These young ladys are great examples of the staff you can depend on at every shipping,copying need. to put it in the simplest terms, these young ladys Jaylyn and Kaitlyn critically solidify the best examples of there jobs. moreover I can say that they did not hesitate to go over and above to help my last minute office needs. You will not find anywhere in Denver that can even come close to this store and the amazing staff. Value severely lacking. Priced my exact box size and weight exactly with UPS prior to going to this place. UPS said $34 and this place was double at $67. I realize you have to add some as a franchise and this is not a real company owned "UPS Store" but this is ridiculous gouging. Won't use this location again. read more

Extremely inappropriate interactions with the customers. Rude, inconsiderate, slow, unknowledgeable, argumentative, hostile and combative. I dropped a bag off from Bounce for a few hours after a layover at Denver airport to go to the Botanical Gardens. No one knew how to check it in or out. I had to catch a bus and the black lady in charge did not know how to check it out. In spite of it being pre-paid would not let me get my bag until their scanner which "wasn't working" was satisfied on their end to meet their needs even though it could be done after I left using my receipt. I told them I had to catch the bus can I please have my bag. And the black lady screeched at me roaring through the place, "she was banging on the door this morning!" I said, was I? A known lie, I simply knocked a lady of slight build at 7:59am. As all I had to do was drop off a bag. It was a horrible process. Do not encounter these crazy ladies for any serious needs, untrustworthy as well for handling luggage. I would not trust them not to steal due to the hostility and inappropriate, unexpected behavior. read more

I always have great service here but today was extra good! I went I to drop off a pre-labeled UPS package, and expected to just walk in and walk out. Instead I was greeted by a joke I missed but laughter and a smile. I love walking into places where people are having a good day, it really changes the atmosphere of everything. I will rate this location of The UPS Store-700 North Colorado Blvd.-2 stars because of my unpleasant interaction with Pricilla. I came in to have documents verified by a notary for my employer. My employer gave specific instructions on how the form is to be completed and even provided an instruction letter to those assisting. Pricilla stated the form provided by the employer was filled out incorrectly and that she would have to complete the form correctly. I stated that it was not necessary and once again offered the instructions provided by my employer. Pricilla became very aggressive and responded that she does this every day and that she is the only one in Denver that does this. I knew that was untrue. I responded to Pricilla that she did not have to be rude. Pricilla responded that if she could not complete her processes I could find services elsewhere. No one should be bullied into receiving, accepting service. Pricilla may be right that the form was incorrectly filled out by my employer and that what she is advocating for is correct. But it is how you go about relaying processes is key in good customer service. There is no need for aggressive dialog. Pricilla is incorrect that she is the only person in Denver that offers this service. And yes, if I did not want her to complete her processes that I could take my business elsewhere. But should I? My suggestion is for management to revisit training in how to positively interact with customers in relaying proper protocols/procedures when customers are in disagreement. It is not about being right. It is about relaying the information in a calm manner and the reasons for actions being taken. There is no need for rude, aggressive behavior. Why would anyone think to look at reviews for The UPS Store? I didn't. But, here I am writing one. I have frequented this store for years, from getting copies to shipping packages. I have had a pretty great experiences to be sure when pondering the friendliness and efficiency. I have never had a problem with anything I've sent. But I choose to never go back to this one. A UPS Store grift? Read on. Upon taking items for return from Zappos, who absorbs the shipping costs and provides a label, it was explained to me I'd have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to tape the box closed. Okay. I now know that someone will charge for that. I will make sure it is taped shut for a myriad of reasons, namely that crime is up. But the woman explained to me that if I donate to the plastic box on the front counter for some promise to "feed the kids" with cash, even if just a penny, she would tape it shut for me for the penny. Hahahahahahaha. Who has a penny on them these days? I have no doubt that she was pocketing that money. It was stuffed with dollar bills. Oh boy. If you go here or any shipping store for the matter, and don't appreciate being grifted, make sure you tape your box shut because an unscrupulous actor/actress may attempt to charge you $5 to tape your box shut or implore you to give a .01 to, "feed the kids." UPS is not the right company to deliver anything people please listen to me they are other companies like Amazon FedEx that they are 100 times better than UPS. Not sure what happened to the lack of customer service here but man am I disappointed. They said they emailed me to let me know my PO Box was due for payment. (Checked and no emails) they said they called (checked my phone and voice mails, no voice mails) We were moving from California to Colorado and I thought I could have easily missed something. But nada. They sent all of my mail back to sender. Checks and important documentation sent back. You called me before and I would always call back. This time you lied and then closed my box. It's all good. I no longer have to drive 45 minutes to get my mail. But your attitude today was unnecessary and I get it... wearing the mask can make you a real b**ch but you don't have to lie. Went to have a document notarized, which is typically a $5 fee. Was charged an additional $25 convenience fee for having this done on a Sunday. Store manager stated this was to cover employee overtime. Had no choice but to pay it. Quite a scam! read more

