My favorite USPS location. Superb customer service from the staff and especially the lady who helped us with our passports. They are always welcoming and helpful. They have a self check out area for mailing packages; if you don't want to wait in line. Many delivery options available. Boxes and packaging items for sale. The last few years; prices have increased. The line usually go by fast unless it's before the holidays. This location has post boxes as well. I like that there is plenty of parking and near by other businesses so you can handle everything in one trip. You can still have access to the PO Boxes after hours. read more

WOW, this location is amazing. They're open on Saturdays till 3:30pm . Also very nice looks very modern no line came in this location. You can apply for US passports you do have to make an appointment they do give you all the paperwork so you could fill up then bring it when you're done set up your appointment . They have a self assistant kiosk machine as well . Service was great for me the lady was very informative about the passport information and steps . The most convenient USPS I've been to! I'm writing this review because of the fast and excellent service from the people here. Been here two times for small things and not only do they help make processes run smoothly, on my encounter I went to renew my passport and was missing a ton of things! The worker who helped ensure I had my picture, completed the forms correctly, and helped me with a money order for them to process. If it wasn't for that worker who helped me, my passport would have been sent off and returned to me. I really appreciate the extra mile they go and their efforts at this location! read more

This location happened to be the most convenient since I was visiting the store next door. All of the return packages were prepared and ready. The gentleman quickly instructed me to "just put them here," referring to the counter. After I told him I needed a receipt, he responded as if I was yelling him by saying, "Okay, okay!" I received the receipt and was out of there in very little time, which could also be attributed to an empty store. That said, maybe he was having a bad day; we all have them. read more

I recently had a passport appointment on a Tuesday morning at 10:00 am for myself, hubby, and kids. We got there at 9:45. We were lucky as there was no one inside so went right up to one of the workers and told him we were there for our application processing. He told us to wait at the side counter and someone will be right with us. We didn't wait long, a lady came out and reviewed our paperwork, made some copies, processed the money orders, and we were out of there in less than 30 minutes. Super satisfied with my visit and was glad I was able to get an appointment with them within a month. The city admin building was booked out for almost 3 months. read more

Pretty good post office overall. It's never crowded here and the employees are always nice. Parking isn't an issue as this post office is located in a shopping plaza. There's also a drop box in the parking lot which makes it easy to drop off pre paid mail if you come after hours. They also process passports here which is a plus. The lady who handles the packages for the P.O. Box is really nice I am unsure if she still works here. The workers are usually nice but not always polite. Numerous times I've came 15 mins before the lobby closes and it's locked. This is very inconvenient for people like me who work late or don't get home til late. I would really appreciate it if the lobby stays open til 10 pm as advertised on the door and on the usps website. I only have a P.O. Box because not all the mail gets delivered properly to my house so I pay for a large box either every 6 months or every 1 year. If the people at Andrew Jackson (the other usps that delivers to my house) could get their mail delivery right, I wouldn't need to spend all the money each year on a P.O. Box. I really don't like Andrew Jackson usps so I have my P.O. Box at college instead because the mail does not get lost. read more

The older caucasian male that works there is pretty much lazy and doesn't like to help me everytime I go in there to ship something out . His customer service is one of the worse iv seen trying to help people . I'm not sure if it's jsit with me but I've shipped many times with different usps and he's the only one I try to avoid in line . Last incident I asked politely can he check the difference in between ground and priority . His quick response was umm like 4 bucks . Which I know is a fat lie Becusse it's also based on size not just weight . You can tell he just didn't want to check . Every other store employee has given me exact prices for both services . I guess he was just too busy to check and put the numbers in. Unfortunately this is the nearest post office to me so I'll have to use them again but will try and avoid him every time read more

