I'm surprised the rating for this location isn't high. I've lived in the area for over two decades and every time I'm here, I've received great service. We've used their PO Boxes and love the remodel to the place. Clean and organized and I'm very pleased with all the services that we've used, which includes: notary, making copies of keys, PO Box services, dropping off regular mail, dropping off Amazon returns, and shipping. Extremely disappointing experience. We came in to get a fingerprint Live Scan done for my wife, and it was immediately obvious that Jake and his coworker simply didn't want to do it. The first thing we were told was, "We stop doing Live Scans around 6," even though it was 6:04 PM when we walked in. Stopping a service four minutes earlier and using that as a reason to turn customers away does not sound like a policy--it sounds like someone who didn't want to do their job. To make it worse, when my wife asked for clarification, Jake responded with unnecessary attitude, saying: "Oh, it's not around 6pm -- it IS 6pm." That comment was delivered with sass and zero professionalism. We were polite, respectful, and not rude in any way, yet were met with dismissiveness and irritation for simply asking for a service they advertise. If there's a strict cutoff time, that should be clearly posted and communicated professionally--not weaponized to shut people down with attitude. Customer service matters, and tonight it was completely lacking. I normally don't leave reviews, but the way my wife was spoken to compelled me to write this. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and frustrating experience. I hope management addresses this, because this interaction alone ensures we won't be returning to this location. read more

The UPS Store and its staff on Del Paso Road in Natomas are wonderful. Five Stars in every regard. UPS did a nice job of remodeling the store earlier this year, so that it's now modern, attractive, and well stocked with essential business supplies. The staff is great, too. They invariably greet their customers with a smile and obvious willingness to help. Shipping stuff is generally not a lot of fun, but when I have to I look forward to visiting the UPS store in Natomas. read more

I just dropped off a box for shipping right now horrible service from the manager PHARAM He did not close my box correctly and put one strip of tape on it and it was loose and half opened still and told me I needed to buy more tape if I wanted it more secured since he wasn't allowed to put another strip of tape on it, when he's the one that did not close my box appropriately in the first place. read more

The store charged me an additional $10 just to hand me the package. I already paid UPS for Signature Required $2.00 Person 21+ must be available to sign for package and Shipping $12.99. This UPS Store is crooked. I am not happy at all and told the clerk I was never charged before and he buy a P.O. Box for $26 a month and you don't have to pay the extra $10. Never use UPS or this UPS if you have to ship something with more than $1,000 of insurance. I was told that they would have to OPEN my item in order for me to ship it. For example, I wanted to ship collector cards. They told me they would have to OPEN each pack and take a picture of each card completely diminishing the value of the item. I had 60 unopened packs to ship, if I wanted ti ship them, they wanted to spend hours OPENING each pack and taking a picture of EACH card, about 600 photos. HORRIBLE policy. While at the store I noticed a large printer and asked about it the guy knew all about it and told me what to bring to use it. The place is clean and nicly arranged. I begrudgingly bought some items recently from Amazon. Some items didn't met snuff, so I had to return them. But where, how?!? I learned that Amazon provides several options in ways to return items. One of them involves dropping items at UPS locations with them scanning the QR code so no need for you to print out a label which is another option. By the way, the QR code is the square 3D looking barcode on the Amazon shipping label and in the email that Amazon sends you. You'll need both, the intact shipping label and the code in the email to show to UPS. If you got multiple packages; make sure you show the UPS staff the correct email code per package. They'll give you a receipt with the tracking info. So I head off to my neighborhood UPS shop, which I've frequented many times before. This UPS has all the typical offerings: mailing, mailboxes, notary, making keys, computer use, photocopier use, shredding, and selling greeting cards, packing material, mailing material, and office supplies. Stuff like that. On my last visit, the staff were wearing face coverings. Great. They marked the floor with blue painters tape to indicate 6 feet spacing. Helpful. Admittedly, I do have my favorite UPS store in the area, and as it turns out, there are three separate UPS locations in and around the Natomas area. My go to store is not open on Sundays, and thankfully, this location is open for a couple of hours on Sunday. They are a full-service, UPS store, meaning that they can take packages, mail, etc. I called to verify that they would be open so that I could run by and drop off a package that needed to go out right away. Despite that it was Sunday, the gentleman that assisted me in person, assured me that it would go out first thing Monday morning. Normally, when I mail out packages at my go to store, I always receive some sort of text message or email confirmation that the package has been collected and it's on its way . I did not receive a text message or an email, and called the store to verify that the package had indeed been picked up. The person that I spoke to on Monday said that packages had not been picked up yet, and told me that I had been misinformed. I was told that the package should go out Monday night. Again, I still had not received any sort of confirmation that the package had been collected, and on its way to the recipient. I called again on Tuesday and was told that they did not know if the package had been collected from them. When I expressed concern because of a tight timeline, which is why I dropped the package off on Sunday, Nothing was said to really address the issue other than it would be taken care of. Wednesday came and went, and I still had not received any type of confirmation. Thursday came and went, and the same thing. Friday came along, and I finally received a notification about about the package being picked up. If I had known the package was going to sit for a week, then I would've taken it to my regular UPS store because I know that the package would go out when I was told it would go out . I'm not certain why this business model is different than any of the other, UPS stores, or, I was just given misinformation. I suppose, if you're not in a hurry to either mail, something out, or concerned about the actual delivery date, this location like many of the others is fairly easy to get to. Parking is a little tight because the store is surrounded by a number of restaurants and other services. They don't have dedicated parking places, but parking is free. read more

