New owner, but decided to give them a try. After paying for a package to be mailed I looked at my receipt and noticed it was for the wrong package. Brought it to the attention of the owner who, instead of apologizing, said "I wish you had noticed this sooner, now I have to give you a discount." (How could I have caught it before seeing the receipt?) As I was walking out with my new receipt she said loudly in front of other customers, "I refunded you some because it was for a different amount. It's ok, WE'LL just EAT it." Um, not my fault you made a mistake and not sure why it was my responsibility to know you overcharged me before you gave me the receipt. It's too bad, been coming here for years but won't be back. Your mistake took up more of my time, which was fine, mistakes happen, but the rudeness was totally unnecessary. Wish I hadn't put money in your tip jar. read more

I always dreaded going to the post office. Lines are long, they are always closed because they are at lunch, poor customer service! I went to the A+ Mailroom for the 3rd time and what a difference! I have been here twice. It is conveniently located, tidy, and has a great selection of envelopes, bubble mailers, boxes, tape, etc. The customer service is excellent. The guy who works there does not hesitate to provide a label or extra tape when necessary. When I was there a second time, there was a couple scrambling to finish up some paperwork for a passport, but the UPS guy came for the noon pickup and could not wait for them to finish their paperwork, and then left. The shop owner let the couple have all the copies and envelopes he had provided them for free, then gave them directions to a nearby place that had a later UPS pickup time. THAT is the sort of personal, generous customer service that will make this my go-to mailing place. read more

Great spot for all sorts of needs. The guy who runs the place is always very friendly and very fair. I generally just need to drop off a package to ship (already boxed, with a label) and he's always happy to help. He's also helped me out packaging and shipping things and he does a much better job and seems to care a lot more than the UPS/FedEx store people. He even helped us out with bulk mail for our wedding invites and was able to save us a ton of time! Let's keep the local guy in business, go see them for your postage needs! read more

I recently went back to this business to make use of the copy machine they have there, I used to go to this business all the time because I used to live in that area and sometimes it was easier than making a trip to the post office, however, I was not impressed with my recent visit, the owner, Steve, seemed a bit unprofessional, more interested in talking to me about my car than running his own business and furthermore charged me $3.00 for ten flimsy copies of paper! read more

I shall never use his services again. I showed up to the store to ship some items to New Hampshire. I snagged a 6" x 6" x 6" box, took it to my car and packed it up nicely with my own packaging. $1.80 for the box, that's fair, it's what I needed. But when I got the register, he gave me a total of $17.80 which I was unhappy with, but I was there with a packed box ready to ship and just paid the man. I get a phone call from the receiver telling me it landed safe and sound, but it took a entire week to get there. He informs my I overpaid to send it to him, I could have sent it cheaper with a flat rate box from the post office. I told him I bit the bullet for convenience, but $15.85 was quite steep for the $5 worth of items I sent him. He then informed me that the box postage amount says $10.81 a $5.04 difference between what I paid. I called the store and asked about the 33% difference in what he paid and what he charged me. He told him because he's not the post office or one of the shipping companies, he charges considerably more for his time, labor and overhead costs. What time and labor? I packaged the contents myself, I paid $5 for your time at the register? I don't mind paying more to help out a local business, and I understand overhead, but that's not what it states on the receipt. Postage $15.85, Retail - $1.80, Tax - $0.15 = $17.80. I don't see anything that mentions your time, labor or overhead costs. You lied to me, you told me I was paying almost $16 for postage, not $11 for postage and $5 for your fees. I don't like liars, plain and simple. read more