I live in NJ and needed to set up a mailbox in Colorado. I was lucky enough & fortunate enough to have Jessi help me. It was a bit of a stressful process but Jessi made sure that everything I needed was complete. She makes you feel like you are her only customer. She takes the time to help you and makes you feel like your situation matters. Her customer service is IMPECCABLE!! She confirmed every piece of mail, updates & kept me in the loop every step of the way. She speaks to you like a regular person and is so genuine and easy to talk to. After I paid the lady said I was "good to go" obviously she packed it in a bag because when the shoes were received the shoe box was completely damaged and I lost money. I had my engagement ring / mother's wedding band stolen. Unfortunately, I never received any tracking notification updates which led me to believe it never left this store location. Someone at this UPS store was greedy and took something that was NOT theirs to take. I will never support or return to this store again. Ship from here. Other places will tell you the more expensive price for UPS shipping because they add their own charges. I visited a couple of the "other" mail stores and they quoted me double what The UPS Store charged. I like to pride myself on being an informed consumer, as well as, a bargain finder. Each time I come here, I am treated to friendly, professional and efficient service. I normally pre-package my shipments but this past time I had no choice but to hand over a heavy fragile item without a box or so much as one styrofoam peanut to protect it. The package arrived in perfect condition. Had the recipient of my package been able to wait a week, the shipping cost would have been $20 for an 18x18x8 box. Unfortunately, it needed to get there the next day. The cost was substantially more and the nice lady behind the counter gave me a Frequent Shipper 10% discount to help ease my pocketbook's pain. There is a UPS Store closer to my house but I try to ship from this location whenever possible. It's worth the extra drive for such excellent customer service. read more

This store is not convenient to where I live, but I still go here because as far as I am concerned, it is the *best* UPS around. I am always greeted with a smile and super friendly/quick service. I have been to several other UPS stores around Denver, and none of them compare to this location. Like other reviews state, they are there to help you package your items and always seem to have enough personnel that you're never waiting long. (or at all!) Lastly, they go above & beyond - just tonight I had a package arrive 20 minutes before they closed. It needed refrigeration, so they called me to tell me it had arrived and that they could provide safe-keeping at a restaurant next door for me to pick it up whenever I could. Walked in at 5:08pm, rush hour. Wait time: 3 seconds. There was 1 guy in front of me and he just dropped off a package. Was asked how I could be helped, and I told them that I somehow bungled the return address self-stick label in the plastic cover, which was hanging on by a dubious 1-inch strip of sticky stuff. No problem for the UPS crew...they handily dispatched the suffering envelope, and packed my shipping label neatly in another self-stick envelope which was then affixed to my package. Receipt with tracking # handed to me and I was out the door. Elapsed time: about 90 seconds. Now *that's* service. Normally, I hate UPS -- they seem overpriced for package shipping, and the delivery drivers don't even seem capable of reading shipping directions like "leave package at office, not in my damn hallway where anyone I don't know could steal it" (my neighborhood one excels at fail, dropping off 4 packages out of 5 in the last month and a half at my door -- big ones)...but this *store*...there's nothing to complain about here. Great store. I have been getting my mail there for over 10 years. Dawn took over the store several years ago and the service has gotten even better. They accept mail from any carrier unlike USPS. 24 hour access for box items. Staff is always great to me. Most have bothered to know my name and greet me every time I enter the store. . If I have a package too large to fit in my box they hold it in back and when I demonstrate my package note they take the 5 seconds while waiting on a customer to fill out a form or something. Multitasking at its best. Never see that at the post office. When busy they really hustle to get customers take care of. A very different experience from the post office. Lines are no where nears as bad as the post office. If you value your time this is a great place to ship from. They also do notary, fax, and copy services. They are willing to ship and package just about anything. I have seen motorcycles shipped there. Good hours of operation and are even open Sunday (beat that post office). A+ read more

Stay away from this Rip Off UPS Center. This past Friday afternoon I took an envelope, maybe 12" x 8", with a small box inside and wanted to have it delivered in upstate New York by Monday afternoon. The envelope weighed less that one pound and I was told that it would cost $81.00 for a Monday afternoon delivery. Well no way to that one. So I mailed the same package this morning (Monday) from my work mailroom and it is going to be delivered by Wednesday afternoon by USPS Priority Mail for $7.99. I have always thought that any UPS shipping store had all the delivery options available, FedEx, UPS and USPS.
