WOW!!!!!. The USPS "used to be" the safest and trustworthy delivery service. Covid-19 has change the world and with stay at home orders everyone is doing home delivery or a type of delivery service. Their poor service began a few years back when the mail wasn't being delivered, we all would have no mail for a few days or it was delivered to the wrong house, granted we've been meeting our neighbors and it's the same complaint throughout the neighborhood. Ive personally gone down to this PO and spoke with the person at the window (it's always a different person) regarding my package(s) they have LOST and or DELIVERED my package(s) to either the wrong address or it was lost in transit. I don't write reviews very often but felt the incident that occurred today at the Post Office on Crenshaw in Torrance warranted this review. I had used the self service Kiosk to purchase a priority overnight label and then affixed the label to my package. I then walk over to the open door to inquire where overnight priority packages should be placed for mailing. A lady by the name of RayVaughn who I come to find out later is the supervisor responds in the most unpleasant manner, "This package is probably going to be sent back to you..." I'm looking at her in utter confusion waiting for further explanation but none is given. So I asked her why... She then proceeds to answer in the most condescending tone, "You do realize there is no address on your label right?!" I look at the label that the machine had printed and I see that it's incorrect. So I walk back to the kiosk and stuck my hand up the ass of the machine to pull out the correct label that should have been on my package. At this point I'm beyond frustrated because it's like pulling teeth to get any help from the employees at this particular post office. As I'm relabeling my package RayVaughn steps out of her office and I tell her that the machine and surrounding area needs attention because there are incorrect labels in the machine. And like a juvenile, she points fingers and accuses me of throwing the labels on the floor and completely ignores the kiosk. RayVaughn's disdain for her place of employment is apparent in the way she treats her customers and the rest of the staff mimic her unpleasantness. Not sure who's worse the DMVs or this post office. Workers will take their time with everything, could at least have a decent attitude. Every time I've gone to my PO Box there has been someone else's mail from another box. I've gone in 3 times within 2 days for a package I paid express delivery for, to be told it's there but I have to wait until the next day for it to be processed. Okay, I go back now just to be told they've lost my package and will have to call me when it's found. Since my regular postal carrier left (I think she retired) I've had nothing but trouble. I am constantly getting the wrong mail; so often that I refuse to walk down the street to deliver it myself. I have talked to the carriers (never the same person) and they blame it on the sorter. Well hell, they have it in their hand before they deliver it and they can't check to see that they are delivering it to the right house? Lazy, incompetant, uncaring, hate their jobs, I could go on and on. Interestingly, I had someone living here who moved out and she put in a forwarding address online at the Postal Service. Then, an important item of MINE did not get delivered (it had a check in it) and I called the sender and told them I never received it. I figured they'd put a stop payment on the check and send another one. Then today out of the blue, I received an envelope from that company, and inside was the original envelope they mailed to me, and the post office had put a yellow sticker "Undeliverable as Addressed - Unable to Forward." The damn thing was clearly addressed to me. I am attaching a photo of the original window envelope. My name and address had been circled with a black marker (maybe by the carrier?). This same day, I received mail that was clearly addressed to me. Why wasn't that mail also returned? Beats the hell outta me! read more

One thing I dislike about this Post Office is it's very small and only 3 windows i was surprised they actually had 3 people working usually they have only one or two people working. My main gripe are the customers that get to the window and are there for 5 to 10 mins or longer trying to mail something refilling out labels and other stuff or asking tons of questions and changing their mind and refilling out different labels or paperwork never fails everytime i come to this one there is always that one person who holds up the line so basically instead of 3 workers it's like 2 workers. I usually go to the bigger one in Torrance but since it was after work i had a time constraint. Parking here is also bad very small lot and you can park in the center next to it but that gets crowded too and getting in and out of this place is a major pain especially on rush hour time and lunch time and even early morning time. But i always end up coming back here since it's close by. read more

