Paid $50 to get a new lock on the mailbox since I just moved in; it's been a month and they haven't even changed the lock. Previous owner comes to check the mail still and who knows if they even have a spare key still. But this isn't right. ***update: Just checked the mail and used the old key; it didn't work; i gave them a call & they don't even know what's going on, they don't have a new key to give me either and don't even know what's going on. Second time coming into this post office and I love it. Area is kinda sketchy, it's located next to the Vivi's so it was hard to locate at first. Once inside it's open and staff greet you immediately. Never any lines to deal with so maybe I'm just lucky . But I always know that if I need to go in there to send something off it'll be a breeze coming here. Thank you to the young lady that always has a smile on her face and works efficiently. read more

I make delivery here for P.O. Boxes like every maybe once a week or every other week ..usually not problem at all till today. This Hindu/indo lady was so rude..I had packages to drop off and she asked if it was a drop off and I said it's for here and she threw the packages in the cart .I had to clarify to her the packages are for this location for p o boxes and she grab one of the packages and read the label and said it's the wrong address and she gave me back one of the packages and again I had to clarify that's it for P.O. Boxes and had her check the label . She's start getting loud and said that I told her the wrong thing the first place and that it was my fault etc.....I specifically told her 3 times thats it's for here and p o boxes..she gets an attitude and start digging the rest of the packages out the cart and saying I was wrong....like look , I'm just doing my job and making deliveries..lady need to relax read more

Absolute trash. I'm about to gain a bill I shouldn't have to pay for due to these fuckers negligence. Yet again our "super safe super secure super shitty" "community mailbox" has been broken into. Usps won't do shit about it. Won't upgrade the box. Or re-key it (they lost a master key last year and haven't done anything to fix it.) can't ever actually meet with the postmaster... But yet. After all the theft I can't have my own mailbox on my property cause "it takes too long" "it's too expensive for mail carriers" bullshit. At least if we all had our own mailboxes it would take thieves longer than one lock to take 15 people's fucking mail! But this branch won't do a fucking thing about it. I've been here once but first impression was that this PO would not be my regular location. They don't have a kiosk for self-service and seems like they're a lower priority location. It's not very noticeable from the street, it doesn't scream "i'm a post office!!" It's more like, I'm in a dinky little plaza that everyone drives past ... Anyway, my experience has been positive, I just bought postage and dropped it off. I wish there was a kiosk but I'm not planning on using this location anytime soon. read more

This is the most economically depressed and more than likely emotionally depressed post office I've ever seen. It's in an area that is nothing but run down buildings, overgrown yards and messed up streets. I'm expecting a tumbleweed to roll through at any moment. This post office opens at 10am! Yes, 10am. Ridiculous! The building is old with peeling paint inside and outside. There's a stench inside and you can hear the employees loudly cackling as they sort and process mail. The floors are filthy and there's enough dirt/dust on the baseboards to use to fill a planter. I'm stunned. First time that I've seen a post office like this. As far as accessibility, if you can open the door yourself, then it's accessible. There's a low counter and that's it. Pretty sure, a tumbleweed is gathering speed as it begins to make it's way through here. read more

I ordered stuff from ebay and it went to the old address, I asked my new post office for help, they said they can hold it, but then realized that the old address is served by the different post office and they said to just call them and they will help. So I called here, the guy gave me attitude that I changed address and it was already a year ago, and said that the package will be returned back to the seller. read more

I stopped by the DP heights office b/c I didn't want to drive the extra 10 minutes or so to RO. In hindsight, I wish had. This office only has 2 retail windows & the service was slow as snails. I waited over 20 minutes. Usually, Sending a package I'm asked to take a survey...after today's service, the clerk didn't even mention or ask me to take the survey. I know they receive an alert when there are customer's who are waiting more than 5 minutes. I understand that sometimes, some customer's take longer than others- this is when you tell your customers to get everything prepared before getting in line. Much more efficient, right? Well, wrong! So it took 20+ minutes to service one customer b/c he doesn't have access to a printer to print his labels but still want to stay in business at everyone else's expense....hmmm something isn't right. read more

My husband and I have always been treated with respect and welcoming from Ruth. My husband goes to that post office every other day. Walked in to send a package today and was disrespected by an African American lady who worked in the front by the name of Ruth. There were two clerks and one line but she proceeded to call the two people who came in after me who were also both African American and pretended she didn't see me. When I finally said something about being next in line, she said she thought I was just standing around in their lobby and didn't look like I was there to "conduct business" (obviously because on my breaks I like to go hangout in a post office lobby with a box in my hand). This post office is amazing and the people working there actually care about your questions and concerns regarding your mail, my assigned postoffice by my zip code is the post office off of royal oaks and they fucking suck and are completely useless and NEVER ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE ! So I came to this post office for help and a nice lady (didn't catch her name but she was African American) helped me yesterday and did more for me in 5 minutes then the lazy jerks at royal oaks post office (btw I'm still waiting for someone to contact me after 4 visits at royal oaks) she was even kind enough to give me a number to call so that I can finally have those lazy jerks at royal oaks postoffice on check, if you only knew what I'm going through at that postoffice, I am literally carrying a folder of everything I'm going through because of them. But anyways this post office is very kind and actually care to hear you out and help you within their abilities by which I greatly appreciated.... so I give them 5 stars because good customer service is so rare to find these days. read more

So the other day I went and dropped off a package (phone) in the mailbox that they have in the hallway. A couple weeks later I received a letter from my insurance company of my phone notifying me that they never received the phone. I then went in the post office trying to figure out what had happened and file a claim. I spook to a African American lady who was the manger and from the start she was giving me an attitude and was not trying to help me file a claim. She then started to get loud with me and acting ghetto and did not help me at all so now that package is good as lost and I have to pay $400 for it.
