AREED is my weekly delivery driver & he could not be more helpful and respectful. I am a disabled individual with incredible needs leads me to need medical packages to be delivered on time, promptly and swiftly. It's imperative my boxes are delivered properly as my life is in those boxes FedEx and Areed personally has in his possession at time of delivery. Sometimes the elevators goes down in my apt complex... no problem for Areed!! He always ensures my packages are safe with me by the time of delivery. He ensures I am able to have my packages in a safe area that I won't trip over or get my iv pole stuck on. They are large heavy boxes normally 4-6 of them. He deserves a pay raise. He also deserves a holiday bonus as there are not many drivers like Areed. I have had unfortunate experiences with other drivers for mult companies but Areed has blown it out of the park ten fold. If you ever have the opportunity to have him as your driver you're LUCKY!! read more

Sac Fed Ex is one of the worse I've seen. You can pay extra for next day air and things can get from NY to Sac in 6 hours, only to stall for 3 days once it arrives. Packages always arrive atleast a day late, whenever it hits a sac hub, everything gets delayed. I don't think Fed Ex itself is terrible since packages outbound almost always arrive on time, just something about hitting the sac hub where everything delays for days. Also, their drivers often lie about biz being closed or no one at the door. Some objects that are heavier, they'll literally leave it on the street where UPS would atleast leave on your driveway. On top of that, everyone in my area voices how reckless the fedex drivers are compared to other carriers. On the positive note, if FedEx ever wants to do case studies, this will be a good example for it. read more

NEVER GOT PACKAGE THEY CLAIMED WAS DELIVERED!!! Had glass jars of honey delivered (and paid for) from the midwest and the package never arrived!!! We waited for days for this package and suddenly got the notification that the package was delivered when there was NO DELIVERY!! We have RING CAMERAS facing our entrance and driveway and can PROVE that these MORONS never came. Complete waste of time and money using these assholes. I am completely ticked off. If I ever have the choice, I will never use this company for deliveries! Only once did I actually receive a package sent to me, and I am fairly certain it was because I was outside to intercept it. The lady with dementia always gets it, and I am without my product or even a corrected error. I mean, heck it would have been nice if the next packages got to me because some effort was given to fix the mistake, but nothing. Now I have moved down the road from where I used to live. Yesterday AND TODAY, 2 more packages went down the street to the lady who doesn't remember what she does and gets violent with anyone who tries to explain. Call FedEx, you say, I tell you I have and went through the automated prompts and still never got a real person on the phone, and like before, I have no doubt I will just eat it. The sending company will say they addressed it correctly, so it's the delivery company's problem, which will bat the blame back and forth. Ultimately, I'm up a creek. I NEVER ever will use Fedex to ship a live fish again as my the box was smashed and popped a hole in the fish bag then leaked and soaked the box for the bottom to soaked and easily ripped and emailed package damaged and will be delivered Monday, would have been the 5th day the fish was in box surely to be delivered dead and decided to drive to Sacramento and see what was going on to open up the box to a beat up not doing well fish in just enough H2O to live for maybe a few more hours before the water would have drained out!! Said they couldn't because of merchant strict delivery instructions. what would it matter if i signed for the package at your sacramento business or your vacaville business- its still fed ex. I thought I'd learned my lesson by now -- have things shipped to work/permanent address instead of my condo unit, or choose to have packages held at the FedEx store (Truxel open late) or Walgreens. At least Amazon has lockers, UPS also does hold at stores too. Don't get me started about the one time DHL delivered it to my sort-of neighbor in the building across -- who I'd never met before. This order, however, didn't provide that option under the FedEx "Manage Delivery" drop-down menu, only a place to add instructions for delivery (e.g. "Front Porch") or put on a vacation hold, and required an in-person adult signature. The first delivery attempt was made at 12:49PM when no one is home, but it did say if I didn't want to wait until next business day, then I could pick up my package at this FedEx Ship Center after 6PM (open until 7:45PM). I swung by home after work to grab the door tag with barcode and went straight to this location, arrived around 6:10PM. Easy to get to from the I-80 Norwood exit, only a couple of turns. It's not my first time there, but maaan. I was worried it would be crazy with the holiday time, maybe closer to Christmas it will get worse. Parking was no problem, when I arrived there were maybe 3 people ahead of me in line. One lady also dropped off a package and was in and out super quick. There was a sign on display saying something like "Cheer delivered here" that I should have snapped a photo of since it's such a lie but the lack of even elevator music was a bit much. I hate when we all regress to standing around on our phones in awkward silence...You could totally hear other employees conversations/laughing from the other side of the wall. I would say the cheer is limited to wherever those people were. When I first got there there was no one behind the counter, then he came back with the first customer's package. Seemed like he [Ray] was the only one until a second guy whose "badge was working again" came out from what I presume is the break room to assist. First person scanned the door tag, wrote something on it, handed it to the second guy to retrieve it from the back. Once he returned, check your ID against the name and address on the label, first person had to enter more information in the computer, you sign for it electronically on the pad, and finally good to go...but soooo slow. Maybe it's because I had somewhere else to be (don't we all). I know Flash the sloth from Zootopia worked for Department of Motor Vehicles, but he would fit in here too, except Flash would demonstrate actual customer interaction/jokes/pleasantries. My package was in good condition, at least it's closer to home than the Royal Oaks Post Office, which is just as bad an experience. read more

