I was sending a pretty small and light box that was packed in a kraft paper envelope. Instead of giving me a simple advise to repack it (and that could of been done just in 30 seconds ), a staff member carefully measured this paper envelope and calculated the highest possible cost of shipping. Used this UPS Store as a pickup as we are traveling in an RV. They charge $10 PER BOX to puck up, more than any other UPS Store we have ever used. More than that, they told us that even though they understand that Amazon doesn't let us know if they will be using USPS or UPS that we can't puck up USPS boxes there. When we asked what could we do to ensure we would only be using UPS, they said there is nothing we could do. --In short, if using them as a UPS puck up, DONT BOTHER! I stopped by here early; since this location opens at 9am on Saturdays, to return my Xfinity equipment. The UPS clerk receiving the items was very friendly and made sure to provide me an itemized receipt of my returns. Overall, the transaction was quick and smoothly with no issues. He takes my package, and while scanning and entering things into my computer, asks me about my weekend before offering a piece of Halloween candy for the road. The staff was very rude to me about my Amazon return, that had to go to UPS, and try to sell me shipping products instead of just taking my prepaid return. I'm not going to spend more money to return my products. Their behavior was unacceptable. Now I have to change my return method and drive all the way across town in rush hour to take it back to Whole Foods. I have had mixed experiences at this place. The older guy that is there most of the time is professional but the person that was there today was very rude. I would not go back in there if the rude person was there. read more

We use this store frequently. I needed to send documents (which would cost me a lot to replace) with a return airbill. The female employee said they could not do that. She was adamant that it was not a possibility. No return airbill. A couple weeks later my husband needed to do the same thing and the male employee did it with no problem. Next day he had to do it again, female employee waited on him, told him no and the male employee did it for him. read more

Was quoted and thought I was paying $15.97 for a very small light return package that was going international, I understand that shipping is expensive but $15 seemed ok for this tiny package. When I checked the bank I was charged $50!! I went back in and basically was told I thought you knew that we will charge a mark up price and actually still ship it through USPS?!! Be aware that if you drop off mail that is packaged, labeled, pre-paid, and ready to ship, and you get a printed receipt with the tracking number, you cannot rest assured that your package will actually be shipped. When you call to track the package, you will be told that "it is out of our hands and not our responsibility once it has a tracking number". You will be told to call UPS, who will tell you to call the UPS store. You'll call the store again, only to be told, again, that there is nothing they can do. You'll be told that they are only a drop site. Never mind that they are actually a UPS store. They will then blame the driver and say they likely didn't scan it and then lost it. They will take your name and number and promise the manager will call you. He won't. Then you'll ask your friends for a new mailing store and receive several great recommendations around town. None of which will be this UPS store. read more

The management and staff at this UPS Store in my neighborhood are simply amazing. They are always welcoming, professional and quick to provide great service--consistently. During the Christmas Holidays they get slammed with customers and what amazes me during those times is how seamlessly they take care of the crowd. It's like watching a ballet to see them work. Last year I was so impressed that after they helped me I went to Safeway and bought them Christmas cookies. I only wish I'd had the time to do so this year. Avoid this place. Customer service is o.k. but the accounting, prices, and any other aspects involving money is suspicious and very expensive. I think the owner, Brian, is trying to recoup the profits he thought he was going to make before COVID and in my opinion is now finding ways to line his pockets to make up for his losses. And if you want a mailbox don't do it. They handled my mail poorly, sometimes they would tell me the postal service didn't even drop off mail. Why??? And if you need to change your address for mail to be forwarded the postal service won't allow it and you have to pay this overpriced business additional postage to forward it to you. Clearly not worth it, probably only thing good about it is to drop off Amazon Prime returns. read more

I was given excellent customer service and genuine care at UPS. I had been having trouble with a return. Your employee was able to find out a solution to a difficult situation. He not only got the package sent, but he solved a large part of the problem with the frustrating return. He got my son and I out much faster then if I would have attempted it myself. They'll make sure the boxes are properly taped (and they'll tape them up for you if you forgot), and will give you good advice on the best ways to ship so you don't overpay. read more

I have been going here for years. Became a regular when our daughter went away to college. All of my shipments, small or large, were treated with care. And the staff always had a solution to those perishable, time sensitive, awkward size packages. Our girl just got married and Brian and the UPS staff helped us ship all the wedding gifts! Had 2 boxes to return to amazon. Stopped into this location to print the labels and be on my way. Guy at counter I found to be rude and beyond helpful. Wasn't clear of the process basically just pointed me towards a computer and wasn't very willing to help me understand what he needed me to do to get in and out. If this was my company or I had employee who ran my business in this manner I wouldn't be real happy. Have a feeling it was just him, but not impressed. I have been going into this convientely located shipping place since I've lived in the neighborhood for 4 years, only when I was in a hurry. The owner has always been extremely rude and arrogant. I figured with the change in the economy they would start treating their customers better, but after my experience in there today tells me some business owners still don't get that customers deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. The owner started yelling at me that what I wanted to do was illegal (which it wasn't), then he agrees I'm right and whips out a form to me to sign, still delaying in what I wanted to do and helping other people. Their surcharge on anything postal is ridiculous, but regardless of their fees, the way they TREAT people who go in there is simply horrific and detrimental to society. I've also seen their employees hand unsorted mail to box holders to look through to pick out their own. For the owners themself to act like they are all about laws while practicing such immoral and aggressive behavior is what contributes to the decline of this once-great community. read more
