We had a large order that my office requested the printing of shirts 8 weeks before they were needed. We followed up several times, pre-paid upon order, and was provided highly unprofessional service at every point during the order. We asked for status updates only to hear sorry we can't do that "the check is in the mail", as we approached 2 weeks before the shirts were needed the proof was still not available. The owner stated they wouldn't be ready in time. We needed them for a specific awareness event on 1 April and receiving them in May wasn't an option. He stated they were "busy" ok I understand but you either hire more people, or take less orders to meet your commitments. The owner claimed to refund the almost $1000 we pre-paid but the credit never hit the account. After a bank dispute, countless hours going back and forth with failed promises, and the scramble to find a new vendor on less than 2 weeks notice we were able to get what we needed at another small business in town New Lowe's.

Went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the layout and even picked up on minor details that we had overlooked, such as making sure that the striping on the door lined up with the windows on either side. Our business was open during the install and we were very concerned about customers coming and going with the crew being "in the way". SO not an issue. The crew stopped as soon as a customer approached and were sure to open the door for every customer. This minor details spoke volumes. I initially went to OfficeMax because they're normally quick, but their estimate was that I would take 5 hours (it was empty when I went, but I guess the guy in the print center was the only one there so he couldn't do it right then in case he had to help customers who walked in.). I called Tri-County and they said they could do it on the spot. I walked in, told them what I needed, and they did it then and there. Professional, quick, and affordable. And a cool building/space! We thought we'd have to pay more and wait longer but, in fact, that's not usually the case. I thought I had the incorrect number -it was so stupid and unprofessional-so I hung up. My Co-worker called the next day and got the same response and had to pull the information out of "ANDRE." And then got told the same thing about hitting the guy to the question of whether they would be able to get the printing done in time. As we had used them before we thought we would stick with it. Finally got a quote two days later - due to their technical issues with the computer - but really - they could not get me a quote without the computer program??! A this point we went to Bill's copy Shop- did not get the stupid comic routine - got the quote and answers to our questions in a professional way and got the item printed in 24 hours and for 1/3 of the price! She was frightened and shaken by the encounter. The fact that any employee would think using foul or aggressive language is acceptable under any circumstances is disturbing. Attempting to excuse it by saying he "thought it was me" only makes it worse--no professional should ever speak that way to anyone, let alone a child. This level of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this company to handle sensitive matters respectfully.

I have just retired and my…read morefirst project as a retiree is to loiter along Hollister in Old Town to enjoy the amazing home-grown businesses and eateries. If you are a CopyRight customer and concerned about accessing the business, I am observing plenty of parking along the newly re-striped Hollister. The news is VERY good if you use a bicycle or the bus to access Old Town. It feels much friendlier and more safe during this transition. I plan to use my fellow UCSB graduate's services when I need to get printed stuff done. As the slogan goes, Old Town is Open for Business. See you there.
