Called because they took our old green waste cans and did not replace them with the wheeled cans. They said we did not have the green waste service. The grumpy lady that answered needs some customer service training, rude and not helpful. read more

My family creates a lot of waste (mainly construction) Marborg always picks up extra stuff we put on the curb. The guys that pick up the bins are beyond nice. The guys at the big dump station are good friends with my dad and I. 10/10 would recommend so easy to dump stuff. read more

Sadly I brought 7 bags of crushed plastic bottles without lids in, a bit of glass( that disappeared) and some aluminum cans. One of the daily regulars jumped in front of me and told me it was fine. Marborg associates did nothing to help. I had painstakingly removed all the lids from bottles. Got way less cash then I should have because they marked it as lidded. Hopefully there are more honest recycling centers around cause this one does not give you bang for your buck! read more

Santa Barbara's only waste collection service. We've been using MarBorg ever since BFI had left Santa Barbara and this company had assumed duties for my neighborhood. I have no complaints. Their crews are extremely consistent with their weekly pickups and most always show up around the same general time like clockwork. My neighbor across the street has a toddler and brings him out three times every Thursday to watch the garbage crew, then the yard waste crew, then the recycling crew make their rounds. All three crews seem so friendly as they politely wave at the young boy while they hustle from one house to the next. I've never seen any of them slack off. Witnessing these little interactions makes me smile. I appreciate how MarBorg offers extra services like the large item pickup (a complimentary perk once per year if you are a customer) as well as event rental service. I've used them a handful of times for disposable bin and porta-potty rentals for corporate events. The scheduling is rather easy over the phone and the customer service has always been superior. I also see the Borgatello family's name often when it comes to philanthropy donations around the community, and see it as a major plus that they choose to re-invest locally in this manner. Even though MarBorg is the only waste management service in town, I appreciate all they do. read more

Always ends up charging more than expected. Not reliable. Lots of errors on delivery of dumpster or pick up, etc...

I want to tell you I have never seen cleaner garbage trucks anywhere in the USA. they are always here to pickup on time every week. Although I have a little issue with they never put the cans back and when they do they never latch the gate closed. read more

The food here is terrible! The atmosphere is trash and the staff asked us to leave but on the plus side, we gained an old printer.

If I could give it less than one star I would. MarBorg Services is less than Stellar, if you can avoid using them avoid it. The customer service department is seriously lacking in judgment and professionalism. They make unilateral decisions about your bill and you have no control. The service in general is substandard, billing is substandard and the billing department is unreasonable and will not work with you in any way nor will they entertained truth and facts. read more
