I have never had the need to use a printing service before and had zero clue as to the process. I was put in charge of a rather daunting project involving hundreds of merchandise in different colors and sizes. I was able to speak to Tony, who immediately helped me to understand the process and offered me a variety of choices based on price and quality of product. At the end of the day they delivered before my date needed and the quality was excellent. Thanks Tony! I'll be back! read more

So impressed with this team of creators! We recommend everyone to use Creative Impressions for their printing needs.

Excellent Service from start to finish! Staff email quotes replied in a timely manner and to meeting in person at their shop to go over my design and edits to make sure my order was ready to be screened. Our shirts were true to size and our work crew loved it! I do recommend you stop by and check out what they can do for your next shirt screening. We will certainly return for sure. THANK YOU! read more

Our first order was great, then down hill from there. Logos on first order started to deteriorate. Then we were not getting responses to emails. We tried going in because they kept telling us how busy they are, but they made us feel like a burden to there business. We really wanted to do business here because they are in a convenient location and we like dealing with local businesses. After giving them multiple chances, we will not be doing business here in the future! It's never good to make a customer feel like they are a hassle! read more

Very poor communication. I asked multiple when I placed my order if it could be done in a week. They assured me it would. Then the day of pick up I called to see what time I should come and was informed that they had "gotten behind" and also my order was going to require more setup. So my order was late and more expensive. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they just charged me my original price. read more

This store is incredible. This is my first official Yelp review, and I wanted to save it for a business that truly went above and beyond for me. I was working with a different t-shirt company to get shirts printed out earlier this year for the Sacramento AIDS walk. Two days before the event, the company called me back and told me they didn't have time to complete our order. TWO DAYS BEFORE. I called Creative Impressions on a whim since they were close by and explained my situation. The woman I worked with, Poonam, was the epitome of what customer service is supposed to be. She agreed to take on my super last minute project, and asked her employees if they would mind staying late to complete this project "for a good cause". The prices were highly competitive with everything else I had seen, the work was excellent and the customer service was incredible. Since the project was so last minute, they didn't have enough of the shirt color we wanted to complete the project. Poonam stood in their storage room on the phone and took the time to walk me through all the options available, helping me make the best decision for my team. I am so thankful that Creative Impressions and Poonam exist. THANK YOU!!!! read more

I love Creative Impressions!!! The customer service, the prompt service and attention to detail have been so excellent. I have been ordering our cafe t-shirts from them for many years. Today, i was running out of time to go pick up my order and I asked Poonam, if she could possibly run the order over and without hesitation, she responded, " no problem, I will help you out" ....WOW, I couldn't believe it !! Delivery is not Creative Impressions job however, they took care of us quickly!!! I have been extremely happy with this business in the past and today, I will remain a loyal customer. Thank you Creative Impressions, for making my job easier!!! Shannan B Cafe Bernardo Midtown read more

This place is Awesome. Staff was so helpful and understanding as I kept adding to my order. They accommodated a same day custom print order. Who does this any more? I'm so glad that they do. It made our day more fun. Prices are very reasonable. I would have gladly paid more. Telling family and friends about this place. read more

I have been using creative impressions for the last few years to make my company's shirts and aprons. I couldn't be happier. From the wonderful customer service from Poonam and staff to the quality work, it always a great experience. Everything I order always comes out exactly as I have asked. They get the job done quickly and efficiently. They go above and beyond to make sure i am satisfied and offer fair prices. I always feel well taken care of and would never go anywhere else. Such a great place! I was looking to get some shirts to be screen printed for my sorority and Scott did a great job! I brought in the shirts that I wanted printed and sent him my designs and he was able to get it done super fast! We only talked for like 10 minutes when I brought my stuff in so it made me hesitant, but when I came to pick up my shirts, I was seriously surprised by how great they came out! Price-wise it was super cheap! A lot of other places have a minimum and I was so glad I found this place to do my 4 shirts (each with the same design but different wording)! I definitely will be coming back if I need anything printed again! read more

I had kind of a weird experience with this place...the woman was so super nice when I called for a quote--very helpful, accommodating, she called to check in, we were in touch while I got my order together, etc. Then when I placed my order, she wasn't quite as friendly and when I asked if I could call her when I got back to my office with my company's credit card, and she told me she couldn't punch in a number because she has to pay more and she had "already given me a discount." Well if I already had a discount, I certainly didn't know. So she tells me I have to bring a check or bring in a card (rather than calling it in.) Shirts will be ready Wednesday. Wednesday comes and goes. I call Thursday. Finally get a call back Friday that the order is ready. So I go pick them up and hand her my company credit card. She panicked and says she thought I'd bring a check. I reiterated what she told me before. She swipes my card and brings a receipt and asks if I want to pay the $17 she gets charged for using a company credit card. Well, no. She tells me that for using the card, she gets charged a certain percentage so now she hasn't made any money off me. Yet she's already charged me and handed me a receipt. I don't know if she was just having a hard time being assertive and saying that charge has to be included, but I wasn't going to pay to use a card she said I could use and has it plastered on the front door as an acceptable form of payment. She ended up saying it must have been her fault and I left with my shirts, but I found the whole thing very bizarre. I too like to support local businesses, but I'd hope you know how to run said business in the first place. read more