Not here to ruin anyones day. But thought Rich could use some pointers. When performing live scans, it helps to identify the names of the fingers you are asking for instead of saying "that one" and "this one" leaving the person being scanned to play a guessing game and resulting in you, the scanner, to sigh in frustration. It also helps to speak in complete sentences so that the customer may understand what is being asked rather than uttering under your breath, "ID" "sign this" etc. and in probably a level 3 or 4 inside voice similar to the one he was using when he was flirting with a customer prior or when he went from mid sentence to me to talk to that shirtless customer with a stomach tattoo's video game live on TikTok or something. Lol. It's not often that I would come in for a live scan, and it's been a while since my last one at a UPS store in a different town, BUT I can remember it not being this unpleasant or uncomfortable and rough with the rolling. I understand that live scans may slow down the flow of things on this Friday (5/27/22) afternoon, but also people aren't here to purposefully ruin your day. The store is a rip off and unethical price gouging. I went in to get an 18" x 24" picture wrapped. There was a long line so I didn't ask how much it would be thinking it wouldn't be that much. I was charged $32.00 for wrapping a box!!!! Stay away from this RIPOFF STORE or do ask how much it will cost before proceeding. They will swindle and gank you if you are not careful. read more

You'd think they'd be smart enough to have certain hours for live scan, etc. Policy should be to suspend or refund billing to anyone renting a mail box, or picking up a package. I've only use the store twice. One was to return Amazon. And they made that process very very easy. And recently I needed to find a notary. Some of the other places that I had gone to to get documents notary services you had to make an appointment or I hope you catch them at the right time. However at the UPS store they always have two notaries on staff at all times and it made getting notary services a piece of cake. I would always use them In future for all of my notary needs. When I had to send some thing overnight for it to be there the next morning as guaranteed it was there the next morning before the due time. Very happy with our service read more

