This is more a review of UPS rather than this particular location ( the guys that work here are always great btw). I needed to send my office keys from Denver to SF. I paid $40 bucks for 2nd day air...if it took one day later no big deal. I have never seen such insane logistics...my keys went to California ( So Cal) and than went to Hawaii....like what the Fuck??? Dropped off my package 11/11 and will now hopefully get there 11/15....Maybe UPS should have a 4 day air? Needless to say I think I will use FedEx from now on. read more

This is a very busy location, but the staff is friendly, efficient, and hard-working so things move along rapidly. I have done some shipping here, but most frequently I check my friend's mailbox and/or pick up her packages. This store has a very good system for tracking received packages. The customer receives an electronic notice when an item arrives, each package gets a large label with the box number, and retrieving an item when you arrive at the store is straightforward. The only downside of this location is the cramped and very busy parking lot. However, there is also an underground parking garage with a convenient staircase that comes up right next to the UPS Store entrance. read more

Yesterday I went to the UPS store on 191 University in Cherry Creek with 5 packages to return. Employees Jasmine and Becca were extremely helpful and kind. I was flustered when I came in and they were both very calm despite the long line behind me. It was Jasmine's first day and she seemed to be picking up on how to do her job quickly! I used this UPS store to drop off some merchandise for return to Amazon. The store was clean and well staffed and they handled me immediately and I was out the door in 90 seconds. I know it's off season, and that things will get crazy during the holidays, but I liked what I saw so I will definitely use them again. The only drawback is getting in and out of that parking area. It is strange to write a review about a UPS store which primarily has one function, that is, to receive packages and get them delivered. The store has adequate parking and is off a main street. Therefore, it easy to get to if you are in the area. It appears that they could use some additional employees since there was not enough staff to take care of customers when I was in the store. The process of printing a label and printing a receipt for a package was quick, efficient, and got me in and out in rapid time. The store could've been cleaner but it is a small bone to pick. read more

The store was closed due to an internet outage and the door was locked. I had a notary appointment (which does not require internet) in order to sign house closing documents. The manager was extremely rude and said that the appointments made online were not valid and just intended to help people track their own time. Horrible experience, will not be back. read more

There are several options for a UPS store in the Cherry Creek area. I recommend skipping this store. I understand the holidays are a busy time and always take this into account when interacting with businesses. I called this business first and the young man on the phone pushed me off onto the 1-800-UPS phone number. I should have taken that as a warning sign. I was unable to achieve what I needed with the corporate phone line, so I decided to go IN to the store. I was the only person (first person) in line when I arrived at the store: surprising, as it is one week before Christmas. There were at least 5 men working, however, I still waited several minutes to be helped. No problem, I always expect to wait, particularly this time of year. I had already measured and weighed my package, but understand they also have to do this. When the cost came to so much more than what their online quote was, I asked why. Immediately, another man chimed in and was rather rude. As if they were expecting the question (they must have this happen often). He said, "I have no answer for that" What?! What kind of way is that to, 1) do business and 2) treat your customers? The man that was helping me said they have to add extra inches to the measurements so they aren't "charged back". I DO understand that, but I had done that in my measurements. How many "extra inches" are they adding before it becomes outright theft? I said "Should I just go home and mail it from there?" The second man said, "Yes" (rudely"). WOW. Basically, "Go screw yourself. They don't like it when you call them on padding the bill. I waved my hand at the computer and asked the man waiting on me to remove my information from the computer. He hissed at me, "DON'T POINT AT ME!" Seriously, wasn't pointing at anyone. These men were SO READY TO JUMP DOWN MY THROAT. I am not a rude person, quite the opposite. I will not, however, be taken for a ride. One of them told me Im the rudest person he ever met,lol. Son, if Im the rudest person you ever met, you are going to have a VERY hard time in life. I wish you well. I feel badly for people working around the holidays, but please don't take your stress out on the customers. I cannot imagine treating a customer in this way. I will be mailing my packages VIA FedX and USPS. There ARE other UPS stores owned by other franchises, I just have a bad taste in my mouth over this. read more

I drive out of my way to visit the Cherry Creek UPS store. Not because I love UPS so much, but because the people who work here are awesome. Whether it's dropping off an Amazon return or sending a package to Canada, every time I come into this particular UPS store, it's a pleasant experience. They smile, say "hello", and don't rush any of the customers. Quite a change of pace from the USPS or pretty much any other store where people are trying to send or receive packages... which can be stressful! This past visit, I had trouble finding a B.C. zip code and between the guy behind the counter and my smart phone, we were able to figure it out. It took a few minutes and I was getting flustered, but it was NBD to the UPS people. They were even making some jokes and keeping things as fun as possible in a sticky situation. I also love that there's free parking outside and underground at this shopping center. That also makes for easy ins and outs when running errands. Between the convenience and the service, I'm a return customer. read more