One word: unorganized. I *really* wanted to do business with Creative Impressions; they are conveniently located next to Sac State. However, I had so many red flags with my experience there that I chose to do business with a tried and true company that's more expensive and a 30-mile drive from home. I wanted to get some fraternity shirts and jackets customized with some embroidery on the sleeves and appliqué numbers on the back...something that is very commonly done by at least 20 organizations on campus. When I called Creative Impressions for an estimate, the person working at the shop told me that he couldn't provide me with a quote because the person who does embroidery was out of the shop for a week. Red flag #1: "Why don't they maintain a price list for their services like their competitors do?" I dropped by the store, provided a description of the work I was looking for, and asked that the embroidery person email me an estimate. Red flag #2: what I received from the embroidery person was less than Spartan--the invoice provided no detail of the work to be done--no details of color, size, positioning---nothing. It simply listed prices for undescribed services...not a good thing if there was ever a question about what work was to be done. The invoice was also incomplete; the appliqué item was blank because they needed to call an outside source to find out how much to charge. That's red flag #3: if the company's expert had to call someone to find out how much a 10 inch number costs, they don't do this kind of job very often...if ever. They quickly gave me a quote, but as I would find out later, that price would not be honored. When I came in to drop off my order, I experienced red flag #4: the lady didn't refer to her notes from our earlier conversations or take down any details on an order form; she started jotting down information ON POST-IT NOTES AND STICKING THEM ON THE GARMENTS! To appreciate this fully, understand that I brought in 10 garments that each needed work done in 2 different locations...that's 20 post-it notes than can fall off or be misplaced when the were sent to the off-site shop to get the embroidering done. Maybe everything would have been OK. But if there was any mix up, how would I be able to settle a dispute...hand a person a stack of 20 sticky notes to interpret? It's not too much to ask that a job is accurately written out on an order form...businesses that want to get the job right the first time take the time to write up the job to the customer's specifications. After all this, I was STILL willing to give the job to Creative Impressions. I wrote out all the details on a sheet of paper so that everyone...me, the people working in the store, and the embroidery people off-site...would be on the same page. When I changed one thing--increasing the size of the letters in 2 of 4 positions--the embroidery lady increased the prices on EVERYTHING, including the work where there were absolutely no changes since the original quotation. That was red flag #5...and the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. When a business can't honor their own price quotes, they can't be trusted. I don't think that she was being shady, but it was clear that she was so unfamiliar with this type of work that she was reevaluating on the fly how much she should charge. If you want to experiment with a new vendor for custom embroidery work that, if done incorrectly, will ruin your garment, go ahead and try Creative Impressions. But if you can't afford to be a guinea pig, call Design Yr Sweats (the La Riviera store may be closed, but they're still doing business from home), or go to Executive One in Woodland; you'll be confident that they've done this kind of work before. read more

I usually like to support local business and have nothing against mom & pop operations, but this place has "subpar" customer service, poor communication, over-priced, etc.. I could go on and on. After almost 2 weeks of "dilly-dallying" I went online and ordered from Cafepress.com. I designed my own t-shirts in 20min and it cost me less the HALF the price of what was quoted. read more

Almost dismissed this place, but decided to give it a shot. Worked with Scott to create a few shirts and they came out just the way I wanted. His communication was excellent. I found their website and order form easy to use. Horacio responded quickly and has ensured a quick turn around. The customer service I received was friendly and straight forward. Not sure what everyone else is talking about. I felt reassured by their professionalism that the quality of the work will be of high quality. However, I will post pictures and updates upon receiving the final product and update on communication and agreed upon price points as many here have mentioned. read more

I recently had an urgent need for some one-color black Tees and my deadline was ridiculous, like three hours. But Creative took care of me without breaking a sweat. 12 top-quality 100% cotton Hanes Tees made in three hours from my artwork for around $12 per shirt. They are also nicely located near Sac State very close to Hwy 50, J Street and 65th. I was very pleased with the service and quality of the merchandise. read more

Awesome experience here! Owner of this place definitely goes out of his way for his customers. Something that's pretty much non existent in business today unless it's run by computers. Just awesome having a amazing print and embroidery shop in Sacramento. read more

First time I ordered from them it was a great print job and great response time, when I tried to ask them something about my second print job they were poor at communication. I even had to email them twice at times when they weren't responding to my emails and when they promised me a quote at a certain time, they failed! Made me feel like a burden to their business, so I will not be doing business with them anymore. I already found a better place to order shirts from at a lower cost not too far away. read more

Quick and excellent quality work! Our dance competition called Prelude Sacramento needed to order tshirts for our show next Friday. Mind you, one of our members has been emailing him since Monday (5/8) and we paid on Thursday (5/11). We were short on budget and had to lower our quantity. We also asked for mock tshirt designs before he started printing them. Scott provided excellent and quick responses to all of our emails. We had mentioned in our email that we would like to receive these tshirts by next friday (5/19) for our show next Saturday. Today (5/12) we received an email that all of our shirts are ready for pick up! Our whole Prelude Board was shocked at how fast the tshirts were done in such a quick amount of time. Literally finished our tshirts within a day of paying the whole amount. We're very impressed and would definitely recommend coming here to get your tshirts printed! They even provided us with a cute quick little video of them making our tshirts. Talk about going above and beyond in customer service! Thanks Scott for helping us with our tshirts this year! :) read more
