The UPS store on Willamette is the only one I have used, but I have gone there many dozens of times. They are great! Kind, courteous, efficient, and chipper. How does a person do customer service and remain chipper? These folks are my role model for how to behave with fellow humans. Ordered 2 small mugs from Costco.com, we've requested UPS to ship and hold the package at this Willamette St UPS store so we can go to pick them up during the weekend. Somehow this store rejected and returned our packages to the sender without noticing us. We've reported and complained about this problem to UPS. Best customer service I've seen at a UPS in a long time! I agree with other reviewers that this can be a busy location and might benefit from some sort of automation to help with lines, but I'm not sure what that might be. Wendy was on the phone answering what sounded like inane questions from what I could hear when I arrived. She was so polite answering the questions asked with a gentle "it might be easer if you came into the store" but no irritation in her voice. I couldn't do it!! I came in with a literal laundry basket of items from amazon to return, so I was there for a longer than usual time period. Eric was very patient and kind through the entire process, as I searched my email for each QR code for him. He multitasked wonderfully, answering the phone as he continued to work on my returns. Both employees were exemplary; they acted in a way that would make every manager proud! read more

Decent customer service but horrible for printing services. Their printers didn't work when I came in so I had to email them instead of use a thumb drive, and it ended up costing me $3 to print a single piece of paper. Not a great location for printing services. read more

I go here sometimes for printing from my thumbdrive. So easy! The team there is fantastic, they open the file and print it for me. Recently I had a larger project (relatively small for them), I wanted a spiral bound book of articles compiled and printed for a gift. Maria helped me over the phone (I emailed the documents, a $3 fee). In my email I described my expectations exactly. She called for clarification, and my little book was ready the next morning! (They must have had a slow weekend, the quoted times are usually a few days). I met her to pick up my little book and it was perfect! Service is hit or miss usually, but I'm upset about my latest trip. I went in 4 days ago to return something to Amazon and used the option to have UPS print the label for me. The guy tossed my package on the back counter without even sealing it in front of me, and I had to ask him to give me a copy of the receipt. He obviously couldn't care less about his job and was burnt out. I've tried calling multiple times in the last two days, and for some reason, no one ever answers the phone. This all might not be so strange -- maybe -- except the day that I was there returning my item, I happened to overhear the person in front of me in line complaining to the clerk that it had been days and they hadn't heard anything about their return, either. The clerk basically told the customer to take a joke and check back online or something. Uhhh, okay, but you guys are the ones who scan them in here, so... In the past, I usually get my Amazon account credit within a couple of hours at most of going to this location. I don't know what's going on at this UPS location right now, but it's pretty strange. I'm pretty peeved. Edit: it took 5 calls but I finally reached a human. They directed me to check my receipt's tracking number to where in transit the item is. It is en route, but will still take another estimated day. Again, this is strange because in the past it's received ASAP and I get my refund ASAP. Not sure why this item has to travel so far and take so long. :( read more

I have been coming to this UPS store for a couple years now, and they are the best store I have ever been to, shipping or otherwise. All the staff Emma, Devin, Eric, Maria, Madison and others who's name I don't know are super helpful, kind, efficient, and make for a pleasant experience. Emma helped me with a difficult situation which helped me get refunded from a merchant. Without her help I would have been out a lot of money. Even if I'm by a closer UPS store I'll wait and go to this one because of how great the staff are. I would give 10 stars if I could! read more

This UPS is your normal package pick up and drop off location. The employees are nice but if you catch them at a busy time it takes forever. I recommend going really early in the morning before work to beat the rush! The parking lot is connected to other businesses like Petco and Market is Choice so it's not usually an issue to find a spot. If you have everything already filled out and prepaid and are just dropping off, sometimes you can skip the line and hand them the package which is nice. I only go here when it's absolutely necessary that I ship with UPS. I do have better luck with UPS being delivered to me than with FedEx though. read more