Horrible! A dude chased me out after I already entered my car, just because he "thinks my package are overweight"! They are fucking prepared! If they are overweight just don't send them! And after he weighted all my packages it turns out they are ok! And he feels embarrassed and told me that packages are not suppose to be jiggling! None of you fucking business man! Small and crowded. This is a good example of why people hate going to the post office. They have a tiny parking lot and there is always a line. I recommend using the automated shipping machine to save time and frustration. read more

Not the friendliest bunch, except for the worker on the PO floor. She's really helpful if you're buying stamps or need help with the self service package postage machine. The others are sometimes helpful, but it's hit or miss. Sure you have to wait from time to time, but it's not the fault of the clerks. Not sure about package pick up, but outgoing mail is handled quickly. read more

5 stars for the person at the desk being more alert than I was realizing my package was to be dropped off at ups and not usps. Thankfully she didn't wait til I got to the front of the line but said something as soon as I walked into the post office. This office has lost about 60 percent of my Ebay purchases item in 2013 and the tracking always ...always.... say that it was delivered LOL. All I can do is give them the tracking number and they search their system and it always say its at the other sorting facility and they will send a request to remail it. About 2 of my missing item showed up 6-7 months later. And now 1/21 I have another 2 more item that is also saying its deliverd . And yeah , dont go there during lunch time to get isuue resolve ,the one in charge in not there and no one can really help you. Its funny everyone complains about the Asian lady and I wonder if she knows about this LOL. Nowadays satisfaction of service is key to customer retension .I guess some employee dont care becuase they are about to retire. Next time I am going to suggest to the US ebay seller to not use USPS for my delivery anymore.. 2014 June. Update . So far I am starting to get my mail from Ebay but I was getting a registered delivery lately and my front door was open with a baby gate on and I was the office right next to the door. This post office is fucking horrible. They deliberately told me to wait while they looked for a package, that they misrouted, waited til closing time, and never came back to the door. When I asked and explained very politely to the other two clerks, they both told me to "go home, we're closed" So in closing, fuck these people and their shitty customer service. Use ups. Cheaper, guaranteed delivery (2weeks and counting for a priority mail shipment? Seriously) and at least their customer service reps will hear you out and attempt to do something. I typically avoid the post office altogether but under certain circumstances, I need to stop by in person to handle my business. I've learned over the years that timing is everything. If you show up in the morning when they first show up thinking no one will be there, many other people have that same idea. Trying going later on in the day avoiding lunch hours, essentially times when people have breaks from work. Another trick I learned was instead of waiting in line to speak with someone, they have a kiosk at the entrance of the store that may help you out. Avoid the long lines and learn how to use the kiosk. Other than the long lines, the times that I've actually have been helped by an employee have been a hit or miss. Sometimes I get people that really help me out and are friendly, but at other times I get people who straight up hate their job. It's very inconsistent but this is the closest US Post Office to me. I figured that I don't come here often enough to keep whining about it. Other than that, this is just your standard post office and they should be able to help you in every way they can. read more