FedEx gives no updates on delivery, delays or service to the one who's getting or expecting a package! Kept in the dark from initial it's on the truck text at 6:30 AM. I waited all day way past 6 pm and no updates! I finally get one stating that my delivery won't happen as scheduled due to some unknown reason. I called FedEx and customer service rep was as evasive as to the delivery date! I had to pin her down and demand delivery by 10 am tomorrow because I seen tracking told me that my package was less than 2 miles from me. I do not like businesses that make me wait the entire day and get no updates at all except for 12 hours later telling me they cannot deliver today and a hold is placed on future delivery attempts! Since I had proof of where the truck or package was 12 hours from first email, the rep couldn't lie her way out of a flimsy excuse nor try to say they will try to get it to me in a few days! when tracking showed me that it was less than 2 miles from me. I made the rep say that it will be in my hands by 10am tomorrow! Of all the delivery services, Fed Ex ranks right down there with the USPS for reliability. read more

I took the day off work to accept and sign for my package on 10/18/2021. At 4:21pm i received an email saying they tried to deliver at 4:11pm but no one was home. Meanwhile, I was in the front room of my house all day waiting, no knock or doorbell ring, no door hanger, and I reviewed my security cameras from 3:30pm-4:30pm and no delivery was EVER attempted. If I'm a shipper or business owner, DO NOT utilize FEDEX. I've had very bad experiences with FedEx. NOT only it is very hard to get to a customer representative when calling them, they are VERY unreliable. These drivers will deliver your packages to wrong addresses. I do not know what's up with them, I was thinking they got the job not knowing how to read. People in customer support, especially from CALL CENTERS, has very limited vocabulary. Besides not being able to help you at all, you are being transferred from one to another and here you are, tell your story again. At the end, you'll feel frustrated and disappointed. They are useless! A lot of stores and business owners uses FedEx, maybe it's cheaper than UPS but the headaches they bring is huge! Never use Fed Ex, I put a final notice on my gate. Where is my first notice? They won't come as per their customer service. I keep getting text messages that the package is on it's way Then the message state it is delayed. I thought I had a standing order with the come do not require a signature. I work during the day. Been having items delivered that I ordered and several times fedex is horrible about delivering packages on time. I called to try to pick up a late package and got conflicting answers on package where abouts several times. Still no package. They damaged shipping label in transit while package was in their possession and have delayed package more than once. I hire people to install what I ordered and paid out money at a loss. I was assured after several calls it would be on time. Compared to other logistics company they are by far the worst one to use. Lost, damaged and delayed packages. Vastly, vastly inferior to UPS on any level. Got a message that package would be delivered today between 10 and 2. Waited around until 5pm (it required a signature). A truck showed up, the driver shuffled around in the back then got back in to drive up. I walked up to talk to him at his next stop and all he said was call the help line. That line is completely useless and there is no way of knowing where is the package I've already paid for. It's totally opposite to my experiences with UPS. I had to come out here from Davis to pick up a package because it couldn't be delivered without a signature. I totally understand that and this review is not for that fact. It is to say that of all of people involved in the transaction of me getting my package (i.e. me and the person helping me), I promise you I had reason to be grumpy. That said, I was super excited about this package so I went in with a smile on my face. The person that got my package for me definitely did not. He was unhelpful, said maybe 10 words to me all together, the words he did say were more orders, and just was generally unpleasant. Ultimately, just really bad customer service even though it was only a 3 minute transaction. It was definitely a super frustrating experience since if I'm picking up my package at this location it means I had to drive out here because it couldn't be delivered at my house. Again, it's annoying but it's not this location's or Fedex's fault I wasn't home to receive my package. I just would hope for better customer service in these situations. read more

Don't trust FedEx on your orders. I purchase shoes for my son for Christmas. Fedex claims they delivered my order. I was out there doing yard work well before and after the time they stated they delivered the item. I also have security cameras no one came by. I asked my neighbors incase it went to them on accident. My neighbors have not received anything. They are elderly people and I've lived here for years where they will bring me mails that got delivered to them by accident. I contacted FedEx and customer service gave me conflicting information. States it was a system error that when they scan an item to be placed on a vehicle for delivery their system will indicate its delivered. But I should receive my order the next day. The next day came still no item delivered. I called back and another rep told me the item was delivered. I informed them of the situation and they told me they will open a claim and someone will get back to me. It's been nearly 4 days with no returned call. So I went online to file a claim. Still waiting for an answer. I reached out to the company I purchased the shoes from. But this is not their fault. Fedex always delayed my orders and we'll. I've heard things like this has occurred with Fedex if they know it's an item of value. I never thought it would occurred until now. read more
