I will never, ever use them again. I scheduled a same day air pickup - I got a call mid-day that "there wasn't an address attached to my pickup request" (which is nonsense - why would their system allow me to make a pickup request without an address?). I gave them my address and they said they'd try to reroute and pick it up that day. I got a call saying they couldn't make it that day, but would pick it up the next day - STILL NOTHING. On the third day after my request, I got a call from the local number I'd been communicating with. When I called 15 minutes later, it said "This UPS number is no longer working". I spent the next half hour trying to use their shitty automated system - it called me back then literally hung up. I called again and a 6m wait time turned into 15. I finally talked to the stupid long-distance help line, who said they'd have the local office call me back (the one who called me that morning but then disconnected their phone number). I paid extra for 24 hour overnight shipping and anticipated delivery next day of live aquarium fish. Upon tracking the fish arrived in town and was in transit as expected to a local UPS store for delivery. An apparent auto accident occurred and delayed delivery. Instead of making exception and rerouting the deliveries which occurred at 8:30 am the shipment was delayed for 24 hours until the following day. Recall I paid extra for 24 hour delivery and these are live fish. Outside temperatures for the day will reach upper 90's F. If the item remains on the delivery truck they may not survive until the following day. Contacting customer service was a nightmare. Over an hour wait time on the phone the most I could get was there was an accident and they would leave a message with the local supervisor but no guarantee. Pickup at the warehouse by customers are not allowed per the supervisor I spoke with. Basically their system does not allow for any variances. If anything goes awry you are ....ed, well use your imagination. I fully anticipate delivery of dead fish tomorrow. Thank you UPS for EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. read more

UPS has diminished in quality of delivery service and customer service. My complaint is that they have repeatedly made admitted "mistakes" that cost me time and money. They make no effort, or offer, to rectify those mistakes. As many others have stated here, when you try to contact UPS all that is available is non-local call center that repeatedly states they have no power to do anything. UPS has repeatedly failed to deliver items to my address, but not consistently. I have noticed a patter on my security cameras. The days that UPS cant find my address correlate to the days I see them speeding by on camera later than usual. Yes every day they cant see me, I still see them. So after paying them for a service they will only render it when convenient. The solution given is to contact the sender (normally Amazon) and have them resend it. One of the packages was important and I was receiving for my employer. I contacted the 1-800#. They predictably said there nothing they could do but pass the info on. The Eugene customer center actually contacted me the and response sounded great. They apologized said they were not sure what happened or why it has happened off and on recently. There was no problem with my address. I have lived at the same place for 10 years and only started having issues in the last year or so. The next day I checked and it said it was being returned to sender. No more calls from Eugene customer center. The 1-800# said they were not sure why, but the driver scanned it that way. The solution......"Sorry nothing we can do. Yes it was our mistake, but we cant do anything. " The driver and manager that called me should be the ones calling around to get packages resent. Maybe at least apologize for their incompetence. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield area USPS, Fedex, and DHL are all much more reliable. They probably will cost more, but at least you will get it the first time. read more

You kind of suck, UPS. I ordered a pair of earrings and knew it would require a signature - so I left one with instructions on where to put the package.  They came by and dropped a note saying, "No, no, you gotta be here."  So I guess I should take a day off work to get a delivery? I went online to change the delivery address or have them hold it at the facility.  You must register and - get this - your password must include three of the following: letters, capital letters, numbers or special symbols.  Nope, sorry, with tons of accounts online, I'm not going to make a special and precious password just for you, UPS. I called to have the item held.  The woman was friendly on the phone. Then I got the pleasure of driving out to Glenwood to this facility to finally get my earrings. I use cameras to monitor outdoor activity and to try and protect packages. I recently watched a driver use common sense and courtesy as he got me my package and an other was very pleasant to work with. This, and the fact the others tend to lose my packages, is why I prefer UPS over other carriers, much thanks to the drivers for their person to person contact and use of intelligence. read more