I'm just writing as a local person who has to use this post office as it's the one that delivers my mail. In fact, i have had no problems with the staff behind the acrylic, everytime i have went i got smiles and friendly chatter. No attitudes. Been using this place over 20 years. Thats why i give this place a 3 maybe even 4 for the window personnel, although the parking sucks and yes, sometimes when they open, there's only one person. Before i'd see up to 3 people working, but lately post offices are getting cheap and only putting one or two out there, and when that happens, of course they're grumpy because they get freaking disgruntled customers one after another lol. But with that said, there is a problem here. The problem is either the people in the back sorting or receiving packages. For example, a lot of companies use UPS or FEDEX, like amazon, then instead of UPS or FEDEX delivering it, i guess it's cheaper to have USPS deliver it finally to the house. But guess what, my packages have mysteriously dissappeared after they arrive at this post office, or they get delivered to the wrong place. It's happened to me for the 3rd time, and you can't reach anyone by phone as nobody answers any of the phones. I've even tried to call the 1-800 number but only get the same recording to track a package if you have a number. So what used to be the most reliable mail delivery in the world is now iffy if you'd get your package and I always try to pay more so it goes just to UPS or FEDEX. So why do i give them a 3 to 4, well because the front customer support people have always been good to me. I actually have stories of the other post offices in the area, so compared to them the front people here are great. And yes, it's 1 star for whoever is taking the packages, is it the sorters? I doubt it's the mail delivery person, they all seem very nice. Update: I was able to call into this post office's back area to search for a package recently, this is the first time in maybe 3-4 years i was able to reach someone. We were sitting in chairs right in front of the mailbox for 3 hours. Why do they keep logging things as delivered when they aren't? Went to try and find this package and a very large RANITA DAVIS was completely rude. She was so rude that customers in line started speaking for me on my behalf because they were so appalled to witness how she was treating me. The very ghetto, RANITA DAVIS, then started personally attacking other customers in line and then yelled at one, "You're not allowed to record!" The only saving grace of this place is a very kind woman with dark hair who is usually there during the week. She usually helps with mailing packages if you're paying by credit card (i forgot her name but they usually have her in a red vest) super kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help! But other than that steer clear. Always a long line so if you're mailing any packages save yourself some time and a headache by using the kiosk (user friendly) or bring a credit card to pay with so you don't have to wait to get to the counter. On another note (my main complaint): If you move into the neighborhood and this post office handles your mail, GOOD LUCK! Our mail is wrong daily. We live on a two house property and constantly receive both houses mail even though we have two mail boxes in plain sight that are labeled with the addresses of each house. We also receive mail for a house that's 2 streets down from us just because we have the same 2 starting numbers in our address! There's always a new mail carrier so it's hard to pin down who exactly is the culprit. We've spoke to several and always the same response of "not me this isn't my normal route". Which ok fine, but the mail isn't just flying into our mailbox so someone is doing it. The biggest nuisance is our lawn. We just recently laid down new grass seed that is taking root and it's sprouting. But lo and behold to save two seconds of time the mail carriers just stomp right through our lawn instead of walking on the sidewalk. Like hello?!?!?! I don't think people just go around walking straight through strangers lawns and expect them not to get upset. We have a trail of boot marks from the mail carriers (caught it on our ring camera) I mean we can't even walk on our own grass for a while so why in the actual heck would we want strangers to just stomp on through it, guess nobody has manners anymore. I should send them a bill for the patchy lawn that is about to grow in. Overall good luck getting the correct mail, complaints go unanswered, city doesn't seem to care, long lines, rude staff, and lawns are being stomped on. this usps location is great for dropping off/claiming mail or packages and buying mailing supplies. but if you have some kind of a problem that would require you to speak to a torrance usps employee -- hah! think again. case(s) in point -- me and a random lady who needed quick answers. we were directed to this lady and all she said to us was to call a number and someone will assist us. no matter how many times the two of us tried to explain the situation (we each had different problems that we both felt could've been handled right at the office), all the lady would say was to call an 800 number and we'll get the answers we were looking for. again -- this usps is a good place to literally just drop off/claim mail/buy supplies. but if you need any kind of assistance, lots of luck to you. read more

Got an email my Package was "successfully" deliver and was "left" in my "mailbox" on a sunday morning . Since i placed an order on amazon and had the two days delivery. I didn't go out for breakfast so i didn't miss my delivery. But the delivery never happen . I don't know why they would mark my package as deliver when in fact it was never deliver . I have been complaining for 4 years about the mailman delivering the wrong mail to me ! In a 6 day week 4 of those days I receive mail that isn't mine I'm nice enough to go knock on neighbors doors and return their mail but I can't say the same about others getting my mail . This week really took the cake when I received 4 pieces of wrong mail today and 2 of them aren't even on my street !!!! One happened to be a state refund check , I had to google directions to go deliver it. They should be paying me for doing there fu..king job lazy a......!
