What's inappropriate is refusing to stand behind your work when a customer raises legitimate concerns after spending around $7,500 on a full vehicle wrap and related services. My intention was simply to have a professional conversation and give you the opportunity to inspect the areas I mentioned. Multiple installers have already pointed out the same issues with visible edges and areas that were not properly tucked. That's not an accusation--it's a quality concern. I had been looking for a place to tint the windows of my red 2022 Model 3 Tesla for awhile. It was great I could get both services done at the same time. I had emailed Ryan and he was super prompt and helpful. I have a crazy schedule and he dealt with my multiple requests and schedule changes. Josh helped me pick the right level of tint and walked me through the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I picked the 3M Ceramic IR tint ($600). I had to change my pick up date and time several times. Ryan and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their lightening fast responses and call backs, were much appreciated. Prior to choosing Deluxe Window Tint we did our research as well as contacted many other companies, Albert(the Owner) really impressed us with his pricing, diligence and response times so we decided to go with Deluxe Window Tint. I dropped the motorhome off in the morning and it was done and ready to pick up in the afternoon. Upon my arrival I noticed what appeared to be some damage to an awning and pointing it out to the employees. Ultimately Albert made a return trip to the shop and we discussed my concerns. His very first statement put my mind at ease "I am not here to deny anything, only to understand the situation and take care of our customer". WHEW! (This was not the response I was expecting after recently dealing with another company who wrongly wired our Jeep up for flat towing behind the motorhome. The next morning that shop foreman was very arrogant when I pointed it out and asked to have it corrected. The installing mechanic looked at my paperwork and immediately said he would have it done in 20 minutes. That shop foreman made it a point to not acknowledge me for the next 20 minutes as I waited in the showroom). As Albert and I looked at my concerns and discussed what could have, as well as what could not have, happened there was nothing but professionalism and discovery evident. After a while it became clear that I was wrong and they had in fact not damaged the awning. It was an embarrassing moment for me as I apologized profusely to both the employee as well as to Albert. They understood how I could have misinterpreted what I had seen and graciously accepted my apology. As we all know things can happen(or in my case, not happen), it's how they are dealt with that truly define a company's culture and an Owner's core belief. In the end I left the shop with plans to bring my Jeep back for window tinting as well, that's how impressed I was. Don't hesitate to trust this shop to do what's right! I originally came to Genesis Window Tinting to get some basic information on doing a Full PPF,…read morepossibly Stealth XPEL, and ended up becoming a returning customer. I went into the store and was greeted by Lennie (sorry if I misspelled it!). She was very personable and friendly, and she would recognize me at later visits which made the experience of using Genesis amazing and like catching up with an old friend. I told her what I was thinking about and she grabbed Sid, the store manager (I think), who walked with me back to the car. Sid is incredibly knowledgeable and upfront. I told him what I was thinking and he gave me some options on what I could do. Initially looking at the XPEL Stealth, he demonstrated on my car what it could look like by placing a small strip of it. He pointed out the little, specks of sparkle in the grey paint of my car that made it unique and expressed that putting the stealth on the car will remove that. I ended up changing my mind and went with the Llumar Valor PPF which had integrated ceramic coating, more neutral PPF color tone that accentuated the sparkle in the OEM paint, and added the Windshield skin to protect the OEM windshield (much cheaper than later replacing the full OEM windshield + calibration). Sid did not pressure me for these options nor felt like a salesman. He gave me the information and I led myself to the natural decision of what I wanted for my car. (Was very close to getting a green PPF wrap, but the OEM colour is too good!) Dealing with Genesis was incredibly personable and upfront. Sid answered my questions about price ranges of PPF jobs that I've seen online, walked me through the process, and was very communicative. I even asked about lower priced competitors and their closest competitor in Yelp ratings. He did not badmouth them, and even complimented their competitor for doing great jobs on the cars he's seen. That integrity is what sold me on using Genesis. I didn't even go to their competitor when I had originally planned to because the service was that good. Anyway. Genesis is awesome and I recommend them for future PPF jobs and tinting services!