UPS (Springfield, Or) has a problem with delivering packages on time. In the past 2 weeks, I have purchased two different products that have not arrived on time by UPS. One product was from Best Buy and the other was from Amazon Prime. Interestingly enough I purchased 2 different items on Amazon Prime the same day, the other product arrived on time by USPS. I will start with agreeing with this review: "The worst shipper ever. Hardest web site to use. Impossible telephone contact. I don't know why anyone uses this instead of any other shipper." You cannot find the number for the local center anywhere. UPS defrauded me 3 times in a row, 3 different packages. I was home all day waiting for them, and they did not even enter my building. I left a release authorization online, and a paper copy on the door, plus I was home. No excuse. My packages were sent 2nd air, the average time I get my packages is 6 days. This is beyond unacceptable, it is total fraud. This time it has been over 6 days, and I still have not recived my package. They tried to deliver my package to a different address WITHOUT PERMISSION, total fraud. UPS is unreliable, always late, and do not make any effort to deliver at reasonable times. It is a wonder they are still in business. I am boycotting all online sites that use UPS as their main shipping method, or do not let you choose what shipping method you want. I urge you to do the same. I am boycotting Amazon.com for that very reason. I told them not to send my package UPS, they defied me and did it anyways. read more

Nicest UPS customer support person ever and if I was just reviewing her I would have given 5 stars... BUT (and it's a big one, no pun intended...) they don't have any packing materials other than paper, no new boxes (she has to squirrel away any boxes that come in from other companies) and you have to pack it yourself. I'm not a professional packer so I'm praying my things arrive unbroken. UPS has these commercials on TV where they brag about everything they do for customers. This UPS location says that my apartment number does not exist. Every time a package is attempted to be delivered, they delay it and then end up printing out a new address with the exact same apartment number on it... because our apartment DOES exist. I don't understand why packages from FedEx and USPS know our apartment exists, but UPS does not. For some reason, every time a package gets here, they delay it, say our address does not exist, then print out a new label with the same address, and hand write the apartment number next to that label. I have had packages from many locations delayed over and over again when it hits this UPS Customer Center. I stopped using a meal delivery system because it was through UPS and I knew it would have to go through this customer center. read more

Delayed for no reason. UPS picked up my package 2 days late so I couldn't pick up my package on scheduled delivery date from the hub, even though it arrived at the hub at 4:15 that morning. Instead my delivery got delayed for later, even though it was in the hub and could have gone on the truck. read more

So I don't have the option to pick up my packages at a UPS Store per shipper. That's fine, I get that. But to make 4 phone calls to get that answer is a waste of my time! The first agent couldn't help me, the second agent didn't understand my question and hung up, couldn't get through the third time...the 4th agent FINALLY understood what I was asking and answered my question. Had a package delivered, which I will now have to drive to Glenwood for. The delivery man lied and stated that we have a dog outside, who has "already bit him once" and there were 4 cars in our driveway. First of all, I don't have a dog that wanders about outside all day. Second, what does 4 cars in my driveway have to do with delivering my package? My dog is inside all day and has never bit one single person ever in his life and he is 9. Then I get a call from a woman trying to be intimidating about my pet and the cars. Terrible customer service and flat out liars! We waited by the door for our last packages being delivered by ups. Checking our tracking number we get a notification that the delivery was attempted 4 minutes ago (as we are in the front room by the front door). Wife runs out the door to literally chase down the truck at the end of the street to claim our packages. This ups worker named "Steve" says he knocked on our door twice and no answer. This is an obvious lie seeing we never saw him come in the building let alone knock on the door. No sorry we missed you sticker was left on our door or anything. This isn't our first issue with ups and it seems these employees would rather not deliver so they can get off work and focus on themselves and less on doing their job. read more