(Updated review) The College Grove post office is STILL locking the lobby doors BEFORE the posted time of 10pm! I was in the area on 1/5/22 and stopped by at 9:40pm to get important mail from my P.O. box. Both doors were LOCKED! This place is so unorganized and ridiculous. I made an appointment for 2:15 I couldn't find it at first so I got there at 2:17 and waited in line for 10 minutes. Then at the front I was told even though I made an appointment to get a passport, the girl went on lunch and would be back in 30 minutes. I was told "there's a Starbucks at the corner". So as annoying as that was considering I made an appointment, I came back 25 minutes later and waited for her to get back. When she did get back the first thing she said to me was, "You were the 2:15? You were obviously late because I left for lunch at 2:15." No "sorry to keep you waiting" or "sorry I didn't think you were coming" just instantly blamed me (in a very rude tone). Not only that but I showed up exactly 2 minutes later so she didn't even wait 2 minutes for her appointment to show up. I went there at my scheduled time and had to wait in a long line just to get to the front and be told the person who does passports was not in. The woman helping got an attitude and told me I was late anyways,like she didn't just see me waiting in the long line. Went in to ship a package overseas. The woman helping me, Anne, was extremely kind and helpful. I had never sent a package before so I was kind of lost but she showed me exactly what to do! The other woman working, not sure her name, seemed rushed and not too kind, but that's understandable considering it was very busy and she was trying to be efficient. Overall, good experience and will be going back to this location in the future. Lines get long quick but they do a good job of clearing it up within a few minutes. If I am going to mail a package, I like the security of knowing I am going into a building and handing off my package (and sorting out the postage with the use of a scale) to a friendly post office staff member. Post Offices are all over the country, so it is easy to get to a location (I always seem to live closer to a USPS office, then say a UPS store or fed ex). I also used a PO box more then once, when I was between homes, so that is very useful. The haters will write 2 sentences about the rude staff who works here, but to that I say, I am more interested in my package getting from point A to point B then making small talk or getting a smile. People get there news online, yet magazines and newspapers still exist, people buy things online and have fed ex, so why do post offices exist? A common misunderstanding is the belief that the post office is out of date. If there was no national post office, then companies such as fed ex could say that they will not deliver to Alaska or Hawaii because they are too far out of the way, or simply ignore small towns because they would not make enough profit. There will always be a need to receive packages in the mail, in the same way there will always be a need for a fire and police department, it would be difficult to imagine not having one. read more

I prefer this post office to the other one in Lemon Grove because it just seems faster and there's more parking available. While getting into College Grove Center can seem like a B at times, it's nowhere near as frustrating as cruising up and down Broadway hoping someone will leave so you can snag their spot. I wish they had a drive up mailbox though! Lots of light, spacious interior, capable staff. I don't see what more you can really expect from a post office. Whether or not your package arrives or how much it costs isn't really a branch issue. Take it up with the government ;) read more

For a long time I've been very disappointed with the USPS - but twice now (and only at this location) I've received excellent service but someone who knows their job and shows respect to the customer. I must say I've avoided every way possible to not use the USPS but at least if and when I do need them I'll only be going to this store location in College Grove. read more

I've never had an issue here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Decent parking. Only downside is that since it's smaller, they don't open as early as other post offices. But they do have PO boxes and you can do your passport application here as well. read more

This review is for the mailing services as well as their passport services. Mailing: The man that helped me DOESN'T seem like he hates his job like most people that work at post offices do. He was really accommodating and friendly. He made sure my package was secure, taped, and double checked everything for me. Obviously that's his job, but he was really nice about everything & didn't make it seem like a bother. If this review was solely based on his service, he would receive a 5 star. The 3 star was due to the passport service. Passport: The lady got my passport papers done fairly quickly but she was rude. She asked me to put my phone away when my phone was just in my hand as I waited for her to make copies of my drivers license. That was not only rude, it was unnecessary. She was away at the desk while my phone was in my hand... Why it bothered her? No idea. I would've understood if I was on it when she was speaking or filling my papers out and that bothered her but the fact that it was just in my hand really surprised me that she told me she put it away in such a rude way. I confronted her about how rude that was and she quickly finished filling out my papers (Thank Goodness) and I was on my way. There's a $25 charge for their work and getting a passport itself is $110. TIP: You must make an appointment for passport services. read more

I walk in there to send a package and tell the woman im sending and want it tracked the whole way. Try to track it and cant... Go back up there and a different lady tells me tracked is not registered but priority and she cant do anything. I don't get why some people make the process complicated. The signs clearly tell how what and how much the different types of mail are. My review is for the passport services only. Worst service ever! The black lady is extremely rude and on a power trip. She asked me to put my phone away when NOWHERE is it posted or is it a rule to not use your phone. Furthermore, I asked to pay extra to have my passport sent by priority mail (for the tracking) and she said they didn't do that. That is wrong information and she was just lazy and rude.
