I wish I had gotten his name, but the young gentleman who assisted me around 4:45 PM today was incredibly professional and helpful. I came in with several pieces of mail and wasn't aware that the envelopes I selected already included prepaid postage. I asked him whether each item required one or two stamps, and he kindly weighed everything and confirmed that only one stamp was needed. Because I had several questions, neither of us realized right away that the envelopes were already prepaid. After I completed the transaction and left, he actually ran outside to let me know that I hadn't needed to pay at all. He immediately offered to process a refund back to my card. While the amount wasn't large, I truly appreciated his honesty and the extra effort he made to correct the mistake. Employees like him are exactly why I take the time to leave positive reviews. I don't head into the UPS store often, but it's nice to know what to expect when I do need to send a package. While there's usually lines when I stop in they always keep them moving. The staff is very helpful and I appreciate them being able to walk us through options and pricing to send items. While sometimes it feels expensive, so far everything has made it safely to its destination on time or early. read more

From the customer service to the services available they have done a great job over the years, many years. My most recent visit was fast and smooth even for 1 cashier getting them in and out fast. Meghan was efficient. And over the years using them for returns, shipping stuff to friends and family, making copies and even for some faces. All items have been delivered with no problems. If you need a personal p.o. box, want to buy some boxes, shipping materials or even need a notary UPS got you covered. Parking is decent in the shopping mall. Best service I've ever had at a UPS store. I've been to Natomas Crossing (garbage) and I've been to the one off Del Paso (also garbage) - this was a risk, but I had an Amazon return and it had to be dropped at a UPS store so I tried this one on El Camino. I won't go to another UPS Store again. Ryan was extremely helpful, friendly, and fast. I was literally in and out of the store in 5 minutes. I wish I could give this place an absolute 0 for a review. I would never recommend to get notarized by them. They charged me for the first notarization document which was done inaccurately. They did not match my name the way I put it which is why my documents did not go through saying they have to follow what is on my drivers license. The agency that needed it notarized explained they need to match my name the way "I"put it. When I went back and asked them to fix the error, they told me that they would have to charge me again. Total disbelief. The worst customer service and they can't own up to their mistake. I will not pay again for services that should have been done the right way in the beginning . When they saw my name was not matching appropriately to my DL on document that should have been addressed to me by them first hand. I should have not had to pay for it if they knew it was incorrect. What total waste of money, time and energy. Worst place to get anything notarized. I most definitely would not recommend my family or friends to come to get anything notarized here. read more

Very helpful staff. Very small store has all the services, including a notary. Store is clean, organized, has a ton of free parking and is easy to find - Far left end of the Bel Air plaza. (Enter from El Camino at far entrance or main one. If entering from Truxel, it can take awhile to get past the grocery/StarBucks/bank traffic.) Has the standard mailing products. Doesn't stock much extraneous stuff - greeting cards, fuzzy keychains, etc. The employee who helped me went above and beyond with copying, enlarging, darkening, scanning and finally emailing my docs. She didn't give up on trying to get the result I needed nor leave me before I was comfortable doing it myself. Then she asked if I needed an printed extra receipt for reimbursement (I did but forgot to ask.) She was friendly and patient despite having to multitask between me and a sudden onslaught of customers. Four stars because they needed more help. The person notarizing didn't stop, and the other two worked non-stop the 45 minutes I was in there. This was a Saturday around 5 PM. read more

The people were very nice but I was appalled that they weren't enforcing social distancing in any way...and they didn't seem to mind that many people weren't wearing masks in a crowded compact store (15 people inside). A staff member led two customers right in front of me (one touched my arm)! I asked why they weren't enforcing social distancing and was told they're the one that gets the misdemeanor". I am very worried about getting sick from the trip today. They have a legal and moral obligation to keep people safe. read more

I have come here a handful of times to send packages and buy supplies. Every time I do, I am greeted by the courteous staff and helped as fast as humanly possible (even when there is a few people in front of me they typically get through everyone quickly and efficiently). On my last trip I needed to get something notarized and was not sure they had that service. I asked and was pleasantly surprised to hear they did, and it would only cost $10 (I have seen notary services for $20 and up else where). It took only a few minutes to get my letter notarized and letters shipped, and then I was back out the door to run my errands. All in all, great service. read more

I have to say over and beyond service by Jed of this location. I had a musical instrument collector item I sold on Ebay that I was scammed by a Ebay buyer. The Ebay buyer would not return nor pay for the item and claimed it was damaged and not as described in my Ebay sales ad. Jed contacted UPS for a call tag inspection to help me with my claim, he emailed the buyer and he also spoke to Ebay supervisors for me to help me get my rare item back. When it arrived back at his store. Jed and I unpacked it together and tested it out. There was nothing wrong with the item and was in great shape. This took 5 months to ship and receive back from this Ebay scammer. We had done 6 call tags for return that the buyer refused the UPS call tag instructions and after the 6 harrassment by UPS the buyer surrendered my item back. Came in to have a document notarized. The person working was kind but upon seeing what the document was (an i9) she stated that the owner didn't allow them to notarize them. Problem with that is if a person has the correct document, identification, and payment ready a notary cannot legally refuse to do any notarization. I'm not sure if the staff member just didn't want to do the i9 (being a notary I know they can be a small pain) or if the owner just doesn't care about the legality of the situation.
