It's a bit hard to get to, if the parking lot is busy and congested, but you will find plenty of spots in front. My first or second time to this Staples only since this is not close in my area, but I came by since it was on my way home. I had a couple of Amazon returns and this Staples was convenient for the task. The staff person was quite efficient in scanning them in although they no longer give you receipts for your returns, they will take your item, bag it in an Amazon bag, and then put a label on each bag, and then scan your QR code and then the item's label and put the item(s) into these giant boxes to collect and then send back to Amazon, painless experience, only thing was that the staff person looked a bit grumpy, maybe he was having a bad day. He was still polite, just a bit curt. I took the time to look and walk around. This store is a standard Staples, about the same size as the one near my neighborhood. There's the usual computers and printers, plus lots of office supplies, then there's seasonal items on special displays like tax prep software. There's also a Party City in this one! Convenient if you were needing decorations for a party or an office event. It is the trend to co-locate several businesses in one so then there's synergy to pull customers in to return Amazon items, and then they might decide to just actually see, touch, and try an item in person before they buy at Staples if it's carried here. This continues to be my go-to spot for printing, so much so that some of the staff members recognize me now. While the shopping area can be busy, the parking lot has plenty of spots and the actual Staples store is easy to navigate. Sometimes the printing and package area can be busy, but they're typically well staffed, and I'm usually greeted as I walk in. I typically order prints ahead of time online and come in to pick them up. The team does a really good job with the prints and they've been really consistent. I also have been able to order prints to be ready within a day to a few days of when I order them. I always leave myself some buffer time in case there's delays though. They have other services available here and plenty of supplies you may need for work projects or personal projects. read more

Came here for my Amazon returns, my new go to place. It used to be Kohl's, but now Kohl's has combined their Amazon returns with their regular Kohl's returns and it can be a madhouse. Did that a couple times and I was done. When you come Staples Natomas, they have automatic doors opening, which is helpful when you're carrying a lot of stuff. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the wait is not very long. Staff usually greets you at the door, which is always nice! It is not uncommon for this store to close early. Come walking up to the door 5-10 minutes before closing with an arm full of Amazon packages and as the manager sees me walking up to the door, he runs to the door and closes the gate. I get up to the door and ask why he's rushing to close up its not even 6pm and he proceeds to argue with me how the computer is all shut themselves down at six and how since it's after six they're already down. He said his name was Sergio. I don't know if he was the manager, but he was extraordinarily rude and disrespectful. I ended up dropping a lot of my packages as I'm trying to pull up my phone to show him that it's not six but he still did not care and proceeded to close the the doors in my face. Really disappointing for those who work till 5 o'clock and have a slim window to get things done for not only your store managers to close early but to be so openly, rude, condescending, and disrespectful about it. When I arrived at the store, I told him about my time constraint and he basically shopped with me, showing me where everything on my list was and then he rang me up. DONT do it here! The lazy chick who sits behind the desk doing absolutely nothing and has no clear answers only responds with her favorite overused phrase: "I'm just the middle man". As she sat on her phone and drank her Starbucks she told me (the first time) she "was too busy and not accepting walk ins". Second time I made an apt that was cancelled an hour before. I came in for three things and accomplished all three with ease. The first was to drop off empty ink cartridges and the girl at the checkout counter was more than helpful! Even to explain to me the process involved in these ink cartridges and the requirements each month. All that service, with a smile! Then, I also picked up 3 cartons of 8.5 x 11 paper for the office, which a kind, young man immediately arranged for me and took to my car for loading! Service with a smile! Then, I went back inside the store to look for a replacement printer for the house. There was only one brand available for the printing and scanning I needed...and I needed one that can handle 11 x 17 paper. It was an Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840 printer. The same kind man who took my paper to the car was there with advice on all the printers and the different technologies now available. I did not get a printer yet, but follow his advice of waiting for incoming stock to arrive in his store. Such an enjoyable place to do shopping for office supplies! A disclaimer that this is a review for the TSA Precheck location they have at this Staples. This location was the only one that had the earliest Saturday appointment available, so I drove all the way from the Bay. I arrived and asked a Staples employee at the front where the appointments are being held- she informed me that it was in the back of the store. I was early for my 1:30PM appointment and had to wait in line for a bit. My name was finally called up a little bit past my appointment time but I didn't mind much since it was a gentleman who was one-manning the appointments. He was very friendly and answered my questions and gave us advice for when we travel. I was expecting more of an interview but the process was just verifying my information, scanning my passport, etc. I received my Traveler number the very next day! read more

