Don't be fooled by the welcome, they will welcome your $, but that is it. I should have seen the REDFLAG! They charge $3+ to print from a thumbdrive + print fee. But next I found out they are charging an extra $10 if you ship USPS from their store, the package shipping cost was only $8, for a total of $18. Go to your Post Office and SAVE your $$$. read more

This place loves to "nickle and dime" you for everything!!!! I needed to send a package Fed Ex and already had the label but needed a Fed Ex envelope which the worker said they don't have. I was told it would cost $1.50 for an envelope, which was fine, so I took out my debit card as I had no cash on hand. I was immediately told that it was a $5 min to use my debit card and asked if I would like to buy something else to cover the min charge. I said no and as I was walking out the door was told to "have a nice day"It was by no means GENUINE!!!!!! I went to the other mail box place on 6th street and had ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES!!! They were very kind!! I will not be stepping in this place anytime soon. I will gladly patronize the mailbox place on 6 th street from now on. Also this place charges $1 for a stamp!! I used them to ship all of my packages. Rarely a wait, fast, easy, and convenient. Rates are comparable with the office supply store down the street but never the lines and long waits the other guys have. Staff is friendly and the store has some fun little gifts. read more

I like this place because it is convenient. I can get a lot of things done here like fax, print, mail, notary, shipping etc. The staff is helpful and patient. My only drawback is that they are over priced. I never like my bill here, but sometimes time is money so I have too. read more

Absolutely incompetent staff. Had 2 LARGE packages delivered and hey couldn't locate them at all when I went in for pickup. These packages were HUGE and they couldn't find them in their tiny store. Then the manager tells me that I need to respect their staff because I tell them that they should be able to easily find them. How about I just take my business elsewhere. read more

Customer Beware: Read the fine print on your contract if you rent a mailbox here.... After 10 months of unemployment in Oregon, I was lucky to finally land a job in Grants Pass, so I relocated there in early January 2014. I set up a rented mailbox on 12/31/2013, thinking I would be at the new job at least one year, so I set up the account for a small mailbox rental for 1 year and paid $ 97.13 up front for 12 months at the good price of of $ 7.75 per month. Just 2 months later, I lost my job. My bosses informed me on March 6th , 2014 my services were no longer needed , and kicked me to the curb. The same day, I went to the counter at Outside The Box and told them I had just lost my job, and would have to move out of Grants Pass. Unfortunately, according to my contract, if you cancel or terminate your contract, THERE IS NO REFUND. PERIOD. I did not realize this, until I had lost my job. The folks who worked behind the counter were overall friendly and helpful during my tenure there, but I am FURIOUS that for the next 10 MONTHS I will STILL be paying for a rented mailbox that I'm not even using anymore, and that really added insult to injury. As anyone knows who suddenly finds themselves jobless, $ 73.88 is a great deal of money to not get refunded back to you. I don't know how the store owner can even look themselves in the mirror, knowing how much they screwed a customer who is suddenly down on their luck. read more

Being new to Grants Pass, I had to have some documents faxed to California. Found this place on the internet and glad I did. The ladies working here are so nice and helpful. Helped me with my faxes and answered questions I had about the community. I will be back to do business with our mailing and faxes. read more

Inside the Box charges outrageous prices for postage stamps. You can go anywhere else such as Fred Meyer, Safeway, Walmart, etc. & get postage stamps at face value ($.47) . Inside the Box, for some reason feels that they can charge 20% more than the Post Office or anywhere else. $59.00 for 100 stamps when the Post Office charges $47.00. This place is out to rip you off. I will NEVER do business with them again. read more

Wow, went here for notary and had to print some documents from my computer but no wifi. he then offers an aged desktop console at $3.00 for 15 minutes of Internet usage! I told the guy what a rip off that is and that it doesn't do me any good for a document on my machine. he then told me that if I didn't like the arrangement I could go elsewhere. Wow! How smug. I have always appreciated the convenience of using Inside the Box. Everyone has been very helpful and courteous. Pricing is fair. I am not sure if she is the manager or not, but the blonde lady is sharp, friendly and I would prefer her help if I had the choice. However, If I was the manager, I would have reprimanded the employee with blue hair for being short and abrupt to a customer. Maybe better off in the back, where she does not have to work with the public. 6 out of the 7 times I have been there have been great. Sadly it only takes 1 bad apple to ruin it. read more
