Very polite, and professional. Best of all he's FAST and very knowledgeable. Fast as in keeping the line going, but not so quick that he's not friendly nor dismissive to any questions or concerns. He knows what he's doing. He was working alone this day and even had a long line out the door but managed to help everyone in a timely manner. Their business hours is a bit different than most places, but I like how convenient it is for me on a Saturday for my small business, as most places close earlier. Highly recommend Mr. Jay. It's very small here so the line goes outside the usps store. When 5pm hit, one of the girls came outside to make sure no one else tried to get in line. Very unfriendly and not necessarily rude, but when someone says thank you at least acknowledge them. But get it, they're just trying to go home. I'm not sure if the person in the front was new but it literally took over 30min to get out of there. I just needed a label printed. The man handling the front wasn't very friendly either. At all. I usually go to 2 different USPS offices and they are always cordial at least! Not here. Nevertheless, never coming to this location again.

They're also great when it comes to actually being helpful without the condescending, passive aggressive undertones. I've seen some people come with the intent of having something sent via certified mail. The clerks take the time to guide them on what form(s) to fill out and gets them squared away. If you find yourself in this Post Office, be patient and trust that you're in the best hands customer-service wise.

On multiple occasions, she has refused to provide me with a receipt and has complained that generating one is "taking too much of her time." I am simply asking for a receipt for a transaction I completed at the post office, something that should not be treated as an unreasonable request. What makes this especially frustrating is that this has happened more than once. Customers should not feel like they are bothering an employee just by asking for basic documentation of their transactions. I hope management addresses this situation because this kind of attitude creates a very unpleasant experience for customers. USPS should be a place where customers are treated with basic courtesy and professionalism.

When I drove here, it was a weekday morning. There was no issue finding parking, and there was a small line. It was not long before one of the post office workers helped me process my paperwork. She was nice, attentive, and efficient in her service. I wrote a check which went to the Dept. of State, and the service fee for the post office I was able to pay with card. This is one of the better USPS stations that I've been to. And I'm not just saying that because it's my hometown. They are efficient and professional in their service.

He literally looked like he wanted to send me to the back of the line ha. This individual should be fired for how he treats customers. There are tons of reviews on here for this exact guy saying how rude he is, why doesn't management do something about it? If this guy is mad at life, he doesn't need to be taking it out on customers. Unreal. And just to note, I've been using USPS a lot lately, and it appears to me that literally 9 out of 10 USPS employees hate their job and are always very rude to customers. It almost seems like that is a requirement in order to work there. Lol. I came on a Saturday morning to just grab and drop off a form, but I watched as the woman at the counter pointedly ignored an entire line of people standing there waiting for her to start helping them. Even when I went up to ask for the form I needed, and explained they were out, she first did not acknowledge that she had heard me, I repeated myself, and then she began grilling me as to why I needed the form (FFS it is a mail hold form - it serves one single purpose). It is actually exceptional the way in which she ignored absolutely everyone. People like that really make it so much harder to support the post office, and really need to not be the front facing customer service representative.

Found my local Postal Annex and the person on the phone said they do have notary service and that their notary was indeed available. The young lady at the counter examined my document, ID, and fam member's ID and had us sign the document and their customer log. It was quite easy and their costs were fair. Declined their shipping options as FedEx Office in Torrance has a 2day flat rate of $11.90 which I used afterwards. PostalAnnex+'s notary was efficient and kind. She had a few customers in line waiting after me and they were all patient regulars that were familiar with Meena who was working by herself. Location is inside Von's at the Crossroads. On a Saturday morning plenty of spots in the big Crossroads plaza. If I need a document notarized again, I would return to Postal Annex+.
