This U.S. Post Office is conveniently located on Route 44 in Seekonk, MA and is right around the corner from my usual haunts. Hidden behind the Dunkin Donuts in this plaza, there are 2 entrances to the lot making entering and departing an easy task. If you are lucky and can hit it at an off-time, you won't have to wait in line for too long to do your business. The postal workers here are pleasant and knowledgeable though I wish there was a bit more teamwork between them or speed in general. With only a few people in front of me on a recent trip, I felt as though I had to wait far longer than I needed to if everyone had pitched in to troubleshoot and get the line moving. At one point during my wait... there was literally no one processing mail. One woman was standing at the front doing busy work behind the counter and simply kept yelling to people in the back that they needed to come help in the front. We all stood there looking at each other awkwardly until someone made their way from the mysterious back room to take care of us. There are numerous displays and a number of mailing supplies available for purchase here. This location offers postal boxes around a side corner and has several drop off areas to be in and out quickly when your postage is already set. This post office is a-ok but certainly has room for improvement in the way of customer service. read more

The mail carriers are very incompetent or not properly trained My packages are not being delivered on time and also they have been misplaced in other mailboxes. Eek. Every time i've gone to this location I know I'm gonna deal with someone that has a stick up their you know what. Went in last time and had two men--bald guy and another with a lot of body hair--making eyes at one another as I was helped. Coming off as very dismissive and rude when I was the only person in the post office. I'd ask for a receipt to give them customer service feedback but they're so rude I don't even wanna stay in the building long enough for it to print. You're better off going to the east providence location a few minutes down the road. read more

anytime you drop your packages off at the EP seasons gas station they end up here in seekonk. they never scan in packages timely it's been since Saturday and my package still shows like I never dropped it off. I called seasons the woman says they've came twice to pick up mail. This is not my first time with this issue. Y'all are beyond horrible. The workers at the counter are nice and very helpful, but this review is for my mailman. I think we've had a few different ones over the years, and they just seem to be getting worse. I run a small business from my home, so I get packages quite often. And I do track them, as I need the things I order to run my business. Every once in awhile my mailman decides to not deliver a package (or delivers it to the wrong address?) Today for example I should have received a package I really needed, but didn't receive any mail at all. And it says it was delivered. My guess is that I'll get it tomorrow. This isn't the first time, and won't be the last I'm sure. I never had a single problem getting packages living in LA and SF for almost 15 years. This is effin Seekonk! This should not be happening. Oh, and he blasts his music, which would be fine if he could just do his job. read more

This review is for my mailman. I am 64 years young and walk with a cane. So I can not go to the post office to retrive my pkg's that he would not leave. This post office is relatively new. Never had a problem for the last 2 years I lived nearby. I moved from E. Providence but my son stayed in the apartment. When I moved out, the administration of my apartment decided to move him to smaller unit and with that he had another mailbox which he would need a new key this post office have the responsability to provide him. If my son decided to walk to this office to pick up the new key after he requested a week earlier wouldn't be a problem. The office is at 35 minutes by walking. I'm writing this review on January and the excesive snow, the street construction on MA 114 N and the lack of sidewalks for the most part.... is quite horrible for someone to walk. Even though my son lives in E. Providence, this post office is located in MA is the one that will provide my son with the key he needs. Because he lives in the state line from RI and MA as you can understand.... there's no bus running between them. Is not worth it even try because the nearest RI bus he might take would leave him still far away. He's been there twice. I know this because I have to come from my new place in Cranston to drive him there. Today would be the second time they handed an incorrect key since the begining of January. Even the supervisor came to verify the mailbox and assured personally to him that in three days that key would be available. The person of this place who is responsible to handle the mailbox keys has been nothing but a rude-unprofessional-lucky-to-have-a-job. This is ridiculous but more pathetic is the clueless employee that doesn't know what he's doing. read more