UPS sucks! I understand it's the holidays and all postal services are currently swamped, but the fact that I had to jump thru so many hoops just to find out no one can do anything basically till after busy season is UPSETTING. I tracked my package to see if it was delivered, UPS says they delivered it to my Luxer One pick up point, yet no access code or anything was sent to me. I call Luxer one they say they have no proof or evidence the package was even delivered. I try all night long to get answers from UPS but I kept having issues with finding a number to call and every time I would start to file a claim the website would crash! Ugh!! Finally I get a hold of a customer representative and he tells me (after being on hold for 15 mins) he can't do anything and that I need to file a claim. So I go to try and file a claim again and the way the claim is set up just seems silly. It kept asking me to put "Cost per item" in yet every time I did that it would say invalid. (I ended up putting just one cost down and it accepted that even though I had 5 items?) Now we are less than a week from Christmas and the dumb shits at UPS lost my package and a few people won't be getting there Christmas presents from me. UPS is the Grinch that stole Christmas. Delivery person came while I was home...my dog let me know he was here, plus I heard his delivery van. He didn't come to the door, not the front door, not the back door. I looked for the package, could not find it. I received an email saying it was delivered...yeah, but where? Email said other-releas. Big help. After a half hour of looking, I finally found it in the middle of my garage (not attached to the house) between my car and truck, behind a garbage can. Really?! I called to complain and had to explain my story to three different unhelpful people. I gave up getting anywhere with them, they clearly didn't care or offer solutions. I went to the website and it doesn't have a place to list my preferences for where I want them to leave the package...for that I'd have to upgrade another $3.50. Really? I think I'll stick with Fed Ex or USPS from now on. I never had a problem with my regular driver, please God, don't send any other driver back here again! read more

Composed: 2014-02-28 AM - Information From UPS Tracking Reports & E-mails 2015-02-19/Thur - 11:07 AM - E-mail notified by supplier that a $ 3,000 telecine machine, I ordered almost 3 months ago, was being shipped via UPS (with Tracking #) from Utopia, TX. 2012-02-20/Fri - 4:08 PM - UPS picked-up parcel to ship. 2015-02-22/Sun - 8:23 PM - Parcel left Uvalde, TX for San Antonio, TX (arrives in San Antonio, TX 2 hours later). 2015-02-23/Mon - 6:41 AM - Parcel left San Antonia, TX only to return 3 hours later. {Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery/ Delivery will be rescheduled.} 2015-02-25/Wed - 3:37 PM - Parcel left Mesquite, TX 2015-02-26/Thur - 1:22 AM - Parcel returns to Mesquite, TX {Scheduled Delivery Updated To: Friday, 2/27/2015, By End of Day} - Signature Required. 2015-02-27/Fri - 7:52 AM - UPS sent me an e-mail notification that my parcel would be delivered today "Estimated Delivery Time: 12:45 PM - 04:45 PM - Signature Required". And UPS Tracking Report was still showing the same information as it did on 2015-02-26. 2015-02-27/Fri - 4:50 PM - Called UPS (1-800-742-5877), after inputting tracking #, mechanical voice replied that the parcel would be delivered today by the "End of Day". Voice requested to speak to an agent. Mechanical voice predicted approximately 10 minute wait. 25 minutes later a, thickly, Filipino accented male voice came on the line. I gave the agent the tracking #, asked where he was located (he responded in a UPS answering terminal), and then told me that "UPS was "committed" to deliver the parcel today". I reminded him that it was now 5:25 PM (a half an hour past to late delivery time advised.), there was only silence. I thanked him for his time, and I hung-up. Throughout the rest of the evening, there was not a delivery. 2015-02-28/Sat - 8:07 AM - UPS Tracking Report shows NO further movement of the parcel - Shows the same report information as the 2015-02-26/Thur - But - {Scheduled Delivery Updated To: Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later.} Note: UPS has been in business almost 108 years (through all types of weather conditions, and forecasts of impending severe weather). The weather in northern Texas was not a sudden change for the worst, and forecasts predicted a worsening of the weather in the near future. UPS, touts logistic mastery - this, and other parcels should have been routed differently away from weather conditions which would result in NO movement. Secondly, to avert today's fallback excuse of "computer error" - computers are a tool, like their trucks - computers are built, maintained, programed and operated by Humans. This indifference & incompetence from a business with lots of experience in moving massive amounts of material is inexcusable. A very sensitive electronic devise is now sitting in limbo - exposed to unknown temperatures and conditions for an unknown amount of time. And, there is NO way to communicate with anyone within UPS to advise them of this parcel's contents or to receive any information about the extent of this condition. read more
