welp that lady again lol. She gets so many complaints and it's hilarious... she thinks she's some sort of manager or something lmao. They don't even run that place to any standard that usps has. She closes the doors way earlier then 5pm most the time lol so I come in at like 4:55 pm and she says they're closed... lol the first time this happened I walked out without saying anything until I got to the door I said "yall aren't closed" then walked out. Yes they're very lazy. I also saw the cops there not even a couple weeks ago probably about an altercation with that lady I can almost guarantee it. What needs to be improved is the attitude of the female associate working there. I went in today 12/31 and the associate was sitting on her phone at the register, mind you store was virtually empty. She was clearly far too busy that couldn't assist with simple basic questions and wouldn't even look up at you just completely dismissive and rude. My little brother and I came to complete a new passport application WITHOUT an appointment. I drove 1 hour to come to this post office and it was the best experience I have ever had. Tiffany helped us throughout the process- she was so kind, patient, and supportive. She answered all of our questions, she was quick and efficient, and all around a great person. Re edit of my original review as I may have flown off the handle abit. After some research over the weekend I believe I found an alternative, so I called about this remedy before going in and lets just say things went much smoother, or so it seems at this moment. Just wanted to apologize for any potential stress I may have caused, we all have enough as is. If there are issues in the future (I hope not) I will address them professionally. I understand that not living at the address you recieve mail at complicates things, but people need to be able to recieve mail. My experience here was excellent. Tiffany helped me and was efficient and genuinely friendly. I was worried about the people waiting behind me while I fumbled through finding addresses and info. She didn't rush me AT ALL. In fact, she helped me relax a bit. And...didn't have to wait even after stepping out of line. After reading some reviews I was prepared for a rough experience. Only leaving one star because I can't leave a 0 rating. This is the worst mail service I have ever experienced. Constantly swapping mail with the neighbors because they put it in whatever box they choose. complain at the post office and they laugh and say it happens all the time. They will NOT deliver a box for any reason, just put a note in your box to come to the post office to pick it up. I can't understand why the USPS even allows this to happen. oh and don't even bother trying to call them. that's a joke in itself read more

A smaller rural post office. I've yet to wait in line here and the staff are friendly and helpful. Can't say what it's like around lunchtime, so it may be insane. As per usual, the automated machines are...ancient.. I think there may be a bird in there pecking on a stone tablet...but as I said, I've yet to see a line at this location, so I don't use them anyway. read more

The post office is fine, and the folks who work here are friendly and efficient. My concern is with the delivery...sometimes my packages are marked as undeliverable for various reasons. Shipments from Amazon are often pushed over to the next day. I recognize I'm not in the actual H-town, but this is pretty lame. Step it up, Huffman! read more

I live in the middle of Houston but work at Atascocita. When I needed to renew my passport, all the post offices I checked with in Houston were overbooked and didn't have any available appointment times to accept passports for at least 6 weeks. Most of the people I spoke to were very rude and seemed to have expected me to be rude as well. Finally, I checked with the post office in Huffman, which is fairly close to my job, and they were able to set up an appointment for the very next day. The clerks there, Ida and Lisa were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They were great with all their customers. I was in and out in a very short time, despite my having filled out the wrong form. It's a pretty rare occurrence these days to receive excellent customer service in a U.S. post office, Apparently it hasn't gone out of style in Huffman. read more

This post office consistently loses packages. I live in Crosby and my friend lives in Huffman. I order from her site and when it says it's been picked up by the postal worker, I expect it to be at my house within 3 days. I waited for a month and she told me she's sorry that they have done this several times before. read more