Charged me $35 to pack and ship a small box, didn't deliver the package as promised. When I called to inquire they said they'd contacted the addressee. They hadn't. The persons working at this store could care less. On a different transaction, I'm still waiting after 5 days for a package to be re-delivered to my home - despite giving instructions via ups.com and on the slip stuck on the door. They give good service, however, it's super annoying that they are supposed to open at 8:00am during the week, which is when I get there, and whoever opens is always late. 9 times out of 10 it will not be open. Update, one week later, I'm here again at 8:00, opening time, and it's 8:15am, and still not open!! I need to find a new UPS store. read more

I post and receive mail for a few businesses and have been using thIs UPS store for a couple of years now. In general, their service is excellent and staff is friendly and helpful. I agree though with other posters who have complained that the store does not always open on time. There have been a number of recent occasions when I have been to the store shortly past 8:00 am to find a crowd waiting to get in. I'm fortunate to be nearby so stopping in later isn't a big deal but for the more time-constrained, I can see where this is a problem. read more

I just started coming to this store to receive mail, but even before I got here they were super helpful getting me set up with a mailbox. I was out of state and couldn't come in, but I had to put a forward into the post office and Johnny and the team made it super easy for me to set up a box and start getting my mail. I've never had so much fun going to a notary public. This guy has seriously got to be the funniest and most entertaining notary public in Colorado. And I learned, from the other cashier, that Sheldon on Big Bang Theory is a certified notary public. In case you're a Big Bang Theory fan. But not to take away from the fact that this dude knows what he's doing and is friendly, fast and professional. Even promised to put the contract in tomorrow's mail for me and taped up my envelope to make sure it went through the mail okay. Hari, the owner of the UPS store introduced himself and gave me a complimentary can of Red Bull and a keychain. Isn't that sweet? He explained that the Red Bulls were part of some promotion or something but it didn't come off like anything weird or strange was being pushed on me. It was clearly in the context of genuine warmth and hospitality. Hari even told me to be careful since Red Bull is an "energy drink." Can you imagine the cashier at Albertsons doing that? Even at Whole Food they don't come off as genuinely concerned for your well being the way that the dudes at this UPS store did. This place is solid. And one more thing --- I can't believe this is their first Yelp review. That's crazy. They should have a zillion five star reviews like this one but I guess people don't always take the time to give props to the their local notary public even when the props are earned. So if you're reading this and you're in Denver then you should find something that needs to get notarized, drive over to 191 University Blvd, ask for the notary public and find out for yourself!! read more

This is what good customer service looks like. I called an hour prior to closing time needing a photograph enlarged and printed. It was urgent as it was for my father's funeral the following morning. He had me email the file and then tried several things and printed them out to see how they looked, all while remaining on the phone with me. I asked for him to call me back because I could hear how busy they were. Sounds like they all work well as a team down there. In the end, I was very pleased and appreciative for Dave's good nature and resolve to help me out during what is an important and difficult time for my family. I frequent UPS stores around Denver due to business and have even been to a location in Castle Rock a few times. I often have a lot of packages that I'm shipping out, fairly heavy, but it's usually a convenient enough process. There's a difference between a store being accommodating and a store going above and beyond, and THIS particular location always has employees who go above and beyond for me. I never ask for help because quite frankly, I don't need it. But, I have always been offered help when I come in to this store, and it's almost insisted upon. The employees are always so friendly and professional, which is definitely appreciated. Recently I had a rather large project I needed help with, and I knew that I could rely on this store to help me. I've spoken with one of the owners, Dave, over the phone several times to arrange details for my shipment, and he's been nothing but helpful. I deal with a lot of different businesses in my line of work, and to come across someone who is eager to help and happy to do it - well it's just really nice. It goes a long way to provide a service in a professional but friendly and light-hearted manner, and that's what I believe you'll get at this UPS location. read more

I went in and had to print off some posters for work. Dave was so friendly and accommodating, he printed one off to see if I liked the results before printing the entire queue which I thought was cool! Then, I realized I forgot my wallet and instead of holding the print job, he allowed me to take it with me and just asked that I come back and pay them the next day. Needless to say, I was back in there the next day to see Dave's smiling face again. I was so impressed that they allowed me to do that and on top of it, it was a high quality print job that was super quick and easy!
