I only needed something printed from email so she only charged me a dollar. I was surprised at the low price and gave her another dollar as a tip. I have local activist friends who distribute a lot of flyers, and advised that I would recommend their business. Today I needed a similar printing done and returned, expecting the same level of professionalism. The only employee working was a young guy to whom I explained what I needed and my previous visit. He said that I needed to come back at 5pm--their closing time--as he was the only employee working. He then said he would (grudgingly) assist with the 3 minute task, but not for less than $35 (!!!). When I told him of what I was charged previously for the same thing, he said that was wrong; so basically saying I'm lying while simultaneously lying about the cost himself. He also claimed to be the "manager", which is hard to believe, unless he's related to the owner-- but obviously not hired on merit. I went to the UPS store further down, and had a friendly 3 minute interaction with their pleasant professional clerk. I was charged $2.80. I wish I had gotten the name of the previous helpful employee to specifically recommend (only) her. If you need printing services, maybe check out the staffing on that day by calling ahead, but for other services, maybe see if the UPS store can assist you better. The disparity between the level of customer service of the two encounters is really a shame. It only takes one smug, dishonest worker to ruin a great first impression.

I've counted on them on multiple occasions, most recently for my artwork I sold as a vendor at my booth at Goldens in Golden. My account manager was Tina, who was so helpful, accommodating, and patient. I had a little health emergency in the middle of the week I promised my deliverables, and she bent over backwards to help me out, working alongside me with another vendor I was working with to get my products finished and completed for my deadline. On top of all that, their paper recommendations were excellent and the printing quality was top notch. Their pricing is competitive and I love that I can personally pick it up, see proofs, and talk to a human being and not a chat bot. AND, there are dogs to pet when you go in. So, DUH.     Today I really needed to get some boxes shipped…read more As soon as I walked in a very nice lady Karen helped me, She was so professional and kind and patient, She helped me get the boxes taped and shipped off She was very patient and very gentle with office supplies, As she was wrapping up helping me she let me know one of my boxes was to go to the post office and she taped it and helped her finish my visit, very helpful.     This was probably the worst service I've ever had at a FedEx. Been doing business with them for a…read morelong time. I emailed the labels for my packages to their locations email address. The person, Lanie was either too new or wasn't properly trained. She kept making demands at me on how I needed to email the labels to her. I've been doing this a long time and I follow the same procedure. She told me I sent her a link. So I sent her the exact copy with a clickable FedEx link that said print labels. She couldn't find it and I had to show her. After clicking it, she then tried to print the labels first from the label printer. The first one came out normal and the second was in landscape. So she tried again and printed the next one portrait and it was far too big for the page to fit in a sleeve. She then acted like those were the only 2 and kept arguing with me there weren't 4 to print. There were 3 other employees there, 2 guys and 1 woman. She was back there gossiping while Lanie was struggling. I called to one of the male employees and asked for help. Lanie then barked at me she didn't need help she knew how to print a label. But she did need help and no one was offering it. The kid walked away probably because he didn't want any backlash from her. Finally the manager came up and helped her. She didn't have a word about Lanies behavior nor did she apologize to me for my awful experience. Now I don't know if it's because this employees age or just bad management? But Lanie didn't seem happy period. After the manager walked away another customer came in and one of the other white guys walked up and told me to move the sleeves so he could help that person. I'm looking around like why are these people telling me to do their job?! Lanie then tells him nothing needs to be moved. She then gives me the sleeves telling me to put them on my packages which clearly needed to be taped up. She then asks the other person if she can help her before taping and labeling my packages. Lanie also asked me if I needed a receipt which I did but also tries to help new customers the same time. I'm fed up and I tell the manager I have a plane to catch and I need someone to finish labeling my packages. Then finally emergence set in and they got to it. I'm really hoping I get my packages and they arrive undamaged. This was a nightmare. Next time I will travel farther to another FedEx.
