Horrible customer service. The clerk was rude and could not help me with my question getting frustrated whe I asked "what can I do to retrieve my package?" My package was supposed to arrive on Sunday but it was missent to another facility. Today I was notified that "Unfortunately, USPS couldn't complete your delivery and is holding it for you to pick up. We're very sorry for the inconvenience." I went to the facility and she said that it was not there that it had been sent out in the morning. I tried to explain that they tried to deliver and were not able to according to the records and naturally I wanted to know what I could do if I would have to call someone, go back another day, or wait and she could not for the sake of costumer service respond to the question. All she could have said to me was to wait because it might still be out there even though my tracking says it is at the facility but instead of answering my uncertainty she kept saying it was not there and that they had so many packages because of the students in a rude tone with a scrounge up face. Long shot, racist because she was having a laugh with the caucasian she serviced before me and as soon as I went up to her her demeanor and attitude changed.

You can see how it's ripped up inside a plastic bag. No contents (no letter but you're going to send me the envelop?!)

I remember when first class postage was the same price for a newspaper long ago; now the price of a newspaper is higher than a first class stamp.

Before I could fully explain my question, the employee took the paper from my hands and did not listen to what I was trying to say. Instead, he proceeded to look at all of the tracking numbers, which was not what I was asking about. When he returned, he spoke to me in a condescending manner and implied that I should not have come to that post office because one of the packages belonged to a different ZIP Code. However, I had visited both post offices two days earlier, and an employee at the other location specifically instructed me to come to this office because that package was there. I calmly explained that my frustration was not about the package itself, but that he had not listened to my question before making assumptions. Rather than acknowledging that, he became increasingly rude. The interaction ended with him asking me, "Do you want a tissue to cry about it?" I was shocked that a USPS employee would speak to a customer this way. The employee literally shoved tissue at me and reached over the counter towards me. This is unnecessary and unacceptable. I will be filing a police report.
