Once I got home I found the original quote, sent it to them, and they credited my card the difference, so all ended up working out just fine. Its one thing to have a good experience at a business, its another when they make a mistake and then make things right, I'll definitely be back!

Twice I have left clothes behind in the dryer by mistake. When I went back, they had saved them for me, in a separate bag, which they do for all the lost & found items! Its usually tidy, unless inconsiderate patrons have left a mess. Its a consistent place, the ladies that work there are good at their jobs and are personable as well. Bonus: Nice deli a few doors down to grab a bite or drink to make the time go by a little faster, just dont be a jerk and leave yer clothes unattended for others to wonder about. I did a little bit of searching on teh Googles to see if I could locate a reputable junk removal service since 1-800-GOT-JUNK apparently doesn't operate in Eugene (for such an ubiquitous service, their service radius seems to be sporadic at best), and I sent a couple of emails and made a couple of calls to a few different haulers, only to never hear anything back from any of them. Tim, the owner of Universal Trucking, was different. He happened to be headed to Eugene right when I called him, and he stopped by within the hour to give me an estimate, which was about half the price of what the one other company that (finally) got back to me had quoted. He said he could be back first thing in the morning the next day, and sure enough, he was. He was quick, quiet and efficient, and he accepted my personal check with no hassle. This is one hard-working guy who I will definitely use again in the future if the need arises. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of junk removal or home exterior maintenance work.

I heard the assistant say she had another job to be at, and yet she still called several after hr repair places on the weekend, and inky one was willing to come. This tenant yelled at the assistant, tking her she herself either had to fix it or wait with her things all night (!) The assistant then called her higher management, and neither the manager or her district manager were willing/able to come on site. This tenant even asked me to help roll down her door (I was wearing a cast!) This tenant even called police and lied to the assistant, telling her police says she had to stay with her items and were sending a patrol response lol, yet when the assistant called SPD they told her the dispatcher in fact told the tenant they don't get involved in tenant problems and weren't sending anyone. The tenant was very verbally aggressive, and the assistant still remained professional. All I know is I saw her tell the tenant she wanted to help, had to get to another job, and the tenant was welcome to stay with her things til the technician arrived. This tenant was the one behaving in a horrible, threatening manner.
