I love the staff and the services the USPS provides. The other day I had to send a letter with a key in the envelope. The postal agent told me it would be extra postage. Unfortunately, I didn't have my new debit card with me, as well as cash and she told me that it was okay. That she has my back. It was only .49 but she took care of it for me. I am very grateful to her, Mike and the others for all they do, going above and beyond to help customers, and provide great value to all of us who visit. I've always had relatively a good experience at this local post office. There's a few workers in particular that are extremely helpful. Also, they try to be as quick as possible and as helpful and friendly as they can be definitely better than other post offices in the area especially compared to Eugene read more

I went to the post office today to find out why my property tax was returned to Lane county for " desertion". House deserted. I have lived at the same address for 41 years. I spoke with Mike,who is always helpful. He said the supervisor would call me. I stayed home all day and guess what? No call. Is this why USPS has a bad reputation??? read more

I love this post office. They helped me find my dogs very important medicine that seemed to be a bit lost in the mail and yet they found it and immediately DROVE IT clear out to my farm and said "we hope your dog gets well, we are sorry.". they are happy friendly folk here read more

Typically, post offices are places that seem pretty standardized to me--a little old, not much pizzazz, and not a whole lot of reason to get more than a three-star review. This branch, on the other hand, offered some of the best customer service I've had in the Eugene/Springfield area. The cashier noticed I had a golf shirt on, asked if I was playing, figured out I was a student from out of town, and gave me suggestions for places to visit around the town. My friend told me they had a very similar friendly visit with the worker when they mailed a package last week as well. As far as post offices go, I haven't found a better one. read more

These people will not answer the phone. They will tell you it's going to be a 35-45 min wait and then let you wait an hour without picking up the phone. This has not happened once, twice, or even a 3rd time this is a consistent problem they have. Not saying it's specifically the people who work at this location but I have called this location each time and still have never got the help i needed or have never even for the opportunity to talk to a real living human. do not recommend. read more

This location on A Street in Springfield is the best. Always so friendly and helpful whether there's a huge line or an empty lobby. It's usually pretty quiet actually and I actually enjoy coming here -- not your typical post office! read more

I stopped here in hopes of mailing a package, after a funeral. I was there just after they closed, but hoped they had an APC. They had the AREA for one, but it appeared they had pulled it out. It was no longer there. Harumph. This led me on a quest to find the closest USPO with an APC which was in Eugene, not far away, but when you're from out of town, it's a trip. read more

I feel weird leaving a 5 star review for a post office. The post office is a dying breed, so you never really expect stellar service. I actually find it here. I've been coming to this post office for 30 years, and see the same faces for many years. There is a very low turnover in employees, which speaks to how good this location is. They are always calm, relaxed, but efficient and super helpful. Whenever I have questions, they are always answered. There can be long lines, but it seems like they move quickly too. I love their flat rate boxes to send Christmas items, or padded envelopes to send pics. Every time I say I have a deadline when I need something to be somewhere, they can accommodate it and make things happen. They always tell me my options and prices. Trips to this post office are always easy, fairly quick, and painless. Like I said, I've been coming here for 30 years, and I'll keep returning as long as I live in this area. read more

I think that post office men and women provide a service that is so vital and it often goes unnoticed. I think these people deserve more thanks for the job they are doing. My mailman is awesome. Employee that helped me was rude and imposed her will on how I shipped my package by not giving me options on how I wanted to ship it. She proceeded to make up my mind for me on how I wanted my receipt by quickly printing it without giving me time to take advantage of the email option. There was no one in line and two other employees ready to assist customers but when asked why I wasn't allowed to choose an emailed receipt she said she doesn't like to wait for people to type their email addresses in. read more

LITERALLY USELESS Cannot seem to find my mail box and refuse to do anything but tell me to sit and wait and talk to the person who delivers mail to my neighborhood. Most unhelpful and rude people I've ever encountered. read more

This post office let our order of baby chicks sit there for 3 days before calling at 2pm on Saturday. The chicks were supposed to go to roseburg post off so that they could be picked up. They let the chicks freeze and starve to death! read more

My mail constantly goes to my neighbors, not to me. In the past I've been able to call this PO and complain, but there has been no resolution. Now the phone number, 541-747-8472, doesn't seem to work. Just gives a busy signal. Today I'm furious. Because of all the misdelivered mail, I signed up for "Informed Delivery" at usps.com which sends me an email every day showing me what mail should be delivered that day. My email from Informed Delivery today indicated that I would be receiving a very important letter, first class not junk mail, so I was watching for mail carrier. Sure enough, he walked right by my house. I went next door where he usually misdelivers my mail, but only found a bimart ad. So I walked over to his truck and let him know I was expecting mail per an email from Informed Delivery. He just looked at me and said, "I don't have anything for 1044", which is my address. Whatever, sometimes the actual mail comes a day after the Informed Delivery email so I figure it will come tomorrow. Well, I just got a knock on my door from a neighbor 2 doors down who had my mail. The mail I was expecting per the Informed Delivery notification. The very important mail dealing with medical issues. My neighbor, let's call him "Frank", told me that his mail went to another neighbor we'll call "Ted". The carrier lied to my face. He simply didn't want to admit he made a mistake. He's been a sub on this route for at least 3 days and hasn't delivered correctly any of those days. USPS Office of Inspector General website says to notify the local PO with carrier complaints, but this phone number conveniently doesn't ring through. So I'm giving a 1 star review even though my regular carrier is great, the subs are not. read more