Stores like Staples are critical to support small businesses and home workers now and in the future. Parking is decent, but they share a lot with other stores in the Natomas Marketplace. The Natomas location is a standard Staples, but they remain a good place to buy office supplies. The interior is a little dated, but it is still open and airy inside. The ink and tech stuff is right up front with the furniture and paper in the back. All the computer stuff is on the left side when you walk in, and all the office supplies are on the right. Staples has staples. And staplers and paper to staple. They have a lot of those special items you need to run a business mostly in stock for immediate use. Sure, you can order a lot of stuff online and even from the Staples website, but sometimes you need to sit in a few office chairs to find the right one. I ran here to buy the last webcam and chair in stock at the beginning of the crisis and will be forever grateful! They also stock ink and toner and all the packing and mailing supplies as well. It may be hard to go back to the office, but office supplies never change. Not happy with this place today. Went in to print out some photos. They wouldn't send to their email. The girl at the print center was very nice and tried to help as much as she could. She told me to try to connect to the stores wifi. I did. Then a guy came over, asked if I needed help, asked if I was connected to the internet and then semi rudely told me to disconnect. At that point I was frustrated and walked out to sit in my car and try. Went to my car. It sent. Came back in. Printed out my pics. And went to get some glue and pens. My bad review is primarily the rude chick at checkout. I walked up, she doesn't say hi, says NOTHING to me. Takes my stuff scans it and tells me the price. She then greets someone walking into the store. Goes " here's your receipt. I say Thank You! She doesn't say a word and just stares at me. So I made a comment about her being rude and left. Check it out staples. If this girl can't fake it to provide quality customer service, then maybe you should find someone who will. I have a pretty good assumption it was probably the color of my skin she didn't like, because she had no problem treating customers of her ethnicity with respect. Making copies... Staples is my go to for office supplies that I needed home. I can usually find anything and everything I need from post it notes, to my favorite disposable gel pens. They even have a selection of add home office furniture that includes a variety of desks , Office chairs, and they even have those pads that you put on the floor so that when you're rolling around in your chair you can actually glide LOL My experiences up until today have generally been pretty decent. The store help is never been overly great, but I also don't need help with a lot of things when I go in the shop. I pretty much know what I need, and walking around looking at things doesn't require a whole lot of help. I ran into the store today to pick up some pens for my favorite kiddo, and decided to look at furniture. I was thinking about replacing one of our office desks, and actually needed someone to answer some questions. Finding someone to help while I was there during a lunch break, it was impossible. No one was on the floor, and the only people that I was able to find where the two cashiers at the front. So I decided to check out the furniture on my own, it was really disappointed in the quality amongst other things. I figured since I was in the mood for shopping, but I would check out the printers. That was another Knogo. No one to answer any questions, and no one to even get me a boxed printer for purchase. So, they lost out on that sale. I do like the fact that I can run in and make copies which is one of the other reasons that I was there today to take care of some personal things. Sometimes it's easier to run into Staples and get those things done, rather than some of the other local copy places. I do like the fact that if you're into wanting some inexpensive invitations, or other things along those lines, they do have a few books you can look through. During a recent visit to Staples in Sacramento's Natomas area, I was treated like a VIP -- a VERY Important Person. I received this treatment from an employee I had never met, making my experience truly special. This is what happened: On Tuesday, 14 May 2024, I walked into Staples with the tower for my desktop computer, a Hewlett-Packard that I had purchased in the same store in May 2022. The staffers who sold me the device have moved on. They no longer work at this Staples, I was told. So I was greeted by Nathan, a high-tech expert who was new to me. He listened patiently as I told him: "This is a beautiful computer. But now that it's 2 years old, it needs a tune-up." I listed five issues, the main one being the comp's propensity to freeze within two minutes of being turned on, a predicament that had begun five days before. At that moment, just before 6 p.m., I was the only customer in Staples' computer-repair bay, allowing Nathan to quickly examine the machine. He tinkered with it for a few minutes before announcing that my computer was in great shape -- all it needed was tiny adjustments. He then performed what amounted to minor fine tuning as I looked on. It may sound redundant, but that's exactly what Mr. Nathan did: minor fine tuning. He did all this for an unbeatable price, displaying great respect toward me during the 20-minute process. I am humble, extremely humble; I'm not used to being treated with such courtesy. Thanks to Mr. Nathan, I walked out of the store in a half hour, with my computer as good as new. It no longer freezes! And the other problems are also over! Had I taken my comp to a competing store, it might have stayed there for weeks. Not at Staples Natomas! Honestly no issue with the actual store. I went in to try a chair I saw online and to grab a mouse pad. I was asked if I needed help in an empty store by three different associates. Stay away from the TSA Pre-Check here if you get Cielo, a pregnant lady she is Mean. We walked in at 1:31 for our 1:30 appointment. My future wife had said we were hear on time.. Cielo goes "So you lied then." She was extremely disrespectful and in turn i called her a "Bi*** and when she got defensive i told her to not speak to my lady like that. I said "you are not being professional you don't call a customer a liar, and/or have an attitude with them. We didn't spend our time to come into staples to lie to you." I say "Pregnant Lady" because she made it a point to inform us that she was pregnant and inform us she doesn't need to deal with this right now. Right from the start, the attitude, and demeaner "talking down" when she is in customer service just astounded me. Which is also what triggered my anger.
