    Dirty and disorganized

TLDR: If you need a consistent, dependable, well-run mailbox service, don't go here. Try the UPS Store instead. I set up my mailbox with Eugene Mailbox Center a couple months before we moved to Oregon last year from out of state, before we knew where we'd be living in Eugene. When we arrived in Eugene and I visited them in person for the first time, I was surprised and disappointed to see the unkempt, rather dirty and for all appearances, very poorly managed state of this retail brick-and-morter business. Because I'd already made this my official mailing address for all my various accounts, credit cards, utilities, etc, I figured I'd stick with them, and give them a chance. I used their "digital" service, where every mail item received is scanned, photographed, and entered into a very clunky, poorly designed app called "Anytime Mailbox". At first this seemed like a great service, especially when I was still out of state. Through the app, I could actually see photos of all the items in my "in box". We've been doing plenty of online shopping as we settle into our new home, and I've gone in to pick up mail and packages at least 2 or 3 times per week over the past 6 or 7 months. The disorganization that characterizes the business visually (dirty floors, random stuff laying around everywhere, etc.) soon made itself evident in the actual service I was paying for. One time I went in to pick up a package, and was told that it wasn't there. When I pressed, and said that I'd gotten a delivery notification for it, the response at first was oh well, you should either contact the shipper, or wait a week or so. After some time, I checked back, and they discovered that they'd actually given my package to another customer, and it took me literally over a month to get my package. Frequently, I would get a delivery notification from the shipper that my package had been delivered, and then hours or days later when it hadn't shown up in the app and I'd come in to retrieve it, they'd say something like "Oh, that must not be in our system yet. I'll go find it." Usually they'd find my packages fairly quickly, but other times, not so much. On at least one occasion, after looking around, one apparently senior employee "Chuck" insisted that the packages weren't there. Only when I insisted that they must be there, did *another* employee find my packages for me. Another frequent occurrence was their failure to remove items from my "virtual in-box" in the app after I'd picked them up, so items would still show up in my "virtual in-box" days or weeks after I'd already picked them up. I had to remind them almost every time I came in that items I'd already picked up were still showing in my "virtual in-box". I would usually get some excuse about how much work it was to keep the app synched. The last straw for me was a couple months ago, when I'd received notification that some items had been delivered, one of which I was planning to use on an outing that day. I went by to pick them up 2-3 hours after they'd been delivered, and instead of the usual "That's not in our system yet, I'll go find it", the employee "Chuck" told me, "That's not in our system yet. You'll have to come back later after it's been entered into the system." I was surprised that Chuck wasn't willing to look for my package (like other employees had done numerous times), but I said ok, and left. After thinking about it a few minutes later, I called the store and talked to "Chuck" to politely explain that not getting the delivered item was going to mess up our outing, and that I was surprised by the apparent change in policy, and that I didn't think it had been the best customer experience. He was unapologetic. I came back in later after I received a system notification that my items had been entered into their system, and asked Chuck "why the change in policy today, after over 6 months?", and he glared at me and said, "What? Is not getting your packages one time going to change your life or something?" That was enough for me, and later that day, I went and opened a new mailbox at the UPS Store just down the street. Over the next couple of months, as I transitioned my accounts, credit cards, etc. to the new address, any time that Chuck happened to be working when I came to get my mail, including the final visit when I closed my box, he was quite rude to me. I'm a big believer and supporter of small businesses, and will almost always choose a small business over a large chain if there's a good option. I'd offered my feedback politely and constructively to this business, in the hopes that they'd take it in the spirit in which it was given, and try to improve their service. Instead, I got a rude "take it or leave it" attitude. In my opinion, the business would do well to do some basic cleaning and vacuuming, and replace Chuck with someone with better customer service skills.

Best mailing center in all of Eugene! No line, great friendly service, a fantastic owner "Darren"

Call before coming for notary services. We specifically came here for all our needs but needed to go elsewhere because notary was not in.

Friendly and helpful. Will charge 2 dollars to print one page, unable to give more than 3 starts for this reason.

Leah was incredibly kind, professional, and prepared. She walked me through exactly what needed to be notarized, what didn't, and made sure we had the right witnesses present so everything was done correctly. She brought a calm, compassionate presence into an otherwise emotional and stressful moment, which meant more than I can put into words. Because of her guidance and organization, we were able to get everything completed smoothly while my mom was still mentally and physically able to sign. That gave our family peace of mind during a very hard time. If you need a knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely caring mobile notary, Leah is the one to call.

My schedule was already so packed that the idea of visiting a service station in town seemed overwhelming. That's when I discovered Leah's website, and I'm so glad I did! I sent an inquiry early in the day, as I work on East Coast time, and within an hour, Leah had responded, and we were coordinating a time and place to meet. Leah came to my parent's house, and the entire process was completed within minutes. She was polite, quick, and efficient, making the whole experience seamless. Honestly, I almost wished it had taken longer because Leah was such a pleasure to talk to. The entire experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend her services. Thank you, Leah, for making the process so easy and enjoyable!
