All of the poor reviews for this location are literally 4-6 years old. To speak to the current experience: the staff here are extremely professional, prompt, and organized. I've really appreciated the service they provide and would highly recommend if you need to send or receive packages here. They can also print documents if you need that. I feel safer accepting packages here than leaving them on an unprotected doorstep, as many couriers seem want to do. Package theft is no longer an issue. read more

This is mmy go to mail store. Every time I've been in the service has beEn so nice! I never have had to wait. I like the birds they have too

It has taken about 6 days to get a hold of a package that should have been delivered Christmas Eve. I have been into the store every day for the last three days and everyday the same very unpleasant employee tells me that they still haven't gotten their truck and my package is still no where to be found. The older lady behind the desk was very short and unhelpful and continually told me that "they just don't have it" and to come back the next day. When I called this morning to once again check on my package, I was asked by someone who identified themselves as the owner for a tracking number. As I was attempting to locate said tracking number I was telling him about my experience so far with this company. I was clearly angry, and his reaction was to talk over me and again start telling me that "they aren't ups" and he "doesn't know." And started telling me to just call UPS instead, literally as I was giving him my tracking number. I continued to try to give my tracking number and was HUNG UP ON!!! I've had many great experiences working with the folks at Pakmail. They're open and honest about the various mailing options -- and they say up-front that if you're using the U.S. postal service option, you can take it the local post office and pay a lower rate there. I appreciate a 1-stop shop for all my shipping/receiving needs. read more

Nice mail store in the University district. The workers are nice and helpful. I've had a box here for about a year now, and I can always count on them to get the job done. Parking here is not the easiest. At certain times of the day it can take a few minutes to get out. read more

Been there twice now to try and mail something. The sign says they open at "9:00-ish" which is frustrating since most people trying to mail something are trying to get it done at a specific time. I stood both times and waited until 9:30 with no luck. Saw them lose 3 additional customers during that time too. Bummer, hope they can get their act together- or just open at 10:00... read more

The worst customer experience I've ever had!!!! My mother lived outside of Denver, CO and passed away this summer. I paid them over $1,200 to pack and ship 5 boxes with items from my mother's estate. One of the items was a rare print of Winston Churchill that I insured for $2,000. I picked up the print from a Fedex Store near my house in Arlington, VA on 8.11.17. The frame was destroyed. I called Pak mail on 8.12.17 and they said they would file the claim with Fedex. They asked me for pictures of the damage and a certified estimate to get it fixed. I sent them 7 pictures and the estimate of $1,359.9 the same day. On 8.23.17 Pak mail sent me a message saying they should have a resolution in the next 5-7 days. On 9.5.17 I sent them a message asking for the status. On 9,12.17 Pak mail said FedEx reopened the claim and they then asked if I still had the damaged box. I didn't have the box. They should have told me this back on 8.12.17 and not a month later. I've called them several times asking to get paid. They said they are waiting on Fedex. I asked them to pay me themselves and for them to deal with Fedex since they took money from me to mail and insure the print in the first place. I called back again on 11.9.17 and they hung up the phone on me when I got upset about them continuing to say they are waiting for Fedex. This has been a nightmare experience. I've contacted FEDEX and am considering legal action. read more

Oh, I was re-reading my reviews, and I remembered that I have since been here and they were nicer to me. That seemed worth saying.

A friend of mine was shipping me something that I could only find in Denver, so he graciously picked it up and took it to PakMail to be packed and sent. They told him on 10/2 that it would go out the next day via FedEx ground. He sends me tracking info and receipt and after checking fedex.com and calling FedEx they have no record of receiving it. I call PakMail on 10/7 (the day I was scheduled to receive it) and Margot is like, "Oh yeah it is right here, I'm looking right at it. We are waiting on a box to put it in." To which I reply,ohkay, well you told my friend it was going out the next day and that was 5 days ago, so are you going to expedite the shipping or what? Why did no one call? You have both our phone numbers. If he had been told it was a 4 day wait to get it out, he would have taken it elsewhere because it is a time-sensitive item...." to which Margo replies "Let me check and see what we can do and I'll call you back". No call back. No expediting. Nothing. In total it cost me $262.81 to receive my package 4 days late, so we aren't talking about a $20 package here. I'll be telling my friend to contest this with his credit card company. This complete ineptness is complete bullshit. read more

This is the worst store I've ever been to. They have awful customer service and were very unappreciative of any business that came through the door. I only had to drop off one package and ended up having three people that were in line behind me served first and when I was finally served I was treated like a burden. Do not spend your money here give it to people who actually appreciate it :). read more

Went here today to ship a small item of clothing (smaller and lighter than your average tshirt) and was told I had to use one of their largest sizes of padded envelopes. I use to work in a shipping center similar to this one, so I actually know the rules regarding packaging and postage (unlike probably most of their clientele), and I know this was definitely overkill. Between the cost of the envelope and shipping, I ended up paying at least a couple dollars more than necessary. The cost to me was negligible and I was on a tight schedule so didn't make any fuss, but if they're doing this with small orders, they're probably doing it on large ones too. I would recommend skipping this place and just going to the Mail Station on 30th instead. That's certainly what I'm going to do from now on. read more

I had an absolutely GREAT experience at Pak Mail. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave me options about how to send things the most economical way. I practically set up my home office in there as I was traveling and trying to get things shipped home for my DU senior daughter. I was also able to use their internet to make some returns. The staff didn't rush me out. They seemed to value and appreciate my business. I would definitely use them for all of my shipping needs. read more

I had never been to a PakMail before my experience here...and it's been a good one. Now that I live out of town, I'm hoping lightning can strike twice and I can find someone like these guys. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to help me. I went in to ship an overnight package, only to find out that Fedex and UPS had already picked up today. One of the Pakmail employees ran out the back door and caught the UPS driver. The UPS driver was grumpy about staying late, but the Pakmail staff bribed him with candy while he waited for my package.
