I came here for reprinting business cards. The Print Center was close and despite them being more expensive, I figured that we would support a local business. Unfortunately, the finished product was not as expected and candidly not even usable as the print size on the card was drastically smaller than our original card and not readable to many, especially our more senior clients. After paying $75 for design services and an additional $205 for 2500 business cards, I expected to at least have a product that I could use. When my dissatisfaction was brought to the attention of the Print Center, I was told by management that the size of the print was necessitated by the information on the card and that adequate size of print was purely an opinion. I find this excuse really was just an excuse because the information on my original card was no greater than the new card. Other printers that I have now consulted suggested that I give the Print Center the opportunity to make this print job right. Unfortunately management merely offered me 15% off of my next order. I feel strongly that more could have been done to address an inferior product in which staff could have done better to both manage expectations and deliver a better product. So I found this place on Yelp and decided to set up an appointment. Once at the the appointment I explain to Lily(the graphic designer) that I'm just opening up my business and I'm looking for help on creating an eye catching business card. She starts off by showing me business cards she already has and basically tells me we can just use the same template and input my information. I decline this offer since like I already stated before, I'm looking for a fresh new idea. Long story short Lily had no ideas for me so I then ask for a piece of paper and begin sketching some ideas. Later that day she emails me an invoice for 156$ for the graphic design( keep in mind she designed nothing for me, I drew everything out). I still pay the invoice because I'm looking to do business and I need business cards and also I'm thinking she's going to make my idea better and it'll work out. 2 weeks later I hear nothing from her so I email her for a preview of what's been designed and she sends me over the exact thing I drew on the paper nothing different nothing better. I understand the idea was mine however why was then I charged a graphic design fee if she didn't design anything for me ? I email her back and explain I don't like it and I feel like we should change it. She then emails me back and says that's fine but there will be another graphic design fee. Once she told me that I realized this place does not do any real designing of they're own. They take pictures from shutter stock and just copy and paste. I completely don't agree with that and advice any one who is potentially looking to do business here to go else where. No creativity, no good clear communication and honesty feel like they're just looking for any excuse to charge. You're better off using an online sight that you upload your own image from shutter stock and input your own information. read more

One of the best Printing Centers that I have utilized for my printing needs. They provided top notch customer service for my needs. They will work with you to make sure you have exactly what you need and how you want it before they print it. They print and customize anything from pens to shirt to vinyl decals. I had a vinyl decal that I needed made, and they had it done on the same day. I will be back to see Ruben and Arthur next time I need something done. read more

I enjoyed working with Alice and Arthur at The Print Center on Christian Students at Sac State club zip-up hoodies. It was my first time handling a project like this with a print shop, but they were patient, communicative, and ready to help with any issues/requests. I visited several times throughout the process (from initial meeting, to talking about design and apparel style changes), and they gladly assisted. Multiple times, they ordered samples of apparel styles we were considering and let us borrow them to have our club members test the fit/style. This helped a lot with narrowing down our options. I had our design on Adobe Illustrator files, and was able to work with them at the shop to refine the sizing/placement of the design elements. This place is absolutely five star status! The true test of a business is how do they perform under pressure......well they did wonderfully! I was taking my daughter and a a friend to Disney on Ice Frozen and I wanted matching shirts. So after hunting for someone that could even do it in three days, and do only 3 shirts, I found The Print Center. I let Arthur know what design I wanted and I had a proof in about an hour. Arrived to pick them up three days later and there were issues with the shirts. So my daughter and I waited. When the final product came out, it wasn't exactly what I wanted BUT they still looked nice. Because they were not exactly what I ordered, Arthur gave me the shirts for free and even threw in the proof shirt for my daughter to keep! I offered to pay him at least half because we were going to wear the shirts anyway, and he was not ok with that. Talk about exceptional customer service! It's pretty rare to even have someone be kind let alone prove that they value your business. I will tell everyone I know about them and I WILL return for any and ALL printing projects. I have worked with Lina and Ruben at The Print Center now for about 6 months. I am a PR Director who is currently re-branding a company in Santa Rosa and I reside in San Diego. My first order with TPC was a bit of a trial as I was trying to get over a hundred quality coffee mugs made to roll out a new logo design at a company event. The printers on the East Coast wanted my business, but shipment took too long from NY and the quality in the proofs wasn't great... just a digital snapshot on the mugs. When I talked to Ruben on the phone, he walked me through the high-res graphic layout and did the mugs in dye-sublimation process and they were shipped overnight in time for the event at a reasonable price. People are still talking about how wonderful they were, so crisp and clean and bright! I had told TPC if they did a good job on those mugs, I would consider using them for all of our new corporate identity products. We started with business cards, then presentation covers, and now letterhead, envelopes, and stock certificates. I am very picky and I have approved each item every step of the way. I can't tell you how confident I am using a printer in Sacramento even though we are all over the US... TPC ships to all of our locations... Santa Rosa, San Diego, and Philadelphia... and on time! This place is amazing. I teach at a school near them in Sacramento and my principal found the shop after we were getting the run around from another company.
