensure you receive what you pay for. read more

ZERO stars. This place is a joke. Went here to get my daughter her passport. Her learner's permit was expired so I went to the government website to check what other identification was acceptable before we showed up to her passport appointment. I brought all the necessary documents along with what the government website listed as acceptable alternate proof of identification. They discouraged us to submit our paperwork and said that it wouldn't be accepted. They said they would be more than happy to take my application money, but it wasn't going to work. Instead, they sent us on a wild goose chase to the dps office down the street to get a Texas Id card and said that they would submit the paperwork when we came back with it. I showed them the website and they still said that it wouldn't work. They prided themselves as being certified and experts at passports. I went down the street to another passport place and submitted the same paperwork we had brought to this post office. This person knew what he was doing. 2 weeks later, my daughter received her passport in the mail. This office is certified alright. They're a bunch of certifiable (what's the word for a group of people who don't know what they're doing?.. starts with an "i".. anyways, it'll come to me). If you need to submit a passport application that's idiot proof then come here. Otherwise, go somewhere else. You'll be glad you did. read more
