I made a decision to take a last minute trip to Canada. My passport expired 18 years ago, so I was…read moreunable to renew by mail. Every post office in Los Angeles County was completely booked. Appointments weren't available for at least a month. At this location I was able to get an appointment for the following morning. I got here early and Lydia immediately took my paper work and my photo and processed my request in less than 10 mins. She even let me look at my photo to make sure I liked it. The 2 hour drive was 100% worth it. Total cost to renew with expedited service was $186.56 plus $50.00 paid to the post office. Worth every penny. There is plenty of street parking available. Located 40 miles north of Santa Barbara. Thank you Lydia for making this experience wonderful!! Make sure to use black ink to fill out your application (not blue).

That…read moreterrible mail carrier doesn't work our route anymore and ever since then I haven't had a single issue with receiving mail, having to sign for it, etc. I also frequently go in person to mail things or pick things up and they're helpful and friendly. Things have really turned around at this post office.
