I paid $98 for guaranteed delivery by 9:30 AM the next day. My letter was delivered two days later. For three weeks I have been trying to get a price adjustment. For three I have been given the runaround. I was told I have to fill out a request online. I do that only to get a message that I have to go into the store. I called the store and I'm told that I can only talk to one particular manager. Every time I call he's not there. No one else can help me. So I sent an email. I'm told by the other manager that he will get back to me. He doesn't get back to me. Now he's on vacation for two weeks. Completely ubsurd. Use FedEX. read more

service requested was a prepaid parcel that was insured for 1800.00. After there being no parking and waiting in a big ass line, the kid at the counter had no idea what to do with a form that I received from my customer has to be signed claiming they got it. I read it to him that it required his signature, the old grey guy chimed in we don't take that here rude and short have a nice day... So I go to another UPS store that I usually go to, explained my experience and was told that's crazy, no problem signed the form took my package. This store is Rude unprofessional, and unwilling to do anything extra, nor do they value any ones time. The days of good customer service across the board are over, its a shame.... The store responded (above) that they filed a claim for me for the doll for my daughter they lost in transit. WRONG. The claim I requested was for a replacement doll AND a refund of the money I paid them to ship the doll since it never was received. The store said "We would lose money" if they refunded me for the shipping - that they failed to do! Nor have they refunded me the cost of the replacement doll for the one they lost either. read more

A few days ago I stopped by the UPS store to return a Comcast box and get some documents notarized and was assisted by a young lady named Mary. Hopefully she's related to the owners and that's why she has her job because her customer service is below par. Very rude in excepting my Comcast return then when I asked her for notary she look like a pissed off teenager when you ask them to clean the room. Instead of communicating like an adult she was very snippy. I was told I had to cross out pre-printed items on the document and initial them before it could be notarized and when I sent it to the company it wasn't excepted because the document was altered. I brought new documents in to get re-notarized and the owner came out to explain the legality of it which I completely understood but unfortunately the young lady that was helping me today was a mini me of Mary. I know finding good help is difficult these days but remember the people you hire are the face of your company as an owner you might be awesome but a sourpuss will leave a bad taste in your mouth. I had my boyfriend drop off my packages for work ( i work at a dental lab ) because it needed to be there before 5 in order to get sent out today and one of the workers was racial profiling him. The worker asked my boyfriend if there was weed in the boxes ( assuming that cause he is black ) and even cut open the boxes to double check. That is HIGHLY unprofessional. Everytime i've went there has been no issues at all. The boxes all say the same thing ( my work logo/name ). This is unacceptable and further actions will be taken. read more

When ever I have any shipping business I head to UPS, because overall I have phenomenal service compared to a "Joe Bob" service. Are usually go to my local UPS store but because I was not in the area I chose to go to one closer to me. I was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of parking, the store is organized and neat, and the customer service representative "Jeb" was very courteous and helpful. As soon as I stepped into the store it seem like there was a swarm of people that came in behind me. Usually when this happens customer service reps become rushed. I needed to get a couple of documents notarized and also needed a couple of witnesses to sign a document. Alexandra was awesome. If I could rate her separately, I'd give her 5 stars. My issue was with the employee (who I gathered may have been her supervisor). I'm making this criticism as someone who worked as a HR manager for 15 years. Criticizing and belittling an employee in front of a customer was uncalled for and inappropriate. It made me feel uncomfortable and seemed like it wasn't the first time this had happened from the reaction of the employee helping me with the notarization. This type of "critique" should be handled privately. Because of this, I will not use this store again or recommend it to others. read more

The store is conveniently located in the Walmart/Sam's Club complex visible and accessible from El Camino. The staff are pleasant, well-trained, and during my visit there wasn't any wait. I had to return a well-intended but ill fitting Christmas gift, and the package handling process went smoothly and was completed efficiently. There is a limited quantity of retail items for sale, and if you are willing to pay a higher than competitive price just for the convenience they probably have the item you need. The UPS folks probably aren't appreciated as much as they should be, so be kind, and remember they really are all about the customer ..."what can brown do for you?". read more

I was so disappointed that the UPS store by my house closed. This is the next closest to me. But it seems to be one of the busier locations because there was constantly people coming and going. So service suffered a bit because the girls was trying to help 3 different customers at once (myself included). I don't mind waiting. But I do mind when you already started helping me, and now I'm waiting because you're trying to deal with someone else too. And then they had to wait while I was paying. So that was unfortunate. They DON'T do LiveScan. There were a couple people that came in asking for it during my 20 min I was there, apparently referred by another location. But they kept turning people away too. read more

Came in here last Friday afternoon to drop off a package on my lunch break. Wow what a huge UPS store. Very clean and spacious. Like the other UPS stores...they sell postcards, greeting cards, Wall Art & Decor, Photobooks, and Gifts. The store clerk was really friendly and helpful. I was the only customer at the moment. I LOVE this store. I had a previous not so good experience at a nearby UPS Store but I saw this one and decided to try it - because I really needed a mailbox. When I walked in I was greeted by the store clerk, Mark - he was with a customer but said he'd be right with me. When it was my turn he was very polite and apologized because they were busy and he was alone, but I told him I didn't mind waiting to process the mailbox paperwork. He explained all the features and benefits of the mailbox (package receiving, after hours pick-up was available to me, I could put the mailbox on hold while out of town and they could even forward the mail to me - I'd just pay shipping). Then he explained the payment options and benefits - longer terms came with bonus months but I could pay any way I chose. I believe that good customer service is PRICELESS and even if I had to pay MORE to get a mailbox here I would. Mark told me that the owner Jed is a great guy and I can't wait to meet him - I hope he's a lot like Mark. I rarely leave reviews but I feel this location warrants one. I have been to many UPS with no problems and this location lacked a lot of what other locations offer, one, specifically: the ability to send an email to print a label. I went on my lunch break (which is only 30 minutes) and thought I'd be able to print out my label and ship it out in under 5 minutes (just like I do at other UPS sites) and I ended up staying there for 20 minutes. The employee told me that they do not print via email and I had to wait for the person using the *one* computer to finish before I could print it. Of course, this person had difficulty accessing the computer and spent a good amount of time trying to understand it before someone tended to them. I was then finally able to use the computer after waiting for close to 10 minutes. I print out my label. Then, as I was waiting in line, there was only one employee during what I imagine to be their rush hour, as there were 5 people behind me and 2 in front. The employee did their best to accommodate the rush of people, and in no way were the employees inefficient or lacking in customer care, I honestly feel like this facility could benefit from more resources and services. What could have been an easy 5 minute trip turned into a difficult, 20 minute trip. read more

Poor customer service is not a problem for this place. And I believe it was the manager, Gerald that I spoke with regarding an estimate for a small binding job. Once I gave him all the details for the job, he tells me all his computers are being used and he can't give me a price. Period. Didn't offer to take my number and call me back or anything. I even asked if he knew how much the combs were just by themselves and he answered, "No". Thanks for nothing. I worked in the printing industry for over 20 years and was a CSR and an estimator.
