Absolute nightmare at the Smoky Hill USPS. I had a confirmed redelivery request, yet my package…read morenever showed. I made two attempts to pick up the package at the designated blue door area. Both days the clerk refused to provide assistance and both days she said service area was closed--even though the post office was open and customers were in queue!!! On the 2nd day, when I asked for assistance and clarification for why the pickup service (blue door) was closed--it was only 930am... the same clerk walked through the blue door (pick up area) and CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY FACE AND WALKED AWAY! No signs indicated package pickup was not open, no courtesy, just attitude. What should've been a 5‑minute pickup turned into over an hour in the general line. People have bad days. Holiday rush or not, this level of rudeness and disregard is disgusting and unacceptable. I hate even giving 1 star.

My daughters and I are able to travel the world!…read more After several scheduled appointments at the Longmont location, I was disappointed and worried about getting our documents in time for our trip out of the country come March 2022. But after one attempt we finally got an appointment at the Lyons Post Office and about 7 weeks later we got our passports! I highly recommend and most of it is required but have ALL your paperwork ready when you make your appointment. Birth certificates for all along with with a picture ID and a completed passport application is a must. I have full custody of my 2 daughters so I had to provide a court order copy. Otherwise both biological parents have to be present and sign for minor children. The Lyons Post Office was clean and no busy at all. They also offer the passport photo taking so no need to worry about that! For 3 passports, it was less than $400!

Some are awful. Some are not so much. They are all pretty equally dark and old world because there is literally no reason for them to be fancy. They are functional government buildings. What makes these buildings 1 star or 5 star worthy are the PEOPLE! The employees here at this USPO have consistently been helpful, friendly, and genuinely downright great people to do business with. They do it with a smile. They are kind when people like me have no idea what they're really wanting to do or how to go about it with all of the different colored slips and services you can get or do. One employee has even gone to the extent of advising me that my passport renewal application was going to be rejected because I used blue ink instead of black ink and to fix it before I wasted my time and money. He knew this from working at the passport agency in the past. He could've been silent. He could've just done his job, shipped my papers, and generated more business when I came back weeks later to do it again. No, this man went out of his way to help me as a person. This, these good people, these are what make or break a business or service of any kind. These people here at this post office, they are kind. 5 stars, hands down.

Been coming here so many times to send care packages and documents to my son. The associate today…read morehad no experience with shipping global express international so she called for backup. I asked for Michelle and she was there so she helped me. We have experience with this type of shipping so we were fine. And then the priority mail international. She gave me more information and that helps as I can be more prepared when I come. I also obtained more shipping labels and envelopes so I can be prepared for the next trip. The price was ok. I mean compared to purchasing an airline ticket it works :)
