This location is the 2nd best UPS I've ever been to. The gentleman behind the counter took my package and handled it with care. He was focused on me, but greeted everyone that came in the door. He was the only one at the counter, but he didn't get frazzled or overwhelmed by the amount of people in the office. He completed my order with a smile on his face. It was of great value for the size of my package and the price was very reasonable. The service I requested he did in a very timely manner and I didn't feel rushed at all. We had an incident with the owner of this UPS store about a year and a half ago over a lost package. The owner was rude and argumentative. Did not offer any help or attempt to problem solve. Really poor customer service. Consequently we gave our business to the UPS on Coburg Rd. They've been a pleasure to do business with. This morning right after 8:09 AM my husband took an envelope to the UPS on Green Acres ... yes, the same owner. He rudely refused to ship the envelope. He said "I won't ship for you because we wrote a negative review (referring to the lost package) and you gave us one star, and said you were going to Coburg Rd UPS. So go there!" I'm shocked at the negative reviews here, I have always had a positive experience here sending packages, recently getting my passport photos, and setting up a mailbox. The owner is always extremely polite, helpful, and professional, and I don't recall his name. Even witnessing him training a new employee he was respectful and kind which I was really impressed with. I am fed up with people who write rude comments about people on Yelp just because they are frustrated with the pandemic or their own sad lives! In times of Covid, we all want our outings to be as brief as possible. While this store has always been good, today the guy who waited on me was as rude and inconsiderate as possible. When I entered there were no other customers in the store and two attendants at the counter. The man took charge of my package and the woman attendant stood by. I had been in the process of mailing a small package for about four minutes when another customer came in. Evidently he had had conversation with her at some previous time about some boxes. He interrupted his simple labeling and posting of my package FOUR TIMES in order to wait on the new customer. The woman attendant continued to stand by. Finally I said, "Can I please get out of here?" He shot me a dirty look and managed to get the package done without another interruption. It wasn't the other customer who was instigating the interruptions, it was the guy waiting on me. Even if he had talked to his other customer at a time before she entered the store,she had left and the sale to me was well in progress and he should have finished it before beginning his repeated interruptions to my sale. I didn't appreciate this unnecessary delay which endangered the health of all present. read more