Emma was phenomenal. I had a large shipment of 30 packages and not only was she helping me, but answering phone calls and helping small tasks while not skipping a beat. Her and her coworker were outstanding and also handled a difficult customer who was unnecessarily holding up the line. Last Pickup: 4:45pm I have used this location several times for international shipping (significantly cheaper rates for the US and Canada than FedEx). Each time they have been very helpful and advised me of how to correctly fill out the customs forums for shipping gifts abroad (very helpful compared to FedEx). They have also been especially helpful in packaging my items (sometimes very fragile) and ensuring I can get the cheapest rate possible. My only real complaint with this location is that at times they need an extra person working the counter. The last time I was here there was a significant delay (partially my fault dealing with customs forums). There was only one person working there that evening and while she was very quick processing my order and helping other people in line, she really needed another person to help with the amount of people coming through the door. Otherwise they are very quick. I also have a slight issue with UPS (the shipping side and not affecting my rating). I never seem to have a package shipped through UPS that is not scared by the process (dents and tears in the box). While I have never had an item damaged (and I have not always packaged them the best), it does worry me when i am shipping something fragile. My main advice when shipping through UPS is to ensure you have everything packaged very carefully and if you are shipping a gift to Canada ensure it is marked as a gift to avoid duty and taxes on packages under $60 of value. read more

I don't really dislike the UPS Store, and I'm not pissed off I had to wait 15 minutes to drop off my rent check. I'm just trying to make sense of what happened this morning. Maybe putting it into words will help... A 70 year old woman was mailing a sword and trying to figure out the perfect insurance plan and packing materials. A 50 year old woman was yelling at the top of her lungs, to herself mind you, that the copy machine wasn't doing what it was supposed to be doing. "Wah, these copies are double sided, I don't want double sided copies, I need some help!" A 25 year old front desk attendant couldn't believe the madness. She was doing the best she could as the only staff member at UPS Clinic for the Mentally Unstable to keep things from unraveling. I just sipped my coffee and took it all in. I strongly recommend against having your UPS deliveries sent here. My package was supposed to be dropped there on a Friday; I went to the store shortly before closing and they looked around and said it wasn't there and couldn't find anything in the computer. UPS My Choice showed it in town and "In Transit". I went the next day, same story. Clerk said they can only hold 10 packages at a time and so probably they had refused it. She assured me they would get it on Monday. I went on Monday and again it wasn't there. UPS My Choice online wasn't updating the status. I called UPS and they couldn't tell me anything. Finally on Tuesday I went to the UPS distribution center and the package was there. They said The UPS Store will only hold a few packages. She couldn't explain why UPS couldn't tell me where the package was. :/ read more

When I used this store for overnight shipping to northern California, I was certain my package would arrive without any difficulty. Not so! The UPS driver refused to deliver (the road was too narrow, he claimed), even though the US post office had no problem delivering to the same address. Bad luck, I thought, I'll just ask for a refund. I had a series of questions that I asked around the UPS stores and even the UPS headquarters them self and was always directed to a website that eventually led to a dead end. However, I spoke to Paul for about 15 minutes about my package and he gave me information on the time schedule the buses run on, what I'd need to track my package, advice on what to do about getting a tracking number from my seller, and overall very helpful information that no other UPS store had offered me. I am now a lot more informed about how my delivery will work and am very pleased to have spoke to such a helpful person. read more

Not impressed. I shipped my niece's birthday gift to this address, where my sister in law has a box. I received confirmation that the box had been delivered, yet when she arrived to pick it up it wasn't there. She went back twice, even with a copy of the label and delivery confirmation email I sent to her.. Still no box. Finally, I called to discuss and the guy who answered said the box was right there. I noticed that the "glowing reports" are top and center here and complaints "buried", here is my viewpoint. The store has many great points about it, no doubt. BUT I am going to speak about how we are treated there. (Last visit yesterday) While I fully support individual lifestyles, some of the employees here prove that rude people are to be found in all walks of life. One individual in particular is super annoying, slow to answer questions, assumed my wife was fully able to run the copier with little more than an EXTREMELY reluctant answer as the person and would apparently rather read a little book or stare at the wall. I mention more than one person as the second one was never rude, just cold as ice. Attitudes here are like a nasty fog and we go elsewhere now to ship.