This place is a joke. A few months back, I took a package to ship to my sister in Louisiana. My sister never received that package. This past Sunday, my husband took a package and dropped pff to be shipped to San Mateo. It is now Thursday and still no acknowledgment of the package being accpted, so no updates on the tracking. Called and inquired about it. The guy first hing up on me. Then when I called back, he said I needed to report it to be traced. Beware of this place. These people should be shut down. I went into this store thinking I would have the same experience that I have when I go to the location on W. El Camino and Truxel Rd because I love their service. Little did I know that this company has franchise stores which are privately owned and operated. I used their computer for 15 minutes and printed legal forms from a government website and asked the two men working there for their assistance with printing them correctly so I didn't waste paper. One gentlemen ignored my request while the younger of the two men decided to help me. He messed up on my print and made the pages to fix horizontal and not vertical when printing them. He told me I wouldn't be charged for him to fix them and used his "managers swipe card" on the computer so I didn't have to be charged. Little did I know that he never logged out of his account and then charged me at the register for their "managers card" balance instead of what service I actually received. I asked for a receipt and he said he could not print one and that it wasn't available so I got upset and demanded one and he threatened to call the police so I left. A week later I contact UPS corporate in order to express my concerns. And they ensured me they would contact me in 3 business days with a response. I emailed them a copy of my bank statement with the applied charge of $46.70. I paid for 15 copies and used 15 minutes of computer time. That was not worth that amount and ups corporate agreed and advocated to me on behalf of the owners. A lady or gentlemen name "Kashmir" is suppose to return 40.00 back onto my card. I am still waiting for a call from the owner or an email apologizing for their associates mistake. I am also waiting for the money that is to be refunded to me to post on my account but it hasn't yet. DO NOT use the services provided in their office. They over charge for mistakes that they make and they aren't very well trained. Be aware of the scam that they want to play on consumers. They charge more than the UPS store on W. I needed to mail my godson's birthday gift (which is sooo late, he turned 2 in December!) so I needed to UPS it right away. I also needed to get groceries, (Safeway in the same complex) so this was the perfect location to do this. Buy your boxes and other packaging material in advance, because they will charge you an arm and a leg if you get it at UPS. The 12 x 12 x 12 box that I got sold for $5. (geez! Beware Of Surcharges Not Posted. It would have been nice if I was notified of the surcharge before hand. No notices posted anywhere of additional fees for USPS services. This was my first time purchasing USPS postage at a UPS. If I would have known I would have gone directly to the post office instead. When I brought it to the clerks attention he just pointed to the receipt and said that notice of the surcharge is listed on the receipt. Hello! That is After the Fact? I just gave up. This store wrongfully charges fees for making extra document prints when processing fingerprints. I was denied fingerprint services because I didn't want to purchase additional document copies. My employer has an account and THEY paid for my fingerprints to be taken. Why charge the individual coming in for fingerprints and force them to make copies of the paperwork they don't need???!! Nowhere on the DOJ website nor UPS indicates customers MUST receive additional copies and/or pay for them. Additionally, I arrived to the store 25 minutes prior to closing and they indicated I was LATE! This place is ridiculous! I went to another UPS location with absolutely no issues! Cashmere and I believe his wife need to be reported and investigated and their business shouldn't be listed to conduct fingerprints. Please check out other reviews as well. What is crazy is, the other UPS store informed me that the "extra prints" were for MY OWN documentation and my employer...neither of us needed this! I believe it would have been better handled if I had simply been able to take a screenshot of my document and received a confirmation number as described on the DOJ website! I received a package that was opened, the tape was cut open...the whole entire taping along the side fold was cleanly cut. The package came from Amazon, so it was professionally packed. The staff has the audacity to give it to me in that condition without saying a word about the damage. I stood there for a few seconds anticipating an explanation or apology, nothing. I than asked him what happened to the package, he blamed the us postal system for the damage. I don't buy that excuse, because if the us postal service did "damage " my package, they would tape it back up with us postal tape and provide a damaged disclaimer. There was no point in going into a full Detective Monk investigation interrogation with them; it wouldn't have changed the fact that the package was opened. Nevertheless, I have lost confidence in the staff and feel insecure with them handling my mail. But as I've been looking for another UPS store in the neighborhood, I noticed that several staff at this location work at the other locations. read more

I emailed my label to the store and when I arrived at the store to ship my package back to the vendor, I was told that they couldn't print my label and I had to use there computers and print the label myself!!! I wasn't able to print the label due to an access code from Amazon however I was still charged 3.00 for using the computer!!! I have gone to many other UPS locations and never had this type of experience or poor customer service I will never return back to this location again. read more
