In fact, it's usually a stressful game attempting to gather all of the items I need before my turn at the counter only to find I've forgotten a component or was overall ill informed, replayed over and over and over again. My previous USPS was incredibly accommodating in these moments, providing the proper box or labeling etc, at no charge, so I was a little nervous to adopt a new USPS when moving to Cypress. While the holiday season brings nothing short of a stressful few months for anyone working or visiting this spot, the crew here has been surprising patient. Don't get me wrong, they're not "nice", but they're patient. They will help you out, they will give you the correct information to get the job done. Will any anxious person still feel like they're being an inconvenience, no matter how prepared they arrive? Yes. However, I look at that as part of the game. Not good, not bad, and most importantly, they get the job done.

Can I in any way give negative stars?…read more I had to go to the post office recently to mail a few things that my local postal employee would not pick up: some recycled ink jet cartridges being returned in a manufacturer-stamped and labeled envelope along with some Christmas cards (yes, I still do those). This place is a pig sty. --The outdoor mailboxes have been removed due to theft. --There are missing handles on doors for entrance/exit. Push on the door's glass to get in or out. --Filthy. Absolutely filthy. I felt like I needed to take a bath in sanitizer after I Ieft. --Big sign 2 weeks prior to Christmas: OUT OF CHRISTMAS STAMPS. Weird, since last year, my Christmas stamps were printed from the kiosk. Is it not able to do that any more?? --Heard one of the employees, in my brief period of time inside this rat hole, berating one of the customers for some unspecified reason. This is one place that reminds me of a quote that Charles Grodin said in the movie "Dave": "If I ran MY business like THIS business, I'd be OUT of business." Yeah, the USPS needs to be out of business. It's horrible and getting worse progressively every day. Read recent news reports of the sorting facilities in this area that have lost or not delivered packages or envelopes from over 2 months ago. No wonder so many people pay their bills online. Why would you, in your right mind, really trust the USPS for to deliver anything of importance? Go ahead, nod your head up and down because you know precisely what I'm talking about.

Like all post offices you may have to wait in line but my waits have never been more than 5 minutes and like I said they have been friendly and professional. They also have a self service machine in the lobby. The only complaint is that they have had problems over the past several years with thieves stealing the large outdoor mail box with its own drive thru lane. That's sad and it's too bad that the bad guys get away with that. It amazes me that people would steal a mail box especially the extra large ones that have been outside here. Currently there is no box so you have to walk inside to mail something.

The few times before that though like about five times in a row it didn't work. Also lots of times they don't have the boxes stocked Just a really poor run store. Management take pride in your post office. The windows are always dirty. Also for some reason all the post office is switched out their old self-service kiosks with these new ones and let me tell you what the new ones suck. They are extremely slow, they are extremely slow to touch response, half the time the credit card readers don't work. Just a really bad upgrade if you ask me. I really think they should take a little more pride at this location, keep boxes start, make sure your kiosk are working, And lastly keep the windows clean. Thanks
