Parking lot was a zoo. About 12 people in line in front of me. At least it's not hot and unbearable. I will wait patiently. 2 windows open. I've been coming to this post office for years. It was nice to see a familiar face!!! Ok, bye

This is the reason why people don't use USPS. Terrible staff. 11/4 5:30 I walked in to the post office with the PO Box side with 50+ letters on hand, a female staff is holding a board in front of me. We arrived to the bulb mail lockbox at the same time, she slide the board right in front of me. I tried to stop her, she just turn around and said "No, I'm sorry." Obviously she's not sorry, she was happy to make me use the tiny slot mail box outside of the post office and I have to slide my 50+ letters one by one. She didn't offer to take my mails. For private business, her terrible customer service should had her fired long time ago. One bad staff can completely ruined a business.

This place used to be a place where if you saw a mailman near your house during a hot day you offered him or her a cold drink. The service was conservatively well done. Now mailman won't deliver on time, my mailman is on the phone ignoring everyone. I had to scream and wave at dude with earbuds in his ears talking to friend. Guy gives me a damaged package and tells me I must've did it cause there's no way he would've missed a hole punctured in my speaker box. I will refuse packages from USPS until sender uses a different shipper. Lane the post office even told me to basically leave there's nothing they can do... absolutely nothing? Come on Lomita, CA. Office you could do better than that?

This post office is quite small, and best to go during the day around 10am-1pm before the end of the day rush. Location: It is in a plaza so the parking can be a bit tight at times but there is plenty of parking if you go behind the building. Service: I've been there at times during the holiday where the lines get long, and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience especially during the busiest time of year it can be stressful for the employees. I've been to post offices where I am standing in line praying that I don't get certain tellers, almost like Russian roulette! An employee I always see at the window who is always cheerful is Erwin! He is always so helpful, pleasant, and maintains smooth transactions. Overall: It is a post office where the employees seem happy to help!

I swear this post office over charges on packages. This happens often here. Best to go elsewhere.

Very sweet and patient staff. They could use 1 more person to help lighten the work load though. They provide service as quickly as they can

Very polite, and professional. Best of all he's FAST and very knowledgeable. Fast as in keeping the line going, but not so quick that he's not friendly nor dismissive to any questions or concerns. He knows what he's doing. He was working alone this day and even had a long line out the door but managed to help everyone in a timely manner. Their business hours is a bit different than most places, but I like how convenient it is for me on a Saturday for my small business, as most places close earlier. Highly recommend Mr. Jay. Thanks for helping us today with important documents.

It's very small here so the line goes outside the usps store. When 5pm hit, one of the girls came outside to make sure no one else tried to get in line. Very unfriendly and not necessarily rude, but when someone says thank you at least acknowledge them. But get it, they're just trying to go home. I'm not sure if the person in the front was new but it literally took over 30min to get out of there. I just needed a label printed. The man handling the front wasn't very friendly either. At all. I usually go to 2 different USPS offices and they are always cordial at least! Not here. Nevertheless, never coming to this location again.

The post office itself was nice on the outside but inside seemed a bit run down. I had to wait several minutes before anyone saw me. There wasn't anyone working the counter but one elderly man who I can only assume needs better glasses cuz he did not see me at all lol. But it was okay he apologized. When he finally helped me I was out in about 2 minutes. Really hidden location but now I know there's a USPS in the area for my future needs.

I literally was just dropping it off, needing NOTHING from him, but yet he still found a way to be rude to me after he asked if I'd like a receipt and I said yeah. He literally looked like he wanted to send me to the back of the line ha. This individual should be fired for how he treats customers. There are tons of reviews on here for this exact guy saying how rude he is, why doesn't management do something about it? If this guy is mad at life, he doesn't need to be taking it out on customers. Unreal. And just to note, I've been using USPS a lot lately, and it appears to me that literally 9 out of 10 USPS employees hate their job and are always very rude to customers. It almost seems like that is a requirement in order to work there. Lol. These people literally have every holiday and the day before and the day after off, I don't understand what they're all so upset about. Not a difficult job by any means. Honestly think my cat could work there and do a better job.

A post office with an ocean view. Park free (with 30 min…read moretime limit) on Via Tejon, peer thru the glorious big pine trees as you walk the quaint brick path to the entrance & you'll enjoy a lovely view of not only the ocean but a eucalyptus grove in Valmonte, just across PV Drive. Malaga Cove is a beautiful area, just one reason this is my fave little postal facility of all time. The other reason is Rita, who works there. She greets me by name when I walk in. We chat briefly about everything under the sun if no one is waiting behind me. Speaking of waiting, best time to come here is between 10:30 am & noon, after the morning "rush". As if there is a rush, because usually the line consists of only a few people, who are also greeted by name because everybody knows everybody here. Its like stepping back in time to experience Mayberry. People in "line" are chatting up a storm with each other, too. It's like a booze-free happy hour, any time of day. Be sure to check out the cool greeting cards for sale here that are cheaper than at a card store, and quite unique. And, although the facility is closed both days on weekends, there's still Saturday pick-up from the 2 mailboxes (drive-up or walk-up) out in front. I'm always amazed that I can send a piece of mail across the country for 50 cents (soon to be 55). By comparison, I get 20 min or less at a local parking meter for 50 cents. I was even more amazed at my experience yesterday. I had a last minute snafu, through no fault of my own, whereby I had to get a letter to St. Louis...fast. I rushed into the post office at 2:30 pm, explained my dilemma to Rita, considered a couple of options, ended up using 1-day for $24.70. If it doesn't get there by noon tomorrow, Rita told me, you get your money back. I'd just need to come over to my Mayberry P.O. & they'd refund my $. Well, I thought, I'll be getting my $ back cuz there's no way this thing is getting to MO that fast. If I hand-delivered it (get to LAX, fly to MO, get to the address...) I couldn't do it. Even in a private jet it would be a logistical challenge. And either way it would cost a helluva lot more than 25 bucks. But USPS did it. It got to St. Louis before 9am today & was delivered at 11:30, their time. In this day & age, maybe I shouldn't be blown away by such a feat....but I am. These people must've been trained by Santa, there's no other explanation. So I get views, Mayberry, & modern tech efficiency....all for a ridiculously low cost. Unless compared to email, I take issue with the term "snail mail".....although there's something quite delightful about snail mail, as described in my previous review of this post office. Gotta go check my mailbox now. I'm hoping for a Christmas card from someone far away I haven't seen in many years. Maybe there will even be a letter inside. Sure beats texting.
