Waited at the call window to pick up my parcel for at least 25 minutes...They are sure taking their sweet time.

I stopped by around noon to mail some documents, since I was in the area. There was a line, but it moved fast - I only had to wait a couple of minutes. Once it was my turn, the young lady behind the counter was efficient and courteous. She also had a friendly demeanor, which I have never encountered at any U.S. Post Office. I was in and out in less than five minutes! I do not understand the terrible reviews, maybe I got lucky. In fact, my experience today was so pleasant I wish this location was near me. read more

It would be very nice and professional to know that if shipping something to this post office from out of State that this post office is only operable on Saturdays from 9 to 12 when clearly it does not State that when you're at the post office out of state shipping something to this location all it's giving you is an estimated time of 6 PM making you think that the normal operating hours are Possibly to 6 PM.-(10 out of zero.) read more

I made an appointment to come in at 1:30pm and upon showing up I didn't realize I was a whole week early! Lol. The lady at the passport section-off was kind enough to let me submit my application even though I wasn't scheduled and because she didn't have anyone on the list. My package was transferred from UPS to this post office to be delivered. That was the biggest mistake!!! My address is 334 and my package was delivered at the door to 326. This post office location is known to misdeliver regular mail. Someone needs to get to that location and clean it up. read more

This is the USPS. So, expectations should be properly set before you venture in to take care of whatever postal needs you may have. As with any USPS location, no one working there seems to ever have a sense of urgency. It may seem like the clock ticks faster in the virtual time warp of governmental inefficiency. But it doesn't. It just seems that way because everyone is just moving slower! lol And there is almost always a pretty long line at this location. I understand that it may not be an exciting venue for an employee. Trust me, it's not that exciting from the consumer side either. It would however be more palatable if the line were to move a little quicker. The postal workers are usually friendly enough. It would be nice to once in awhile see some speed when there is a line out the door. Just saying! Be sure to allow time to get it done. And if at all possible, remember that almost everything now can be handled at the automated machine in the lobby. The line wouldn't be as long if those patrons only requiring postage used this option. Leaving in-person service for those that require a live body to complete the transaction. read more

Mail carriers change a lot and put mail in the wrong boxes very frequently, especially at Apts in the area. I have missed important mail which likely went in someone else's box but was kept by them or thrown away. Very concerning. read more

I don't normally do this but I found the person I dealt with today to be extremely rude and in dire need of retirement or an change in attitude. First off, I was standing behind a lady that was waiting on the post office worker. We were both waiting on mail. The worker halfway opened the door and gave the lady her mail and proceeded to immediately close the door without ever checking to see if there was anyone else in need of help. The lady ahead of me even looked at me and couldn't believe the worker. She pressed the bell for me so that I can be assisted. The worker opened the door with this look on her face as if she was annoyed. I told her that I needed to pick up my mail and she asked if I had a lock change. I told her that I didn't know but I was waiting on a key and she cut me off to tell me that it was a lock change. She then asked if I had id and if the address was the same to which I replied with no. I handed her my id and she goes away for about a minute to bring me back 1 letter. I started to ask her the ETA of the key to the mailbox but she immediately cut me off to tell me that they're working on it and when it's ready they'd give me a call. She had an attitude during the entire exchange and wore her face which such annoyance. I've been here before but my prior exchanges have been fine. If you are annoyed to conduct customer service or do your job then either retire or find something else to do with your life. Perhaps even get a new face so as to not look annoyed at doing what you're paid to do.... read more

You know, I'm honesty laughing because 1 star isn't even close to what I'd even rate this place. I've never had problems with USPS before so I was damn near surprised about how bad the services were. I'm even more shocked that this office is still open by how they run things. My package that I ordered for Black Friday was supposed to be delivered WEDNESDAY (November 28) and it has yet to be in my hands. I've called multiple times to try and find out where it is and no one ever answers the phone. My calls have either been ignored or placed on hold prior to even talking to anyone. I had to physically come in the other day and they still couldn't tell me where it was. It has been 5 days and I have still yet to get the thing. However, the single most funniest thing I've ever heard was a customer in front of me saying that everyone at this location are rude. It's amazing how accurate that is. read more

This has got to be the worst post office I've ever dealt with. They are slow, inept and basically exist in a world of their own. I've received 2 notices on a registered letter, with postage due? Is that even possible. BTW, the postage is 4 cents. I went on line, as per the instructions on the pink notice, and scheduled a re-delivery for 2 days later, thinking that would give the mail man time to get the notice and bring it back out. The notice only had a first initial and last name. There happens to be more than 1 person, at this address with the same first initial and last name??? There was no info as to who the letter was from. How do I know I even want to pay postage on a letter, that I don't even know the sender. I did however, fill out the pink notice, with the 4 cents attached, and taped it to my front door. Guess what??? The mailman took the pink notice and the 4 cents, and , you guessed it, did NOT leave the letter. I tried calling the PO, but both phone numbers listed, were disconnected. And they wonder why they loose money, every year. I use the USPS as little as possible. I pay all my bills online, do all my correspondence by email and if I have a package to mail, I use FedEx. Our tax dollars at work. What a joke!!! Perhaps, President-elect Trump will abolish the whole department. I would certainly vote for it!! read more

I would put a zero if I could!!! on August 23,2018 I received an open packaged, kelp calling the local post office never answered, today I called again and after waiting on the line for about 40 min a lady by the name of Jessica answered and I explained the situation and all she told me was that , this happens all the time, I then told her I'm not worried about what happens all the time I'm worried about solving my problem, that they should have notice that the packaged was open because they have to scan them at the time of delivery and all she said well there is nothing we can do about it contact your sender read more

Would give zero stars if I could. This place should really be closed down. In over 10 years of dealing with this location they were ONLY professional right before the government made sure most if not all USPS locations were not going to closed or have staff cuts. From losing packages, to not having employees there for passport appointments to simply not delivering mail because they don't feel like it. I have delt with it all. The most recent issue is they didn't deliver a certified letter FOR A MONTH!! Yes I declined two day shipping because NORMAL delivery time was ok but after 30 days of not hearing anything I called the organization only to find out they never got the letter. Put in the tracking number only to see that every other day for the past 30 days the letter has gone out with a carrier but deliver was delayed no reason given. Friday I submit an investigation request, magically the following Monday the letter is FINALLY delivered. Why not deliver a letter for actually 32 days when your entire job is to deliver mail? In my investigation request I asked that someone tell me why it was not delivered and the voicemail that I got minutes before they closed was simply the letter was delivered today if you need anything else call us. I will never understand this place. They care when they think they will lose their jobs but not a second after that concern is gone. Dear USPS shut this place down or fix it in it's current state its a waste of taxpayers money. read more
